Earthly Void AU

Blue is Jay, Teal is Nya, Red is Kai, Yellow orange is Skylor, and Black is infos

INFOS ABOUT IT:

• Cole is Born(Nihilumbra), but instead of whatever happened in the game, after he escaped the first crawlaggar, he found Jay boarding his jet and just jumps in it to escape

- Jay, initially panicked, takes pity and ends up unofficially adopting Cole like a weird, dangerous little brother

• the Earth element is technically lost in a way that after Lilly died, no successor was found

- Lilly and Lou never had a child by the way

• like the game, Cole can absorb color and each color corresponds to certain abilities

• The color comes from the elemental powers:

- red [Fire]: makes him able to burn or heat up

- orange: Earth element

- yellow orange [Amber]: absorbs energy

- green [Energy]: gives energy

- cyan [Water]: creates personal bubble shield

- light blue [Ice]: makes him able to slide on surfaces

- blue [Lightning]: makes him fast

• Cole cannot use two colors at once. His body glows the active color while using it.

• Cole is mute, communicates through gestures, his eyes, and sometimes mimicking what he wants(this is usually for food)

• When they found out Cole can control Earth, they have two theories on how:

- the Earth element chose him, despite being a voidling; or

- Cole just somehow absorbed some of it beforehand

• Cole can mimic shapes, but prefers staying a blob unless necessary.

- it's so he can hide in clothes, hoods, or sleeves (Jay’s in particular)

• Cole, by default, is the size of a tennis ball

• Cole doesn't really need sleep or food. But he does enjoy the idea or sleeping and eating

- Cole absorbs the food he's given

- yes, Cole "ate" things he wasn't supposed to

• Cole is technically genderless, but in a Crystal-Gems-kinda-way, he's male

• Wu refuses to touch Cole, because he is afraid on what ability Cole might gain from him

• speaking of Wu, he is… iffy about Cole being here

• anyways, like the game, the Void is trying to get Cole back and *insert danger and stuffs*

Thought of an AU last night, based on the game, Nihilumbra (never finished it, because I need to pay for a full version and I'm broke). Nothing much as of now, just thinking Cole as a small blob of void that bonds with Jay.

As all three of them grew up, Jay gradually becomes closer friends with Kai and drifted away from Cole.

I actually thought about this while watching the show and as the show progresses there are a lot less ‘bruise moments’ but if you consider Kai and Jay’s friendship to revolve around relentless teasing (as in the closer they are the harder they bully each other) then Kai and Jay must be pretty close.

Plus Jay never told Cole that he was going to propose to Nya!!!! Cole found out after he asked ‘what are you guys talking about’ and Kai was actually the one to tell him. Which makes me think that Jay doesn’t confide in Cole as much as he used to.

Also the fact that Kai goes on picnics with Jay and Nya doesn’t help the case

I've been having a streak of writing Malik(amnesiac!Jay in my own AU) x Cole oneshots and I'm curious...

Send ideas for their ship name too. Because all I can think of are Riftshipping and Shardshipping (because Malik have shattered memories and it's related to Cole's element)
