I was looking through Diaval's tag on here and just realized while there is a lot of Maleval posts out there no one is talking about two specific things that stick with me from the second movie.

When Maleficent was announced, on the way in to meet Philip's parents, she flared her wings behind Diaval and used one to pull him along At Her Side, keeping him close. Socially this also places him as her equal but yk what does she know of courtly manners, she's just doing it to keep hold of her emotional support raven.

Also, Diaval stood with the parents at the wedding ceremony. Right there with King John and Maleficent, because he raised Aurora too damn it.

With everything going on with the Good Omens season 3 production and of course the Neil Gaiman allegations I think the best move is to have David and Michael take his place. They are definitely qualified with a deep understanding and involvement with the show for the past 5 years. Cause I feel like they know what should be happening story and character-wise.

And if they really need Neil Gaiman opinion on something he still wouldn’t be credited or profiting since they would be taking that Exc Producer and Showrunner position.

And if not both of them then I feel like it would be Michael Sheen.
