if voice actors are the souls of the characters they portray, would they have any memory of their previous lives?

It's so cool that you got to meet and hang with Jess! What were his answers to your questions? And did he do the Texas voice?
Hehehehe! He did do the Texas voice! Then promptly I accidentally fangirl squealed in front of him LOL it was great! Even better that he knew me by name too =///////u/////////=
So his answers were:
1) Texas would win because he can sing in a much wider range, in various styles of different rock groups. So he’d beat the Duke of Detroit by a long shot.
2) In his opinion, he’d see Texas’s parents as Frank and Estelle Costanza from Seinfeld. He inspired Texas’ voice from David Puddy (Elaine’s bf?). I looked him up and it totally is Texas.

Apr. 4th 2015
When I saw that Jess Harnell (Texas) was coming to a local Anime Convention, Anime Conji, I knew I had to go and meet the one and only King of Motorcity himself.
He’s such a down-to-earth guy. High energy and the sweetest! I handed him a small package of Motorcity Swag (all Texas related) including a short texie comic: “Old Flame”
Afterwards, he had a panel session, which was small and intimate. Majority of fans were there for Animaniacs nostalgia and Voice acting debuts but I got ask him a few Motorcity hypothetical questions, like:
“If Texas and the Duke of Detroit had a rock-off, who would win? (Bias aside)”
“If we were to meet Texas’ Parents in Season 2, how would they be like? (in his opinion).”
Also, reminded him that he needed to get his Texas hat and that “Engines & Parfaits” are proudly preserving the memory of Motorcity.

things you said in that awkward moment when your girl friend; (girl that is a friend) asks for Intercourse but doesn't know you're already bangin' your best friend (who's a guy)
[As per the scene set in this video]
Mike’s brain hadn’t quite processed Julie’s request. Either that or it refused to. Julie looked at the stunned Burner next to her in concern but, after a few minutes of awkward silence, her concern turned to annoyance.

Here's more Mike/Chuck goodness for you to enjoy! Happy holidays!
Drunken Cuddles
Recently, there had been a long stretch of peace in Motorcity, as well as a few birthdays among their friends, so the Burners took advantage of the calm and allowed themselves to relax.
On the weekend, it was Dutch’s own birthday and they decided to go all out for him. It was a small but lively event, with Tennie and a few other close friends getting invited to their HQ. Jacob had even offered some of his homemade beer as a gift to the group. Now, none of them were big drinkers, merely enjoying the occasional glass every once in a while, but on this occasion they all drank until they were pleasantly tipsy.
A new fluffy Mike/Chuck fic for your reading pleasure!
I dedicate this one to my lovely waifu, ricelily. Special thanks to zelterxc and stingdragon for giving me the idea and their feedback!

from the author of "It Happened One Night" and "Second Life"
Brings to you a very nsfw Mike/Chuck, "Muck" story about their first time together.
The First (But Certainly Not Last) Time
Tonight, the two of them would have sex for the first time.
Well, Chuck mused, maybe if you wanted to be technical they’d already had sex a few times but these were frantic handjobs during stolen moments of peace and quiet. Those barely counted. Tonight, however, they had all the time in the world to be intimate.
A new Mike/Chuck smut fic for your reading pleasure! Find the rest here.

I know I haven’t been posting much art, lately. But I’m seriously busting my chops on this new project. This is just a teaser. And it’ll be a long while before you can read this one.
All I can say about it; the sketches are finished and ready for refinement and it’s related to Motorcity.
Look forward to it in the future.

And that's a very good headcanon! If I were to be bold enough to write about how she viewed Mike and Kane's relationship from her perspective, it would be pretty similar to your description.
I agree that Julie would have lacked the courage to stand up to Kane in the beginning. And envious of Mike's relationship with her father. In my headcanon, I believe that Julie hated Mike out of jealous for a long, long time. He was her father's golden boy, the "favorite" sibling and Julie was the literal "unwanted redheaded" child. Funny how that worked out. lol
Anyway, then shit went south (literal and metaphorical) between Kane and Mike. They finally had some common ground between them. And it's always delightful to be talking about MC.
THANK YOU FOR FINALLY MAKING HER SAY IT! With what Julie said to Claire in Soliloquy I mean. That was always something I wish they brought up during the series, yes Claire likes the safety of Deluxe and the fun lifestyle of Amazon's down in MC too but she never addresses the idea of the city being destroyed by Kane when she's telling Julie to quit which is really important to her and the main reason she's a Burner so I was hoping they'd clash heads about it so BRAVO for filling the void :D
Well I’m glad that you’re enjoying it. You make a valid point about Claire’s mentality. From Claire’s perspective, she’s concerned about Julie’s well-being and she knows that what Julie is doing is really dangerous. Gotta give her] props for not ratting Julie out.
I love Claire just as much as I love Julie and I don’t want people to think that I’m trying to make either one to be a monster. Most people would easily see Claire as the apathetic/naive person who doesn’t really care about MC.
In the show they did bring up the issue in a round-about way in “Julie and the Amazons.
Julie: "funny, I’ve been trying to tell you for months. But apparently I didn’t have a cool enough wardrobe or haircut to make you listen." (translation: You’re too self-absorbed to listen to what I have to say.)
Claire also addresses Julie’s faults in what she’s doing too. Which is lying about who she is to both sides and her decision to participate in the “war.” (via Mike)
For the record, I do not support “jukebox” at all, but I love tugging on the string to stir up the tension.
It was implied in the argument that Mike was Julie’s initial reason she started to care about what happens in Motorcity and her father’s methods. (but of course, it’s only an observational headcanon.)
Claire: "You didn’t use to dress like that or talk about cars…then you met Mike and everything changed."
And you’re right, Julie and Claire would have clashed about it again more seriously if there was a second season. This was just how I imagined their argument would go. Lots of hurtful accusations and hurt feelings.
I promise that the final part will make up for all the grief [for the readers, of course.]

Exactly! Just specifying I'm not saying Claire deserved to be told off I just wanted to see this play out as you've done it. From Julies perspective it looks like her BFF doesn't care about the people of MC at all while it's super important to her but Claire really does care about Julies well being and doesn't want too see her get hurt. There was so much potential for a real emotional quarrel between close friends on a TV show and they flippin cancelled it!
oh okay, I gotcha. I would've wanted to see that scene play out too. I dunno if my little heart could handle it but I would have watched it. This is why doujinshi and fancomics exist, where as a show leaves, the fans pick up where they left off (ideally) :3

Just when you think it couldn't get any worse.
(please read Right to Left!)
These pages were a serious emotional drain. It just got progressively worse with each page. Not only did I rewatch the finale episodes and "Julie and the Amazons" for inspiration but writing the dialogue/script was incredibly difficult. We're almost at the end, hang in there :3
Enjoy the emotional roller coaster~

Please read: Right to Left
The Story takes place roughly 2-3 months after the Finale Episodes. Julie steps in and takes the reins while Kane recovers from his injuries. At the same time, Julie struggles to keep her inner turmoil at bay.
I've been working on this comic for since last year. I extended a few pages and refined the dialogue as well. I'm on a roll, so expect the second part real soon. Thank you and Enjoy.
