Words can not adequately express how this little scene moved me. Leo and Mikey are very near and dear to my heart, so to see such a tender moment between two younger brothers is EVERYTHING to me.

King is such a powerful statement as well because younger Leo wanted nothing more than to be recognized by his brothers as someone worth noticing hence dubbing himself as “King Leo.” So to see Leo cRaDLiNg his littler brother and giving him the title Leo has wanted so much as a child just…it hit me man. Mikey is Leo’s hero and I really wanted to try and capture that moment of the relief and joy of seeing his brother come back even if it was just for a moment. Also *tips hat and bows in Tapa’s direction* Been a big fan for a fat moment ma’am and just want to express my gratitude for you doing what you’re doing. Words won’t ever be enough to express how incredibly impressed and in awe of your skill and abilities. You’re inspiring people honey, and the worlds honestly a better place because of what YOU do.

I made this art for the kickoff of Tapas’s Inksgiving tomorrow (November 20th at 3pm pst, a great time to support your fave creators. You can read more about it on the Tapas App) so figured it’s also a good time to remind you I do in fact have comics about my OCs!

All of my characters are part of my largest project, Seemingly Dark, including these two, Rose and the Hitchhiker.

John and Caro, the two from my detention piece, are from Seemingly Dark, but also have their own story called Mil-Liminal.

Mick and Reggie, two of the protags in Seemingly Dark have their own Meet Cute story, Call Me Mickey.

Ghost Eyes octuplets : C'mon now. They were raised in a church in the woods. They used to do wolf roleplay. Their parents are murderers. Their family is haunted by mysterious beings. The only other teens they know are each other. THERE ARE 8 OF THEM!!!

Dani and Dorian : honestly one of most accurate sibling depictions of all time: funny, heartwarming, tragically bittersweet all at once. their dynamic and how they are always there for each other even when they have (very realistic) fights reminds me of my own siblings. wytte twins forever!!

Content warnings: Domestic abuse is implied but not shown or discussed explicitly- Character is yelled at harshly by a parent, and we see scars from past violent encounters. Character later has a triggering event when grabbed by the arm.
