Okay some updates about the Spain Blackout from a Spaniard living in Spain.

The power went out around 12:30 PM. I was working and my computer just shut down - wifi, landline, phones, everything was out. Some supermarkets, hospitals, and specific places like radio stations were able to keep working because they had generators but the power went out in Spain, Portugal and some areas of France. (please fellow Europeans, confirm if it happened in your area too!)

The power came back during the afternoon, very slowly and first on the north and the south. It didn't come back in my area until 9 PM but we could keep track of news because of the radio - they're CHAMPS.

It's been a VERY CHAOTIC DAY. Some people were trapped in trains for hours and hours, and there were also massive traffic jams (and not even the street lights worked). Some hospitals could keep working and providing basic services, but apparently people have been very civil about emergencies and using the emergency services responsibly!

It was a very weird day - the power was out everywhere, nothing worked, the supermarkets were EMPTY and it reminded me of the first days of COVID. But then you had old people sitting outside, chilling and sharing a beer with friends and everyone playing with their kids at the park. PLEASE DON'T SPREAD MISINFORMATION. Right now, no official statement of why this happened has been released. Don't make it easy for hateful people who are trying to get political credit out of this and spread fear. Please, don't share any information that doesn't come from official channels. Don't add to the panic and anxiety because it's been a DAY ALREADY.

If you've got friends in Spain, Portugal, and France, reach out to them to make sure they're okay. But don't panic if they don't reply immediately, electricity and internet services aren't back to many areas people are prioritizing checking on their families.

You said that Ver's opioion on the templars and circles changed by Veilguard. Does she regret picking Cass? Does she fear that her mage child will be sent to a circle worse then Kirkwall becuase Cass prove ineffective at improving things?

Nope, she doesn't regret picking Cass. And again, she didn't really "pick" her because she didn't want to be involved. More like the system did their own thing and I, as a player, didn't really bother to check any walkthrough... 😂

We don't know what happens in the South by Veilguard and what will happen in the future of DA so it's very Territory Headcanon. I don't think there will ever be a circle worse than Kirkwall, plus in any case Ve and her family are privileged little shits and I don't think anyone would come for the Inquisitor and her son.

The Hades and Persephone story that I'm currently writing will be a direct sequel to The Time Wars. By then, Hades has been "Hades" for A LONG TIME and in that story he's only called "Aidoneus" twice by people who knew him as a boy (spoilers out of context: by Cronos and Prometheus)

People who know him after he moved to the Underworld don't really have that kind of knowledge/closeness? But I think Persephone might call him "Aidoneus" in certain important and intimate contexts, tho it doesn't happen often!

in the time wars, why are they called Dias/Poteidas/aidoneus instead of Zeus/poseidon/hades? sorry if you already explained!

Hello hello! Thanks for asking, don't worry I love talking about them!

The main characters of The Time Wars are Sito, Dias, Aidoneus, Poteidas, Hestia and Hera. They're the younger versions of the gods, and when the story begins they're just teens with superpowers (and a lot of family baggage) but they aren't kings/queens/powerful gods and goddesses just yet.

They will become Demeter, Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon during the story once they earn their domains and kingdoms. The change of name also means a change on their identities and will have an impact on their responsibilities, duties and powers (like Hades becoming the sentient guardian of the Underworld and Poseidon embracing the sea as another trait of his own being)... So while they're essentially the same characters, they're not there just yet.

This story is start and backstory for the gods, so I decided to give them different names inspired by their epithetes/titles/previous names to highlight they were someone else before the war and they were changed by it (don't know if this makes sense hahaha sorry?)

The Time Wars is a retelling of the Titanomachy, the myth about how the young Olympian gods defeated the previous generation (the Titans) and became the new rulers of the world.

Cronos and Rhea had six children: Demeter, Hestia, Hades, Poseidon, Hera, and Zeus. He feared one of his kids would overthrow him (like he did with his own father lol) so he ate them... Except for Zeus, who was hidden as a baby and when he was grown up he returned to release his siblings.

That's where The Time Wars begins - except I'm taking some creative liberties and instead of inside Cronos's belly the gods were trapped in a timeless capsule in a cave until Dias (Zeus) rescues them.

As I said, it's a retelling, so some characters from Greek mythology/Hesiod's Theogony might appear and some might not, or be a bit different, and there might also be some original characters. They're also my personal interpretation of the gods and other characters, and I made some alterations and inserts depending on what I feel the story needs. But SUMMING IT UP: it's a war between a the younger generation of gods and their predecessors.

My comic is an action/fantasy story... with a lot of drama and tragedy on the horizon with teenage heroes being forced to be soldiers and make adult decisions too soon. It's also an exploration of generational trauma, with the mistakes and baggage of their parents and grandparents following them and shaping them up, and how to break free of it (or at least, try to heal).

Does Aed knows Ver was reposible for picking the new divine and does he resent her for picking cass?

Aed was 21 when he was conscripted. And in less than a year he lost his best friend, his home (which was full of abominations and he almost had to kill everyone he's known since he was a child,), had to chose the new king, end a civil war and kill an archdemon.

During that time, he also fell in love for the first time... AND THEN his girlfriend left him.

He's had enough geopolitics for a lifetime. He doesn't care. He'd love to be stay-at-home dad and never be involved in anything ever again.

Does Aed ever meet with Alistair again?Considering Aed spared Loghain.

It took some time and effort from both sides... But I think a hardened Alistair ends up getting the Warden's pov. So Aed and Alistair reconcile and go back to be good friends - and honestly by Awakening it seems like they're in good terms again (even if Alistair is still a bit salty)

After Awakening, I think Alistair makes all kind of excuses to summon "the Arl of Amaranthine", "The Warden-Commander" or "The Archimage" all the time (as if they were different people, so it happens more often lmao) because he feels kind of lonely in Denerim :_)
