The state of Colorado released 20 wolves as part of a restoration project of the local wildlife!! These wolves are extremely important — as apex predators, they’ll regulate the populations below them on the food chain, ensuring that prey species don’t overgraze and ruin vegetation.

Also, a rare giant pod of 1,500 Risso dolphins was spotted off the coast of California!! This is huge, as they normally travel in pods of only 10-30.
