Advice for first time rp admins?
Stick to it! No matter what happens. You can’t abandon your group just because the dash may not be active- make it active, introduce new plots/events/tasks to keep things moving and entertaining. If the time comes down to it and all you can do is shut down the group, don’t feel bad, no matter how much you loved the plot it happens to the best of us.
Respect everyone, even if anons send you hate, kill them with kindness! Don’t take hate to heart, but take constructive criticism into consideration. When you get your group reviewed, don’t get mad if they suggest you change something- in the end it is your choice whether to follow our advice or not. That being said, don’t let anyone boss you around either.
It is okay to ask for help! You may think you need to do everything in a precise way and that if you asked for help from someone else, they might ruin it. But that's not true! It's impossible to do everything on your own, and being an admin will become a full-time job rather than a hobby.
Create a roleplay out of something you love, if could be about Disney, or Harry Potter, or anything at all, as long as you feel passionate about it. People may say your plot is “Over done" or “Unoriginal" or your FC’s are “Overused", but if you are comfortable with your choices, stick to them. If you start trying to please everyone just to get a ton of applications you’ll run out of motivation and creativity quickly, that’s why I say choose something you love. Even if it isn’t popular there will be someone out there who feels the same way about your plot as you do, so don’t try to please everyone. Please yourself. Create something you can say you are proud of!
I hope this helped you! And that I didn’t ramble too much.

Hi, lovely, would you mind giving me an opinion on this? Thank you!
The first thing I thought was Isle Delfino from Super Mario Sunshine, I’m a nerd don’t hate me. I like the scavenger hunt/secrets idea. And about the background, you’ll probably have to change it in the code, if you aren’t good with coding I or another RPH could help you if it’s bothering you that much. Check them out guys!

opinion on copenhagenrp?
Brown and turquoise is my favorite color scheme for anything, so bonus points for you. This is another town roleplay that doesn’t seem to have any plot twists or anything to differentiate it from the rest, but the admins seem sweet and dedicated. Check them out guys!

opinion on screamthat-rp?
I like the theme and color scheme, it isn’t a typical color scheme for a horror roleplay and that’s refreshing. I don’t like that you made the credit link so small, but anyway. I think your plot could be longer, but your group’s not bad at all. Check them out guys!

Review for: Literary Hotel RP
Link: http://literaryhotel-rp.tumblr.com/
Please like this once you’ve seen it, and remember these are only my opinions based on my roleplay experience, please do not get offended by anything I may say. It’s is your decision how to run your group, and these are only suggestions.
Total: 87/100
Appearance:
First Glance: At first glance, I notice that it looks very clean and professional and very fitting of the classic story book plot that you have. However you have a lot of side links and other small things you could fix, but I'll get to that later. Over all my first impression isn't bad.
Theme: Themes like this are great for admins who are not experienced in graphic making or who do not have photoshop, and I know some people prefer themes like this to the newer kind- it could be nostalgia or the fact that some themes are very popular and over used but I do enjoy the one you're using.
Sidebar Graphic: I enjoy that you used a book in your sidebar, but don't feel pressured to use a gif, especially if it does not fit the dimensions. It's a common misconception that you have to use gifs and pictures with crazy textures and gradients to get people into your group, but a simple and well made sidebar graphic can be just as effective. I would suggest you try to find a photo, with correct dimensions that would work there. You could use a photo of on of your face claims, or even art from an old book like Alice in Wonderland or Chronicles of Narnia. Also, the title seems too large/off center. It looks as if it is almost being cut off.
Character Graphics: I noticed that you are using different graphics for different characters- that is something I like to see when you are using the same graphic for each character from one story. For example, the same graphic for characters from Little Women, and the same graphic for characters from Les Mis.
Also if you could use the gif you have in your sidebar on the graphic of the book they are from instead I think it would be a more effective use of it. Also, I think the turquoise looks off, perhaps switch it to a beige or blue/purple so it will visually.
Color Scheme: It's refreshing to see a color scheme that isn't monochromatic, though I am a fan of them and use them myself it does get tiring to look at. Rather your color scheme both fits the feel of your group and stand out from the norms of roleplays lately- it looks more mature.
Overall: 85/100
Links:
Navigation: The extra links on the side have always made mains look cluttered in my opinion. I'm an advocate for only having "Home", "Ask", "Navigation", and "Full Plot" on the side. All the extra links are what your navigation page are for! That being said- HALLELUJAH YOU HAVE AN ACTUAL NAVIGATION PAGE! I can't tell you how much I love these, they're so organized and professional looking, bonus points for you!
Rules: I love short and sweet rules, and I believe yours are, but they way you broke them up makes them look long and people may be less likely to read them. A would group all the rules that apply to activity together, and all the rules that apply to OOC conduct, etc.
Overall: 95/100
Writing:
Full Plot: I have seen rps based on story book characters, but I enjoy that you mixed classic characters with modern characters. I enjoy that fact that they are still characters in this world and their actions cause their stories to change, I just wish you would go more in depth with this since your plot seems quite short. I say longer is better, as long as you can keep your reader wanting more. I can tell from the little you've written that you have a witty sense of humor, so use more of that and it could work in your favor!
Character Bios: I always enjoy the modernization of older characters, but with that liberty you also have the right to change their story and use minor characteristics to make characters your own. I'd delve more into each character if I were you, give them some positive and negative personality traits and connections to other characters. Players love when they're provided with an in-depth look at characters.
Overall: 85/100
Misc.
FC’s: I love all of your FC's and I think they were chosen with great care, even though I see Crystal Reed as more of an Eponine and Holland Roden as a Cosette, I'm not even bothered by that because I love all the faces you have chosen so much.
Originality: I have seen storybook roleplays before, so it isn't the most original thing in the world- but it also isn't over done to where it's annoying.
Overall: 85/100
Overall/Would I Join: 87/100. This over all is pretty good, I would just god more in-depth in your plot and character bios, along with changing those few graphical things and you'll be great. I personally would not join, but not because if it's quality. I know many people that love roleplays like this, so keep with it!

Plot:
People from all around the world had the opportunity to join in on the Lawley Experiment, gaining $300,000 in return for allowing the experiment to be performed upon their children. The experiments were to have each child drink from a different flask that each contained a different type of chemical. The experiment was created to see if a new wave of scientists were on the break of something new and different. The scientists wanted to know if their new medicines would make people prone to diseases. But after each child took the medicine, they started to sense something wrong. They felt different and when their parents also noticed, they contacted the scientists. They didn’t want people to find out about their experiments so they sent them to Lawley Island. The parents of the children didn’t tell them the real reason as to why they were being sent there, they just said that it was going to be a vacation. As time passed on the island, their powers started to develop. The scientists didn’t know how to handle these powers since they had never witnessed them until now. These powers are the ones that you only dreamed of having when you were a child or ones that you’ve seen in movies. But here is one question that is worrying the scientists, will you use them for good or evil?

Hi. I was wondering what your opinion on OC rp's vs. bio rp's is? I am currently an OC rp, but I wonder sometimes if I was a bio if I'd get more apps, because my rp hasn't been getting very much attention at all when it comes to applicants.
I really think it’s down to the plot. I am a fan of both OC roleplays and bio roleplays, so I do not prefer one over the other. But like I said, it’s all down to the story and what you want to achieve in your group.
If the plot is more mature/in-depth I believe that it should be a bio roleplay because connections, plotting, and character development are key and bios make that possible.
However if you want to have a simple camp/high school/college/town based roleplay that is strong in character interaction, drama, and tasks then OC is the way to go.
I hope this helped/made sense!
