About Lindsay White:
You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll call your therapist. With influences ranging from Bob Dylan to Ani DiFranco, Lindsay White's (she/her) songwriting has earned recognition from Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Kerrville Folk Festival, and American Songwriter. Her latest record Lights Out debuted #2 on the iTunes Singer-Songwriter charts, was named #1 Album of the Year by Global Texan Chronicles, and earned her a San Diego Music Award for Best Singer-Songwriter. Subsequent singles "The Hound" and "The Funeral" also debuted #13 on the same iTunes chart, the latter earning a 2020 San Diego Music Award nomination. White was recently named one of "15 Lesbian/Bi/Queer Musical Artists You Need to Know" by AfterEllen.com. She has opened for notable acts such as The Lone Bellow, David Crosby, Steve Poltz, Susanna Hoffs (The Bangles), Raining Jane ft. Jason Mraz, and more.

He will take you through three two-hour exploration sessions on May 6, 13, and 20 and reveal practical tips for creating marvelous and unforgettable characters for your short stories.

Meet with Reference librarians from the San Diego Law Library on Thursday, April 18, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Adult Services Business Center.
Reference librarians from the San Diego Law Library will be on site on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Adult Services Business Center (next to the Information Desk) to guide you to resources to better understand and research common legal issues, assist with using the new legal databases, show you free legal websites, and make referrals to legal aid organizations.
Law Librarians cannot give you legal advice or perform legal research for you, but if you need to research a legal issue or are just curious about the law, they can guide you to resources and show you how to use them.

The trio combines a deep love of Brazilian music with American pop and jazz music creating a style uniquely their own. Their music is influenced by greats like Chick Corea and Sergio Mendes.
