🇮🇹Il blu della Grotta Azzurra è dovuto a un secondo ingresso sottomarino che filtra la luce dai colori rossi. Così passano solo le cromie blu che riflettono sul fondale e danno alle acque la famosa tonalità. Pensa che i primi turisti restavano talmente affascinati che rubavano al mare di Capri un po’ di quel colore, credendo di riuscire a custodirlo in bottiglie di vetro.

Bogliasco 🔱

Cattedrale di Nola ⛪

🇮🇹È conosciuta come “città bruniana” per aver dato i natali al filosofo Giordano Bruno e anche come “città dei gigli” per la secolare Festa dei Gigli che si tiene annualmente nel mese di giugno e che nel dicembre 2013 è stata riconosciuta patrimonio immateriale dell’umanità dall'Unesco.

Forte Filippo 🏰

🇮🇹Il Forte Filippo è una fortificazione costiera realizzata nel 1558 per migliorare il sistema difensivo dello Stato dei Presidi. Il suo nome fu scelto in onore di re Filippo II di Spagna. Il Forte fu costruito con quattro bastioni ed è profondamente incassato in un fossato scavato nella roccia. L'unico punto di accesso è rappresentato da un ponte levatoio.

🇬🇧Forte Filippo is a coastal fortification built in 1558 to improve the defensive system of the Presidi State. Its name was chosen in honor of King Philip II of Spain. The Fort was built with four bastions and is deeply embedded in a moat carved into the rock. The only access point is represented by a drawbridge.

Spiaggia dell'Arcomagno 🔱

🇮🇹La piccola spiaggetta dell’Arco Magno è nota come spiaggia di Enea ed è caratterizzata da una forma mezza luna, estesa per circa 25 metri, che la rende un vero paradiso terrestre.

Centuripe 🍃

🇮🇹Nei primi anni ‘60 fu ritrovato nel territorio della città un asckos, un vaso schiacciato, risalente al V secolo a. C. Oggi questo vaso è conservato al Museo archeologico di Karlsruche, in Germania, e riporta l'iscrizione in Siculo più lunga esistente.

Carnevale 🎭

🇮🇹Una delle ipotesi sull'origine è da ricercarsi nell’antica tradizione pagana. Durante il periodo dei Saturnali che hanno poi dato origine alla festa, si era soliti sovvertire ogni tipo di gerarchia invertendo così i ruoli imposti dalla società. Il povero per una volta poteva tramutarsi in ricco e viceversa. Un'altra ipotesi, invece, ha un'origine più arcaica: si dava modo allo spirito dei defunti di fare festeggiamenti sfrenati in cambio di abbondanti raccolti. Proiettandola ai giorni nostri, invece, mascherarsi indica un modo per uscire dal quotidiano, disfarsi del proprio ruolo sociale, negare sé stessi per divenire altro.

During the period of the Saturnalia which then gave rise to the festival, it was customary to subvert any type of hierarchy, thus reversing the roles imposed by society. 🇮🇹L’Altare della Patria si trova in realtà all’interno del monumento, dov’è custodita la salma del Milite ignoto. Una tomba eretta a memoria perenne di un Soldato senza volto e senza nome morto in battaglia. Dal 1925 questo giovane sconosciuto è preso a rappresentanza dei 650.000 caduti della Grande Guerra e di tutti coloro che si sono sacrificati per amore della Patria.

A tomb erected in perennial memory of a faceless and nameless Soldier who died in battle. Val Montanaia 💭
