This is my gift for passing the one year anniversary (April 15) and for surpassing 200+ followers on the blog. (Devlog update below)

I know my health has been preventing me from working on the game, but I really am starting to get back into it now that I've had surgery and such. ;w; thank you to everyone hanging in there, everyone sending asks occasionally to give me something to post, and everyone who still harbors a modicum of excitement for the game.

I plan on prioritizing making backgrounds, finishing character profiles, and hopefully sprite work after that! Updates might still be sparse, I don't want to throw myself headfirst into development and do too much too quickly.

I really am so excited to be able to work on this game again and to get to reacquaint myself with the characters qvq

Griffin: you and Alex are the only ones that can calm him down. im not sure about comfort zone but a hard boundary of his is prying into his business, like going behind his back to snoop. Also don't touch his lenses without permission :( they're expensive.

Tris: you and Nina can calm him down. Hard boundary would be lying and sneaking around (cheating). Or you acting super spoiled and resorting to begging and/or bribing him to get you something.

Dell: you and Mags. Hard boundary would be forcing him to do something he doesn't want to, especially if you do it in a manipulative way like flirting with him.

Taipan: you and Melon. Hard boundary would be you trying to act like a nurse or doing things for him without asking. Like if he's in a chair and you start pushing him. Or you tell him to sit down while you get whatever he needs. He doesn't want to be treated like he can't do anything for himself anymore.

How long would they wait to move in with their partner?

What would their ideal wedding be like, if they want to get married? Who would they invite and who would they not?

How would they deal with a romantic separation and divorce? If they all want to get married, of course.

Griffin: he'd be googling the standard waiting period, but honestly if you're getting along, he'd probably ask around 6 months.

Wedding? Oh god. He's panicking HAHA if you're down for it, yall would elope in the courthouse and tell people later.

Separation? Divorce? Little owl, I don't know those words.

Tris: you're besties so immediately when you start dating he'd be bugging you to move in.

Gods, you think you've seen a big wedding, just wait until you meet the entire Solis lineage. Yeah, you're going to Spain, his entire family is there, and no you don't have a choice in the matter. Have fun!

He would do whatever he could to fix the relationship. If it led to separation/divorce, he'd back down. He doesn't want to force you. Doesn't want to make you miserable. Will still be your best friend, but he dies a little inside if/when you move on.

Dell: would want to move in immediately but wouldn't say anything. Would start putting out feelers around 3 months and if you're receptive, he'd ask by 5-6 months.

Dell doesn't really have any family, so any invitees would include Mags and your other friends. Maybe a cute backyard or park wedding. Something small and intimate.

Oh god, if you manage to marry and then divorce this man? He's done. He just lost his everything.

Taipan: I meaaaaan. It's been years and he hasn't said anything already. Mans would wait and wait and wait until you brought it up and then agree immediately.

Wedding would also be small and intimate. Not in a church but perhaps his parents' backyard. Only close friends and relatives. Lots of seating so he doesn't have to stand too long.

Like Tris, he'd try anything to fix the relationship. After some time, you'd split amicably and he'd still be there for you but much less. The stress has him in the hospital again, maybe for the last time.

Question 1:

Griffin: he can cook decently, but he's not top chef or anything. He'd encourage you to stay in the kitchen and watch. Maybe you guys can make a date out of trying a new recipe! :3c

Tris: please this man has professional chefs, he don't give a shit if you cook or not lmao

Dell: wouldn't care either. Would be happy to cook everything for you. uwu

Taipan: well you're both kind of screwed then HAHA Tai can't really be vertical for long periods of time so something like cooking a meal really takes it out of him.

None of them would shame you or say anything weird about it. Maybe joke if they have the tendency to do that, but otherwise it's no skin off their backs.

Profession/Career- because he doesn't want to do his hobby for a living, I could see him doing the conservationist in the environmental manager branch.

Hey bunnies .w.

Just a quick little update since I've been doing a lot of reblogging and not a lot of posting.

Right now, I'm doing good! I'm still recovering from surgery and working on getting my energy levels up and my motivation back.

I really want to work on the game but I know one main thing stopping me right now is backgrounds. So just a heads up that I might switch to using stock photos and just dealing with that for now until I have the energy to make backgrounds.

I'm tired of dangling bits in everyone's faces and I'd really like to get this story out and work on some more projects :3c

I haven't even been involved in anything since last year. I've been sick all year and have barely worked on my game.

The post above is not excusing QLP's actions. It's not excusing the things they said or the hurt they caused.

It's my own opinion that someone's thoughts said and vented in anger shouldn't be used against them. I'm sure you've said some shitty things in anger.

We're not perfect. Nobody is. We're not dodging accountability. Have I jumped the gun and gotten heated up over an issue before? Yes I have. And I've apologized for it when it's needed.

Cutting off people and groups based on one person's actions is childish. I didn't care to be associated with you prior to your response anyway, but I'm just pointing that out. We all just want to make games and chill.

Hi everyone! I deeply apologize for disappearing, I didn't realize i didn't post an update on here yet..... Grandpa disease I have been taking a break from all activities, including game development, art commissions, etc, eversince 6th of March 2025, and this might last until June 2025. Which, explains my inactivity lately and I understand it does seems like I'm abandoning the project (Never, I love working on this game and I still have so much more to show for you guys!!) I will mostly be repeating the things I have said on my Twitter :

For those of you who aren't aware, since I also see there are many new followers here (Welcome!!) I have a condition called CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) which really affects my energy levels, on top of other chronic illnesses I have been dealing with since I was a lil kiddo. Regrettably my health has only been getting worse starting from the start of this year, and even now, just sitting on my desk for hours end had become something I physically cannot do as much as I did in the past. I'm doing all I can to manage my symptoms, so it feels a little upsetting that despite my efforts my health doesn't seem to improve as much as I'd like to. I'm looking to work around the symptoms while also finding ways how I can continue creating that matches my current capabilities and comfortability I've been slowly easing myself back into development this week. Thank you all so much for sticking with me, your support means the world and it's what keeps me going ; u ;

An Announcement

Hello everyone. 💙

For future reference, I ask that I not be brought into drama in regards to other developers, fans, or the like. I'm here to make entertaining games and enjoy my time with my audience for as long as you'll allow me to.

I know seeing me involved in hurtful things can be frustrating and I know some things can be done with the best of intentions, but sometimes just blocking, (maybe dming me so I can handle it how I want to accordingly), and moving on is the best thing you can do in any given scenario.

I appreciate the thought, but I genuinely just don't want to be involved in any more drama and would like to create and have fun.

I'd also like to apologize if I've made anyone uncomfortable for taking my games down consistently.

While the recent case was due to me wanting to wait to release the REMASTER alongside chapter 4, I can see how it would make others feel uncomfortable. I apologize for my actions and I'll try to do better on that front in the future.

Reblogging here for a slight update regarding me, the dev :> my surgery went well and I'll continue to update when I'm back to working on Duplicity.

biggest part of recovering from surgeries is forgetting that it takes time. And since this was a major surgery involving a major organ, it's going to take a LOT more time than I think.

Yesterday I was feeling okay and had a good day, but today, man, today all I could do was sleep and watch a couple YouTube videos in the time I've been up.

I showered finally and even that just took a lot out of me. Sometimes you get caught up in the whole "I should be healed now" line of thinking instead of listening to your body and adjusting your expectations.

I think that's where I'm at right now. I know I've still got a hell of a long road ahead of me, it's just reminding myself to be patient and not spiral because things don't seem to be progressing.

It's a marathon, not a sprint uvu

Also if anyone is having a hysterectomy soon, be prepared for nausea because not even the patch helped mine .w. They're not lying when they say it's one of the most nauseating surgeries.
