NOT AN EXPERT...NOT A GURU...JUST A MOTIVATOR I gained a lot of weight in 2008...which I deemed the worst year of my life. From that time, I have tried everything to get that weight off of me. I tried diet pills...I tried the master cleanse...and then I got lazy and stopped exercising. I have joined a gym...then stopped. I never improved my eating habits. I kept giving up. Now...its time for me to stop making excuses and start living a healthy lifestyle that I can pass down to my grandchildren. I am not an expert on health, fitness, and nutrition. I am not an exercise guru neither. I am just a normal girl who wants to share my success story in weight loss and motivate others in my situation.

I've learned to have Patience with this weight loss. I have battled with my weight for six years. For the past month of March, I have been working hard and I am now 144lbs. Only 14lbs shy of my weight loss goal. It was not easy. I had my slip ups with food here and there. I manage to stay away from soda. Tomorrow, it will be 30 days that I am alcohol free (made a promise to myself to drink until June). I am working hard but still need to keep on working much harder. I never thought I will have to battle with my weight like this. When I was growing up, I have saw my aunts having a difficult time losing their weight to the point that they have given up. I have an addiction to @food_for_life Ezekiel breads and brown rice tortillas. I use to consume a lot of white bread and it started to not be appetizing after awhile. Ezekiel Bread is sprouted grains from natural harvest. Food For Life brand has the highest selling sprouted grain breads. For breakfast, I love making French toast with the Cinnamon Raisin bread. I normally buy the Low Sodium Ezekiel Bread. The Brown Rice tortillas are delicious with tuna fish and spinach.
