Why Dungeons and Dragons will Help your Novel
Tumblr media
Alright guys so lets be real, raise your hand if you’ve ever played DnD? Now put it down. Ok, now raise your hand if you write and want to be published one day? See? Waaayyyy more of you are here. “But what does DnD have to do with my writing career?” you ask? Well my friend, DnD is a great writing tool that I think is completely underused in the writing community. This is especially true regarding ~helping~ underdeveloped characters and worlds.

About Me
I’ve always been inspired by great works of fiction. From fantasy to folklore and just about everything in between, I love to read. To me, an author is a storyteller that invokes powerful emotions in others by using words to create a new worlds. As I chronicle my journey as an author, I hope you’ll let me be your guide into those new worlds.
You can often find me in my native habitat: in front of a warm computer by a bright window with a warm cup of tea—dreaming of different worlds. I enjoy seeing new things and often find inspiration in the most unlikely places.
I am a huge fan of fantasy, and I think it’s time the genre gets a makeover.
I started out writing fanfiction in notebooks and sharing with friends and have since created original stories from the ground up. I am a huge advocate of LGBT representation in fiction, and strive to write what I would like to see in future books.
When I’m not writing, I enjoy playing Guild Wars 2.
What can you expect to find here? Well, I plan on using this blog to write up day-to-day ideas, thoughts, and story snippets as well as reblog inspirational posts.
