garnet asked one of the new guild members dorimir to make the rings engraved with a sun and moon. dorimir added the inscriptions and enchanted them to show when they put the rings on each others fingers iM SCREAMING ITS SO GOOD

AU where valerius ascended back to the Forest of Life before garnet chose to turn back to her original goddess, so out of sheer rage she takes the oath of vengeance offered to her by a different god and comes to regret it when she sees val in a dream

finished sketch omfg they’re everything to me!!! in a world where garnet and valerius both retire from adventuring by choice, they get married and have a big happy family. this is the first of their bio kids, mavara, named after garnet’s late mother <3

inspired by a headcanon i saw on tiktok!!! i’ll try to find the user over here: both of them struggle to look in the mirror because they only see the people they’ve lost. they start doing each other’s makeup and self care routines every night so they only have to look into the face of someone they still have and not someone they’ll never see again

guys don’t worry garnet isn’t dead and i’m (no longer) planning on having her die as a write out for her character. if she dies she dies but rn the current plan is for her to retire from adventuring ;) i just had to get this out of my system
