I remember in 2018, I looked at ATLA again. I searched up Zuko x Sokka out of curiosity

(didn't ship it, but I was searching up multiple ships-- just because-- and then just thought "what if?").

I was surprised to see that there was only like like... 1 or 2 fanarts and like... not many pages on AO3...

(for reference: the fics with Zukka last by Dec 2018 only made 16 pages on AO3--

that isn't even counting if the fics were soley Zukka or not

FOR 2020 ALONE, THERE ARE 57 PAGES ON AO3 OF JUST ZUKKA FICS)

Anyways, was a bit shocked because it seemed exactly like the ship dynamic that would be popular--

but then again, the Zutara and Kataang wars were more active than many other ship stuff in ATLA at all,

though JetKo seemed to have a small but noticeable audience.

By then, the ATLA fandom wasn't as active but the show still had an impact of course.

Then...
