Klance Au/Headcanon where the two were childhood friends

Marco went to college and decided to set up a life in the United States, when he realized it was working out he decided to invite his family to come live there too

The family thought it was a wonderful idea and decided that they would live there as Marco's neighbors

The paperwork was filled out, the tickets were purchased and the house in Cuba was rented

The only problem: The day before the trip Marco gave the news that the house was not built on time and the bricklayers needed 3 more weeks to finish

Luckily Marco's current girlfriend, Lydia, had a friend who was renting a house in Texas and because of their circumstances she would not charge them for the 3 weeks spent in the house and they would only have to talk to her before settling in

Upon arriving at the house (which they used Marco's car for) Mr. and Mrs. McClain told the children to go inside and look for a room for themselves while the two talked to the owner

Leandro (who will later be named Lance to fit in better at school) doesn't care, but Luis does.

Upon entering the house, Luis starts yelling, wanting to move into the new house right away. Rachel, who is responsible for them until their parents return, answers him, which leads to more yelling from Luis and Veronica, starting a fight on Rachel's behalf (who decides to try to break up the fight). Not wanting to hear all that noise, Leandro goes out into the street without anyone noticing

At the end of the street, Leandro sees a boy who is playing alone.

After standing still for a few minutes, trying to gather his courage, the boy sees him and goes towards him.

"Hi! I'm Akira!! Who are you?"

And oops, Leandro doesn't know enough English to understand the boy and just stands there.

The boy stares at him and points to himself.

"Akira," and then points to Leandro. "You?"

Leandro smiles and points to himself.

"Leandro."

Akira (who later named himself Keith to preserve the memory of who he used to be) smiles back and grabs Leandro's hand, using the other to point to where he was.

"Do you want to play?"

The cuban boy doesn't quite understand him, but nods.

The two children play all afternoon, even though they can't quite understand each other.

When dinner time comes, the two say goodbye and agree to meet tomorrow at the same place.

When Leandro arrives home, he finds his entire family worried and when they ask him where he is, he replies

" ¡ Con mi amigo !"

Zukka AU where both are caught by the Dai Li and brainwashed into thinking they are a couple

Where Sokka (High on cactus juice) is kidnapped in place of Appa and taken to the Dai Li

At the same time Zuko is caught around Ba Sing Se walls and taken to the river

To kill two birds with one stone the Dai Li decide to brainwash the two into believing they are a newly engaged couple moving away to start a new life (It's much easier to follow the lives of the Avatar's Friend and the Fire Nation Prince if the two are together)

PLOT TWIST: Despite having the history and facts about it, neither Sokka nor Zuko actually feel attracted to each other (Sokka actually feeling angry)

The two decide to continue the charade around people while investigating who they are and what really happened to them

Featuring: Sokka being a great liar but a terrible actor, Zuko being a a terrible liar and a great actor, people finding the two an adorable couple, the Dai Li wondering who is breaking into their facility and the two idiots slowly falling in love
