under the stars • spencer reid {one - shot }

like after every case you had a few hours, usually a night off before flying back to d.c. and tonight wasn't different. the case was solved, unsub was in custody and you and the team had a few hours for yourself.

you usually spent those few hours either alone or with spencer just wandering around the town. you had planned to do that tonight as well but spencer told you earlier today that he has something planned for you.

back in your hotel room you got ready, after all you're not gonna go on a date in clothes you chased the unsub in. spencer was already waiting for you in front of your room door. he offered you his elbow and you happily accepted it. on your way out of the hotel you saw the team in hotel bar, pushing thoughts of last case back into their mind with help of alcohol. you didn't have to care about those thoughts now, you had spencer by your side and you were sure in for a wonderful night.

with spencer all bad thoughts and memories from horrific cases you see each week were suddenly gone, like those cases never even happened. there sure were there but spencer's hug, kiss or just his hands holding yours buried them deep down in your brain. it was like he was your medicine against nightmares.

you made your way downtown, walking hand in hand, talking about all sorts of things. spencer hasn't stopped talking from the moment you left the hotel door. he always had something to say. he usually pointed at things and told you about everything he has read about each place. as always you were amazed, it has amazed you even after all the years of knowing him, how much he has to say. he remembers everything to detail, but that's of course his eidetic memory. he would also made up these little stories about those places just to make you smile or laugh, but you obviously knew they weren't real, it was his way to bring you to smile, and gosh how much he loves when you smile. best stories were the ones that had a touch of his favorite halloween, scary little stories he made up so he can pretend he's protecting you against bad spirits surrounding you.

you had walked for a quiet a while and you at this point has wondered where in the hell is spencer taking you. it was pretty far away from the hotel, which was unusual because you

mostly stayed around the hotel area. but not today, today he had dragged you almost all across the town. it was a small town so everything was technically close to each other but of course getting somewhere on feet always takes longer. but after a short while you had arrived to your destination.

spencer stood you in front of the big, white building that you had recognized from before. it was observatory, where you came to question a suspect at the beginning of the week.

"i thought we could have a private visit. just you and me" he smiled and lead you to the door.

the observatory was indeed empty. only the exhibitions were lit up, creating a path to the main room of the observatory. you stepped inside and spencer helped you take off your bag and coat that he placed next to door, so you have your hands empty.

he took you by hand and slowly started walking down the lit up path. the walls were covered with facts about planets and universe in general. the space always fascinated you and you told about it to spencer on many occasions, so it wasn't that much big of a suprise when he brought you here. as you walked down to the main hall, spencer wouldn't stop talking about the beginning of universe. by the time you got to the door he had told you the entire history of space. he stopped you before you could enter the door.

he stood in front of you, with biggest grin on his face. you knew that there was gonna be something magical behind the door, but spencer's smile just confirmed it. this may be the best date ever, you thought

"everything behind this door is just for you y/n. so let it sink in, enjoy it. all i know is that it's gonna be beautiful and that you're gonna love it" his smile kept growing with each word that left his mouth.

right before he opened the door he kissed you gently on your lips. the door opened and you were welcomed by a purple lightning coming from the hall. you entered the room and immidiately looked up. the whole ceiling was filled with stars, constellations, planets. it felt like you were there in space. tears filled your eyes, no one has ever done anything like this for you.

for a second you looked down and saw spencer in the hall as well, looking at you with the biggest smile in the whole world. you immidiately rushed to him and gave him the biggest yet most gentliest, filled with love kiss. your arms wrapped around his neck, his right hand softly placed on your cheek and his other arm wrapped around your waist. after the kiss you both looked up to see all the stars above you. the whole ceiling was filled with them. your body was full of emotions you never felt all at once.

"i love you" you whispered to spencer when you looked into his eyes that were reflecting all the colors of galaxies that were floating above you.

"i love you too, y/n" his forehead touched yours and his hips started slowly sway into sides.

this was his nodd for you to slowly start dancing. you closed your eyes to comprehend everything that's happening. this was the happiest and most in love you ever were. you stood there under the stars, wrapped in spencer's arms, slowly swaying to music that was only playing in your minds. you could cry but you didn't wanna ruin this perfect moment.

after a while spencer suggested that you two would lay down on ground and that way get a better look at star-filled roof. you layed there his hand under your head to keep you more comfortable. he started poiting at constellations and naming them. the fact that he remembered all of this because of you made your heart fill with warmth.

"and that right there is cassiopeia, it was named after a queen in greek mythology. she was boasted about her unrivaled beauty. i bet if you were alive back then she'd have a rival and would probably lose because if anything, your beauty in our modern world is unrivaled" oh, how much you love when spencer flirts with facts.

he told you probably everything there is to know about space. he obviously has done his homework before coming here.

after what felt like hours he jumped back on his feet and dragged you up as well.

"before we leave, let's dance one more time" he said in the calmest voice possible.

you didn't hesitate and immidiately put your left hand on his back and your right hand into his left hand. your face was buried in his chest and his right hand was chasing down your lower back. you slowly danced to the sound of spencer's humming. he was humming your favorite song, that he loved dance to with you. if you were cheesy enought you would've called it your song. he spinned you under his hand, kissed your neck gently and tried to make you laugh all while dancing around the room.

after the dance he pulled you in for another kiss. you could feel all the passion and love in his kiss. he couldn't have ended the already perfect night with anything else.

on your way out of the observatory he spinned you a few times making you almost fall into his arms.

"thank you for all of this. i gotta be honest but it was the best date in the whole world. god, how much i love you dr reid" you smiled at him and you could see how he blushed.

"anything for my star. i love you too agent y/l/n" he smiled back and kissed your cheek.

the sun was already rising when you left the building. you got a few hours of sleep before leaving with rest of the team back home. although you left the town, the memories of that night stayed with you forever.

Calls for Justice for Aurora’s Violinist Elijah McClain Grow

Elijah McClain was a kind and gentle 23 year old who worked as a massage therapist in Aurora, CO. On his lunch breaks from work, Elijah would go to the animal shelters and play violin for the animals because he thought that they were lonely in their cages and thought that the music would calm them. 

In August 2019, Elijah went to the gas station to buy some iced tea for himself and his cousins. Because he suffered from anemia he would often wear a ski/ runner mask over his face to stay warm. On his way home, the Aurora Police department were called to reports of a “suspicious man.” 

(Warning: for violent description) Elijah was apprehended by a group of three cops, despite committing NO crime and being unarmed. A struggle occurred, and he was held in a very dangerous carotid hold around his neck while he cried for help, cried out that he couldn’t breathe, cried out that he was nonviolent and couldn’t even kill a fly, and was repeatedly throwing up. Elijah weighed a mere 140 pounds. You can hear on the audio footage, an officer instructing another to move their body camera out of view.

While 3 Aurora Police Dept officers violently restrained him they called Aurora Fire Dept, who injected him with ketamine (a powerful drug used to tranquilize horses or in surgeries by a trained anesthesiologist and illegal to be administered by anyone else) even though he was already cuffed and calm.

He went into cardiac arrest , slipped into a coma, and his family was advised to take him off life support 6 days later.

The cops were transferred to another department but never received charges.

My favorite movies with Chris Evans

in honor of Chris's birthday today I have decided to create a list of my favorite movies of his. I love Chris and he's been my favorite actor ever since I can remember. Some of these movies are in my opinion really high quality movies and well some of them are just guilty pleasures that remind me of better times.

1. Captain America: Winter Soldier

let's be honest here, one of the most high quality mcu movies. this was before russos lost their minds and actually appreciated steve's storyline. this movie not only gave us "fuck the goverment" steve but also a face mask kink because of mr winter soldier. natasha in this movie "chef's kiss", introduction to sam wilson AMAZING. this movie is IT. best mcu movie and best cevans movie in my opinion!

2. Snowpierce

before the tv show there was a movie, stareing chris evans. this one had me both in tears and in shock. amazing movie, with amazing cinematography, great action and perfect acting. this one was directed by bong joon ho who also won an oscar for parasite this year, so you can pretty much imagine it was a good movie. the cast is also amazing - tilda swinton, jamie bell, octavia spencer and many more! if i had to recommend someone a good movie, i'd definitely recommend this one.

3. Knives Out

ahhh this movie. P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N!!! the whole movie was one big suprise. from the beginning to the end i was wondering who the killer was and when we found out i was SHOCKED! chris's perfomace in knives out is pure perfection. let's just be honest here this was chris's award perfomace but seems like everybody decided to ignore it. on top of great criminal detective movie it was also very funny in some points hilarious. it gotta be one of the best movies of 2019 (even though i've seen it in 2020- damn you european cinemas).

4. The Nanny Diaries

guess we are in the guilty pleasure part now. but i looooooooooove this movie. i remember watching it ever since i was kid and all i can say i have good memories of it. scarlett johansson and chris evans in this movie are such a cuties (especially chris). it's a classic family rom-com but it's actually one of the better ones. it's cute it's nice and definitely worth of watching for some chill evening (worth of watching because of the fetus chris ;)))).

5. The Fantastic Four

this movie might be the reason why i have such a high standart in men or we could also call it a source of my daddy issues since my first crush was chris evans in this movie (so yeah thanks dad for showing me this movie at such a young age). no but seriously this movie might have been a little trashy (better than the 2015 version after all) but for the time when it was made it's actually pretty good. the movie over all is pretty good and i honestly believe it gave us a nice version of fantastic four. my personal favorite from the 2 movies is silver surfer (wish i knew why) but this first one is pretty good chill movie and on a bad day this one would bring a smile to my face.

6. Not Another Teen Movie

this one brings out so many memories of my early days of stanning chris evans and finding out about this movie. i recently rewatched it because i found out that the main character janey is played by the same actress who plays lexie grey in greys anatomy and also supergirl's sister in supergirl - when i found out about this i almost died of laughter and ever since whenever i watch greys and look at lexie my mind is blinded by the opening scene of this movie. it's chris's first movie so we can ignore how bad it kinda is and we can also forgive him for the banana in the ass scene. it's a complete bullshit i'm gonna be honest (no wonder why they called it that way in my country) but it gave me a good laughter so i lowkey recommend it.

chris obviously has many more great movies but these are my favorites.

my favorite underrated tv shows

MAY INCLUDE SPOILERS!!!

(thank you so so much for all the love on the powerful women post pt.2 coming real soon)

today i wanna talk about some of my favorite shows who are also pretty underrated.

here are few "rules" that i included while making this list:

1. i haven't seen many people talk about it

2. the fandom can be quiet big but doesn't extend to other fandoms (such as supernatural, sherlock etc)

3. are actually really good but people have not discovered them yet

so here are the few rules, don't forget to let me know if you know or love these shows and also let me know if you like any underrated tv show that should be talked about and now let's get into the list

1. Gotham

i especially wanna talk about this one. i cannot believe how freaking slept on this is. the show is based after death of bruce wayne's parents and the whole story is happening between death of his parents and him becoming batman. it also shows many origin stories of DC villains such as Penguin or Riddler. i actually haven't seen such a high quality show in a while. i've seen bits of other DC shows like Flash and those ones but none of them are on the same level as Gotham. the way it tells the story of batman's origin is something quiet unique. it has sadly ended after season 5 but for me season 5 was one of the best seasons of the show. you can watch it on netflix (US has all 5 seasons).

2. Barry

oh i have so much to say about this show (and i will in a seperate post i am preparing). it's hilarious. the story follows barry berkman an assasin into la where he follows his target into acting class and finds out that maybe acting is real true passion. it's a genius show, it may seem quiet dumb when you find out what's it about but that's why it is so incredibly good. bill hader practically made this show: he created it, he produces it, he directed few episodes and he also plays the main character (for which he won 2 emmys). but the show also has deeper points and many many times it leaves you sitting at the edge of your couch. i cannot express how much i love this show. you can find it on hbo go (or max - idrk what hbo max is so)

3. Agent Carter

so i talked about how underrated this show is in my previous post, but now i get a chance to talk about the show. so it basically follows peggy's life after the events of Captain America First Avenger. the show perfectly shows not only how amazing Peggy is, or how strong and independent she is, but it also shows how she was able to move on and live her life after everything that happened. it gave us amazing friendship between her and jarvis who are just one unstoppable duo. you can find it and watch it on Disney+

4. Bodyguard

this one is not certainly for everyone and certainly isn't the type of show i'd normally watch. but i watched mostly because of richard madden (well only because of him). the show centres around terrorists attacks that started of the show and were going through the whole show. david budd transfers from police sergeant to bodyguard of high positioned politician Julia Montague. the show has love, drama and almost anything you can think of. and also there's a lot of use of word ma'am there (91 times to be exact). like i said it's not for everyone due the plot of the show can be really hard. but if you decide to watch i promise it's gonna keep you on the edge of your seat for the whole time + you get to see richard madden's butt (😉). it's a netflix original so you can of course find it on netflix

5. Chicago Med

i haven't seen the season 5 yet because when i was watching it someone decided to take down the site where i watched and i had hard time finding it ever since.

this one is a part of this bigger "universe" - there's chicago pd, chicago fire and chicago med. the show is about ER on chicago med. don't get me wrong i really enjoy grey's anatomy but this one could've been more tense in some moments since it was centered around ER so like the first responders to traumas. there's ER in grey's but it's not always so centered around it like this show. it's actually quiet good show. characters are good, there's romance as always, after all it's a med drama, there's a very good amount of medical stuff. so if you liked grey's and you're looking for something similar you should most definitely check this out (and if you wanna know what's it like jist search it up on youtube and the show has official youtube and there are some traumas and that's basically how i discovered it and it really helped get into it). i'd love to tell you where to watch it but i have no idea where to (if you know where you can watch it for free please let me know)

Honorary mention: The Good Place

good place is not so underrated as other shows but i still feel like it should be more talked about. it's still not where the office, parks and rec or brooklyn 99 is and it most definitely should. the diversity is *chef's kiss* the humor is immaculate. i honestly cannot believe that some people still tend to ignore this show and then talking about the office or b99. you can find it on netflix.

that's all, i think, i have. i don't think i can make pt.2 but i can talk about my favorite shows overall.

most powerful women in movies/tv shows (in my opinion)

not gonna lie i either wanna be them or i wanna be with them

i talk a lot about movies characters (especially mcu.) than tv show characters but i have so many more poweful female characters in my sleeve that i can do a part 2 if you'd like!

1. Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games series)

let's not lie, if it wasn't for this queen right here, our generation wouldn't be so brave and bold. words cannot express how much power she holds. 13 year old me wanted to be her and nothing more, and let's be honest 5 years later i still wanna be katniss.

2. Hermione Granger (Harry Potter series)

gotta be honest for years i despited her. she seemed annoying and i just didn't like her in general. but as years went by i realized that hermione is actually an amazing character. her most powerful moment was definitely punching draco malfoy in the face (let's be honest). but at the end of the day she taught us how to be badass with books and wisdom not only punching or shooting arrows

3. Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter series)

she thought us how to be ourselves no matter what others say. whenever i feel embarrassed with the things i love or the way i just am i just remember that luna lovegood would not only love me but she'd be my no.1 fan.

4. Peggy Carter (MCU)

underrated QUEEN. if you still haven't seen the show Agent Carter shame on you. she is practically behind everything that happened in mcu (except all the galaxy stuff obviously). she's behind avengers because without shield, avengers would never happen. why? because peggy carter is the founder of the shield. also don't even get me started on how dirty endgame did her. she really poured last bits of steve's blood into river and she moved on, but why not erease that whole moving on thing and get her back with steve who apparently cannot be with anybody else than peggy (i believe if there was a much better writing we'd see how beautifly would steve move on, but that's for the next time)

5. Nebula (MCU)

another underrated queen 'cause y'all SLEEPING on her. if it wasn't for her dear tony wouldn't have survived in space more than 5 days. even if it was hard for her she was able to disobey thanos and go with her sister and become a good person. you could see that magneficent character development in endgame where she did not only kill her 2014 self to protect people that were there with her but she also worked with avengers which she'd never do back in the gotg days.

6. Okoye (MCU)

once again ANOTHER underrated queen. i haven't seen a lot of people talk about her which is a huge shame. she's not only badass but she was able to stand up to the love of her life to protect her king and her nation and that proved us that she does not need no man. and when she laughs oh my god so gorgeous!

7. Hela (MCU - Thor Ragnarok)

the POWER (that's literally all i have to say).

8. Fish Mooney (Gotham)

the rightful queen of gotham. all i can say is that if she was in game of thrones the night king would be dead by the season 2.

9. Margaery Tyrell (Game of Thrones)

if she was there in season 8 when they were deciding on the next ruler of the six kingsoms she'd be very hot candidate. they'd never have more loving and rightful queen like margaery. absolute queen.

10. Rowena MacLeod (Supernatural)

(i'm still catching up on s15 and i've heard some things, i don't know if they're true or not but there's nothing mentioning that here)

absolute legend i'd have to say. she made me love scottish accent. but other than that she practically owned every single episode she's ever been in. she also made supernatural even more watchable. (also ruth is a total sweetheart and i absolutely love her!)

for a very long time i felt like i needed a space where i can talk about movies and tv shows and express my feelings and just freely talk about stuff that i love - which are movies and tv shows
