Butcher Vanity by Vane Lily feels like it is of the Flesh. (Though one could probably make an argument for the Slaughter.)
That song is the most flesh coded I have ever seen, it's like if tma30, killing floor, and tma78, take away, had a cursed baby. This song feels like it made made by someone of the Han family.
It's just so fleshy that I could probably find all of the flesh manifestations in it!
Tumblr media
Meat:
"Oh, to dress your flesh up with the works" "Until I've got you flayed alive"
Corpses:
Why would I desecrate a carcass? Rigor mortis, mold, and mildew I need to be your afterlife
Blood:
Tasting 血淋淋的爱 Aortic work of art Oh, blood and viscera divine
Bones:
No direct bone mentions :(
but:
To snap the sinew
is kind of a bone reference as a sinew is a piece of tissue connecting muscle to bone or bone to bone
Butchers:
I mean that one's in the title, but also
Until I've got you flayed alive (To flay something is to remove the skin from an animal or person, usually when they are dead which a butcher would so) Carves a cut to simply die for  Butterfly and rectify you (In butchery, butterflying transforms a thick, compact piece of meat into a thinner, larger one)
Meat-Industry:
Preserved and primed
Cannibalism:
the whole song really but lyrics like:
I wanna slit your throat and eat 'till I get sick! Oh, to dress your flesh up with the works Perfectly portioned by a dagger Serving the finest leftover dessert I'll devour all of you in time
say it directly
Also: I could see why you would think about the slaughter with it being mentioned so much, but to me the slaughter is just killing for the sake of killing and the slaughter in this song clearly has a deeper purpose (meat is you) Also also: love the religious and "romantic" undertones of this, cannibalism as a sign of devotion my beloved <3 It also makes the song much more interesting from a narrative point of view so yeah :)

OK BUT JUST A LITTLE BY MXMTOON IS SO MARTIN BLACKWOOD CODED
Always good at understanding,
Always try to keep the peace,
Standing in your shoes for so long,
I've forgotten all of me.
...
Hold it in, can't say I'm not civil,
Breathing out till the storm starts to settle,
Can I lose my cool just a little?
...
Feel so much till I feel nothing,
Feel nothing.
DO YOU GUYS SEE MY VISION?????

tma song take of the day
Little Dark Age
“Forgiving who you are, for what you stand to gain, Just know that if you hide, it doesn’t go away.” That is so Jon! Jon struggles to reconcile with how inhuman he is becoming but he knows that ignoring it won’t stop it from being true. He has to forgive who he is in order to do anything about it (even though he’s still helpless either way).
“If you get out of bed and find me standing all alone, Open-eyed, burn the page, my little dark age.” This reminds me of Martin finding Jon sleeping with his eyes open in Upton House.
“Bring a stone, all the rage, my little dark age.” Everyone is so eager to condemn Jon that he just expects and allows it. He lets Melanie stab him, he accepts that Basira wishes he had died after the coma, everyone blames him for the apocalypse… yet Jon is the one to throw the last stone at himself. He condemns himself by going against his friends and martyring himself.

More TMA x Crane Wives because Hollow Moon is also about Jonathan Sims.
Maybe I'll go assign every character a Crane Wives song, should I do that?

Liquid Smooth by Mitski?
I've heard this song be associated with toxic beauty standard and sexualizing yourself while in your "prime", so being pretty wasn't for nothing, and that is honestly also what I think about when I listen to it.
Now beauty standards and fetishization/sexualization is very Flesh-coded to me, though it is often a result of societies endless manipulations. But the mentions of being "ripe, about to fall" and "in your prime", as well as "take my picture 崩れてゆく前に [before I collapse/crumble/fall apart]" are all about time passing and the eventuality of this "prime" being over way too soon which feels like the end to me

Nowhere to go by Bad Omens - and why it's so Michael Shelley coded
The song begins with the singer lamenting about something like this always happening to them, that they didn't learn from their mistakes, and claiming they should have known.
To me this is Micheal going over all the 'adventures' he had been through with Gertrude, recounting that they never end well for the person interacting directly with an entity, but still stepping through the distortion's door.
Blood signed, we made a pact Yours dried up, you took it back
is what the song continues with. These lyrics specifically remind me of Distortion!Micheal saying "he trusted her and she fed him right to me" when recounting his past. They feel like what Micheal would have said to her if they would have ever met after he had been turned
Now the lyrics that made me immediately think of Micheal:
And you know you are a paradox and you contradict The road you walk, everything that you ever did
"You" in that case being the distortion that Micheal then saw in those endless hallways.
Cutting into my code erasing everything I know
The effect of the hallways on Micheal's mind and/or the beginning of him merging with the distortion is what always comes to my mind at these lyrics.
Then we move to the chorus which is, in my mind, the very essence of what Micheal would scream at Gertrude if he could.
Starting off with an ironic "Hear me out, I'm sorry, but I'm a little less than sold" he makes him disdain about her plan clear.
I've been around, heard all the stories you said you never told You're used to speaking in tongues to feel like you're in control
If I'm being honest I hear "you'd never do" instead of "you never told" every time which fits my narrative more, but either way these lyrics speak to Gertrude's manipulation of everyone around her and how Micheal finally understood, but only when it was too late.
The last two lines of the chorus only really apply if Micheal every managed to track down and kill Gertrude, but I think they show his anger well even if he never did.
Now you've got nowhere to run, now you've got nowhere to go
The second chorus could be more of Micheal's transformation, but feels like the distortion wanting to do what's in its nature but being redirected by Micheal's want for revenge.
I feel my focus fading away, I had high hopes Running from the man that I used to be, but I'm too slow Blood signed, we made a pact Yours dried out, you took it back
In this case the Distortion is loosing focus and being too slow to "[run] from the man [it] used to be" by letting Micheal who is a part of it now stay so invested in everything going on at the Magnus Archives and especially by letting Micheal free Jon and tell him his story.
This inner conflict of whose choice anything is, is made clear by the repetition of the lyric:
Tell me what's mine and tell me what's yours Why I never got a say, never got a choice
This is both Micheal lamenting how he never had a choice becoming the distortion, but also the distortion question how much Micheal's past is still in control of their action.
Additionally, it could also be blaming Gertrude for what happened to them. This angrier interpretation would also lend well to the fact that after some repetition the next lyric "And why I never got a fucking say? Oh" is being screamed.
Also screamed are the last lyrics before the chorus repeats:
Are you ready? I'm in the driver's seat now
This could be the distortion gaining more control back by becoming Helen, threatening Jon with the "are you ready?" but could also in another Universe be Micheal, gaining full control over his distortion powers, threatening Gertrude.
Either way, the chorus repeating after is Distortion!Micheal telling his story to Jon.
But if you wanted a general entity instead of this very specific Micheal Association, I would say this song is mostly Web-coded. Ignoring the one line about being a paradox, this line is about being manipulated and having to live with the consequences, like a typical victim of the web.

Thank you so much! I love questions like these ^^
Title and artist is what l've been seeing in my
inbox so far, but if you have a link that just
makes things easier
I will except songs with no lyrics but be aware
that I know nothing about music theory, so it will
just be based of vibes
I love both, it just depends on how motivated I
am that day on which ones I will do first xD
But please send in both, tricky ones can be
quite fun :]
Bonus Info:
You didn't ask, but I felt I should specify
somewhere:
1) english is not my native language so please
excuse any spelling. grammar or vocabulary
mistakes
and
2) l'm just doing this whole thing for fun, I'm not
trained in literary analysis in anyway at all
Song Analysis
I made this account so I could share my thoughts about most of my favorite songs and how I relate them to tma ^^
I'll first go through my most listened playlist and just shuffle for whatever song I'll be "analysing" next, after that I'd love some asks <3
Inspiration
This was inspired by @entities-of-posts who I follow on my main and just absolutely love, but also just my brain screaming "tma coded" at most of my songs ^^
