A behind the scenes look at our lighting setup out in Malibu. (Check out my feed for the resulting photos.)The @broncolor Siros L gave me all the power I needed to freeze the cyclists mid ride, and they have a ton of range as well, which allowed me to drastically lower the power as we chased the fading ambient light. Last week I was invited to attend a private launch event for the new Hasselblad H6D in Manhattan at Highline Stages. They pulled out all the stops with multiple sets, models and the new cameras on hand to try out. I was even more excited that they collaborated with a fellow active lifestyle photographer, Tom Oldham, to create the launch campaign images. It's a perfect example of how this is the first medium format camera that will be able to keep with with the demands of my genre and style of shooting. Can't wait to get my hands on one again!
