Is it okay if I can get a little more info about the community and I guess like the roleplay etiquette in the community? (Sorry, I’m autistic and the second time I peaked into here it was a drama post thing)

The community is basically “fuck it we ball” and do whatever we want, as this is all for fun

Roleplay etiquette is more of a situational thing based on how serious the rp is and what YOU want to do

You guys have really inspired me to make my own oc blog, but I'm not exactly sure how to start or what to do. Do you have any tips or advice for people starting out?

OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY THIS IS SO MY FORTE :))) hello anon!! i'm mod clover and my main xyz blog is actually an oc, and this ask REALLY excited me so i thought i'd be the one to share my knowledge!!! I'm going off the assumption you mean an OC XYZ Merc blog. If you just mean an OC blog in general, I guess these could also apply. just change the wording slightly. teehee :3 Okay so- My OC, Clover, is a self-insert, my own personality with a collection of interests and traits I like and admire. Creativity, a love for music and nature... That's an option! *Note that I do make sure to still keep it TF2-related even though she isn't like a cut-and-dry "TF2 OC" solely related to the game like another class or something. That's something key to keep in mind, that if you make some sort of "otherworldly" OC, that it relates to TF2 in a way that your audience can relate it to TF2. You could go all "history nerd" into it and look up what life was like in the time period TF2 takes place if you're not new to the roleplay scene.. People have some super creative ideas relating to it! :3 Clover is a human and border collie hybrid, I believe @emotionally-reptilian-beeber is part lizard.. Basing it around a creature or a common theme is also a good option! You could also make an OC based off one of the mercs/mercs' professions! I think that one may be the easiest actually, but do whatever speaks to you! It's all about gathering inspiration for the idea first, then deciding how you wanna develop the character. Tumblr and Pinterest are very good choices for character sheets, gear of a certain aesthetic if you so desire, weaponry... OH YEAH !!! Picking out a weapon if they're gonna be a merc is a great place to start!

At this point, we have no idea what to do about these people. We have like 5 medics. And double the amount of soldiers. We aren’t replacing anyone. We didn’t have anything to do with the creation of quiet Spycrab that is just a HUMAN BEING having fun on the internet. They saw something they liked, and they joined us. It wasn’t their fault that someone who left the server willingly decided that they had to be the only Spycrab. It’s not quiet crabs fault that the original Spycrab left. None of it was their fault, but they are getting the pain for it.

And they don’t deserve that. That is someone with thoughts and feelings. Someone with a life, dreams, and sorrows. Someone who found something, a community, that they wanted to add to, and got shot down for wanting to have fun, just like the rest of us.

We, the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual mercenaries are people. We are human beings. This is all for fun. If you have personal beef with someone, don’t take it public, don’t soil the name of an entire community because you find distaste with one.

There are people behind the screens. Behind the blogs. And they don’t deserve what you people are saying to them because a small group of people decided that one day a group THEY joined WILLINGLY with ZERO STRINGS attached wasn’t good enough for them.

Please, have some SEMBLANCE of humanity, because they are trying their very best.

Ok I just wanna fix up some confusion I have, does the tf2 blog have to be at least a month old, or the main blog of the person who owns the tf2 blog?

the tf2 blog itself since that's the one that'll be on the masterlist! we want them to kinda have some experience/lore/posts under their belts before we add 'em

obvs that means the tumblr acc/main has to be at least a month old, but the requirement for the masterlist is solely the tf2 blog you want on there
