i’m rewatching arcane and just watched the AU episode in season 2 and i know Vi will never know but how fucking awful that one of the key things that had to happen in order for life to be good and peaceful and as perfect as life can be was for a child to die. imagine learning that the world would literally be a better place if you were dead. you died so hextech was never created and Piltover and Zaun were able to coexist peacefully.
but like. how many times do you think Vi has thought that she would be better off dead and then reevaluated because she had to look after mylo and claggor and powder, so no matter how sad or useless she might feel she has so live. even after mylo and claggor and vander die, living is her only option because she has to find powder again. but the AU proves that wrong. they are truly better off without her. the world is a better place with her dead. and that fucking hurts.

thinking about this all the time BUT in aot season 4 when the scouts get to marley the warriors talk about levi and they say “is that ackerman” and then refer to mikasa as “the other ackerman”
do you think that mikasa ever gets pissed at being referred to as the “other ackerman”. because i personally would not let that slide. like yes levi is older but he learned that he was an ackerman like 2 seconds ago (it was years later at that point bc ~time skip~ but shhhhh the point still stands) and she has been one her whole life. i’d be there like um actually if anyone is the “other ackerman” it would be him bitch. i’ve BEEN the ackerman

nah you’re right i was just pissed off when i made the post yesterday. i agree that it’s also in getos pov considering that there is a decent chunk in which gojo isn’t even present. ive just seen waaayyy to many tiktoks claiming that it was all gojos dream only for them to turn around and also claim that the breakup scene was from getos pov which doesnt make any sense to me. im mostly just upset because, as i said in the tags, people seem to use the hidden inventory scene as “proof” that geto loved him less and it rubs me the wrong way
alittle confused about the jjk fandom saying the kfc break up from hidden inventory was getos pov (shown in bright and vibrant colors) while the jjk0 kfc breakup was gojos pov (shown in shadows and darkness) because like. i thought we established that hidden inventory was all gojos dream. it was him dreaming about his youth, that’s why the flashbacks were colored bright and happy and then the rest of the season in the current timeline goes back to the original more muted color scheme. because he’s remembering his time in highschool fondly. so both versions of the kfc breakup are in gojos pov. if we need a reason for them being colored differently we could say that his dreams of geto and their youth have more color and happiness because in a dream you’re not conscious and thus can’t remember how the “dreams” pan out in the end while memories are tainted with the knowledge of what happens after. but they were both his point of view.

i like when media has two characters and you can tell that they have some sort of found familial relationship to eachother but they kind of blur the lines of what particular role they fill
like with megumi and gojo for example. a lot of people put them into a father-son dynamic but i prefer when they have more of a brother-uncle-nephew thing going on. like they act like siblings but they also have some authority thing going on but it’s too casual to be a parent child dynamic.
or i read a shinsou and aizawa fic once (You Want it Darker by ms_chunks. shinsou and aizawa Fic Of All Time i love it so much) and they had such an interesting dynamic. they were simultaneously best friends but also like brothers but also had an uncle-nephew thing going on but also acted like father and son in a lot of situations while still being mentor and mentee. and it was so intriguing and delightful to read because it made them work so well together but also caused issues when they couldn’t tell which role they were trying to or needed to fill in any given moment.
because the thing about the found family dynamic is that it is something that is naturally occurring and because of that you can’t always find someone to fill each role perfectly. so when they do find each other, find someone that they are finally comfortable with after years of being closed off, of course they wouldn’t want to open themselves up to even more people. not when this one person is enough. so they fill a variety of roles and it makes sense. because at the end of the day it’s just all about love and the people that you trust so the formal names for each role don’t matter.

so far my feelings on brotherhood are like when you read a book (in this case the ‘book’ being 03) and love it and then watch the movie and while the movie adaptation is good you wonder why they made such small changes and it irks you. like if you’d watched the movie first you know you would have loved it but you didn’t and now you can’t stop comparing.

on season 2 of naruto and one thing that i love is that they really are not letting the accidental season 1 kiss go. both sasuke and naruto have thought of it in life or death moments. like it could have easily been something that happened and then is never referenced again but no. it comes up a lot. they are never beating the allegations…

love that one scene in season 3 where rod reiss turns into a titan and they come up with a plan to defeat him buy throwing explosives down his throat and someone just goes “uh hey what if he doesn’t have a mouth?” and everyone went “… i-. well-. i’m sure he has one… hopefully…” and then he did in fact have a mouth but i think that was the first time ever that a plan actually worked out for the scouts without something absolutely bonkers coming in from left field great day
