Why aren’t we talking about the fact that Gale starts to border/enter a manic state in act three?

This man got told to kill himself by his ex, then had to fight a god, then found he Carrie’s the remnant of a false god.

He gets hit with so much in so little time that he just starts spiralling, it’s heart breaking.

Of course Bards have a close aspect to the weave, in some ways it can be seen more difficult but in the end it’s not the same still.

Gale has had no cause to learn an instrument when studying the weave so he doesn’t understand the intricacies of it, but Bards also are most likely more limited in what they can cast so it’s not the same.

Something I want to point out in general is how people hide Gale behind his trauma and excuse his behaviour and attitudes when he’s tested on skill, or in general told something he doesn’t like i.e. when you say the sex was fine.

Trauma can be an explanation but not an excuse.

Don’t have to scold him every time but you don’t need to put up with that sort of stuff every time, it’s okay to stand your ground.

Goes for anyone though but it’s very much seen in fictional characters; like Gale.

Gale 100% would not respect bardic magic.

If this man doesn’t consider a sorcerer a proper magic user in the same sense as a wizard then he’s sure as hell not gonna feel much better about a bard.

Gale’s not gonna look at some glammed up elf with a flute and go “oh they’re like me :) a wizard!” Like no he’s gonna be himself and give attitude.
