Had such a nice morning, was able to sleep a little late cuz my mini-me is gone camping with my family for the week. Went and got some goodies from family dollar and won on a scratcher once again (only $12 this time but still doubled my money). Got bored but found my beads so I spent about 2 hours chilling on a blanket in the shade making these and listening to music and enjoying the view.

Finally finished it. Started it just after Christmas, would have been done sooner if I was able to crochet every day, still tho, so glad to be able to move into my next project.

My last world is inaccessible after the latest update, managed to spawn a few cuties in my new 🐼 colony but no brown one yet unfortunately.

Eventful Week

Been one hell of a week, kid was home sick Monday and Tuesday, turns out it was just allergies. Went for a walk on Tuesday, tripped in a pothole and broke my left ankle and scraped the fuck out of my right knee. Didn't know it was broken till Wednesday night, but at least I have an aircast and can actually walk on it without using my cane now. Yesterday was uneventful but this morning I started getting a fuckin migraine, thank the gods for pain meds that help with that. Now it's just my shoulder that feels like there's a fuckin metal spike in it. I swear my body is pissed off that I'm trying to do better and be healthier and has decided to stage a fuckin rebellion.

On top of all that shit there's the wonders of being a parent to an almost teen. This kid fluctuates between kind and happy and helpful, to the moodiest, most pissed off kid with the attitude of a thousand teenagers. Sometimes she's super willing to help me others just saying her name is enough to piss her off. It's one of the things that suck about being a single parent, I'm always the bad guy, no one else to help when it comes to the not fun stuff.

I don't even know where I'm really going with this, just helps to get it out somehow I guess. Not many people if any are gonna read this wall of fuckin text.

tldr: Life sucks sometimes, kids are stressful, I'm in pain.

Minecraft is finally working on my Xbox again so I can work on my little panda colony. Unfortunately Stardew is broken now. I can't catch a break with these games.

Couldn't sleep so I got a head start on my November layouts. I always get so stressed over getting them done and never actually want to do them. I make it feel like such a huge task in my head when really it only takes about 20 minutes total to finish. Decided on a purple and blue slightly spacey theme for next month.

Also watching gab smolders play Stardew Valley while I journal because Stardew Valley. I can't get enough of this game. Still only in my first year but I've been playing more lately and getting through it slowly.

I have so much to do this week, appointments almost every day, deliveries to wait on, which I hate doing, counselor, doctor, bloodwork. I just want to curl up in a ball and sleep instead. Doesn't help that I'm hella cold, only 60 in my room right now and I am of course being a typical New Englander and refusing to turn on the heat until at least November.
