This is a add on to the children question, What's up with Leo? Did he get reminded of CJ? Or did he once have kids of his own?

Children question <-

The short answer would be yes. To both. Kind of.

In Leo's timeline, after Cassandra's death, Leonardo took Junior under his wing as his student, and in so doing came to love him like a son, having promised his mother to care for and protect him as such.

While not technically his own child, the affection Leo had for Junior couldn't be more perfectly described as anything else.

Junior was Leo's kid, and Leo was the father figure Junior never had.

And Leo failed him. . . .Or at least, that's what he tells himself.

It's a painful memory as you can imagine, one that only got worse when CJ was born in Mikey's timeline.

Which I'm not saying is necessarily anyone's fault, because it isn't, but even so, the constant reminder of the boy he lost and the fact that he will never have that connection with him again. . . it's rough. Really rough.

I've thought long and hard about how to help the turtles heal from everything that they've been through, because they deserve a happy ending.

And with this particular wound of Leon's, I've come to the conclusion that he just needs the chance to be a dad again.

I was watching Stranger Things earlier. And these two. Patrick McKinney. Will Byers.

HEAR ME OUT OKAY.

I really wanted Will to get over Mike in my AU, and I really wanted to expand on the other three Vecna targets' lives and personalities and whatnot.

And Pat and Will just clicked in my mind for some reason. It's nerd x jock guys, and if that isn't good enough, I got other reasons too.

Like the fact that they both have daddy issues. They both followed idiots around because said idiot was/is their friend. They were both targeted by a megalomaniac being from an alternate reality bent on destroying their world.

And I dunno, Patrick just seems like the kind of guy who would be a good boyfriend, you know? Especially after the whole Vecna thing.

And goodness knows Will needs some love after everything he's been through.

Okay, so Usagi is 37 years old, and Leo is somewhere in his late 30's. No one's really sure what his age is specifically, he wasn't exactly the best at keeping track of it back in his timeline.

I mean, technically Draxum figured it out for medical reasons, but Nardo would rather live in ignorance for as long as possible.

Can Mikey sense dead relatives like Leo's CJ since he is more advanced at mystics??

I've thought a lot when it comes to the whole Hamato Ninpo thing. A LOT.

And I've really had to define the limitations and extents of their ninpo, for my own sanity.

Michelangelo's ninpo is incredibly powerful, yes. He has the power to chuck sky scrapers half way across a city, manipulate the physiological makeup of brainwaves, see into alternate timelines, even cross the space between them and alternate universes (to a certain extent.) But Mikey's abilities do have a limitation, other than the obvious amount of control and power needed to pull it off: They all have to do with the physical.

I'm planning on diving deeper into this later on in the AU, especially with what I have planned for my What A Nightmare episode, but 'seeing' dead relatives all has to do with the spiritual and psychological aspect of ninpo. Which is where April comes in.

The heritage of the Hamato clan isn't defined by the bonds of bloodline, but rather by love and family. April may not be a Hamato by birth, but she is 100% a part of the family.

Her ninpo only unlocked when Karai was with her, during the Shredder event.

April, while still very new and timid when it comes to her newfound powers, has the ability to connect with the spirits and minds of all who have ever been a part of the Hamato clan. Both dead, and living.

It doesn't come naturally for her, and she still has a lot to learn.

Now, when it came to the whole Hamato mumbo jumbo, I made the decision to include CJ and Cassandra, who both have their own ninpo, whether they realize it or not. CJ's ninpo in many ways is sort of similar to April's, in the sense that he can interact with the spirits of dead Hamato ancestors. But it's through their ninpo. Not their minds.

April can channel their energy at a mental level, whereas CJ can 'see' their energy, if that makes sense.

I'm still developing this concept, so it's a little hard for me to explain lol, so sorry if this comes across super awkward and confusing.

But essentially, there are two ways a soul without body can manifest itself: through psychological means, and through physiological means. April can interact with souls in a mindscape setting, from deep meditation and concentration. Whereas CJ can also interact with spirits, just more in the literal, "Oh look, there's Gram-Gram sitting on the couch" kind of sense.

He does see Junior from Leo's timeline the most out of all of them though, mainly because Junior likes to keep an eye on his sensei and little CJ.

I hope that makes sense. For some reason, my brain's super tired today so it's hard for me to phrase anything right lol.

But the idea that it deteriorates senses as well. We always talk about how his powers have effected his hands and whatnot, but this is actually the first time I've thought about it going into other aspects too, in this case his eyesight.

Like. I'm getting ideas.

Hey there!! Maybe this is a strange question (that you might have answered before but) how do you draw the turtles (rottmnt) specifically? I’ve been trying to learn how to get a better grip on them and was wondering what tricks you use!! :D have an amazing day!

Bro, I have no idea how to draw turtles, genuinely. I mostly just wing it half the time.

Again, for me, I really just focus on their basic shapes and use a butt-ton of drawing references. The amount of screenshots I have of these boys on my phone is bordering on the ridiculous side for real.

Anyway, I hope that helps! If you have any further questions, I'm more than happy to try and answer them in a way that hopefully makes sense!

Ahh, thank you for sharing this passage with me! Paul is possibly one of my favorite apostles!

I've read this before, and find a lot of meaning in Paul's reminder that none of us are perfect - really, we're all in constant need of God's mercy and love.

I especially love verses 12-16; Paul specifically mentioning how God showed him patience and grace despite his past actions is really touching to me, because I know the Lord would show that same patience and grace to anyone, including myself.

One thing that I can definitely agree with Paul here is that Christ came into the world to save the imperfect - from the worst of humanity to the kindest souls, and everyone in between.

I know my own personal walk with God is a journey, and I'm so so grateful every day for His kindness and undeniable love. My faith in Him continues to deepen as I seek to live with a clear conscience and genuine faith, just as Paul encourages.

I know we might not see everything exactly the same, but I hope we can agree that love, humility, and grace should always lead the way in any conversation about God.
