Spent an amazing weekend #camping Fry Ck. with 19 #boys and #men. We have been gathering for about a year now with the intention to build a strong enough bond to provide a #ritesofpassage / #comingofage experience for #Kaslo & Area #youth. We’ve decided to take ourselves and a couple older #teens through a 1-year journey first, culminating toward a 1-4 day #fast #sweatlodge and #solo #wilderness quest. This will prepare us to offer this journey in a year to the greater #community OUR #MISSION - A community of men guiding local youth on an #empowering journey into being response-able, connected individuals. The Pros and Cons of a #coaching call with Brodie Whitney -Pro: After distracting myself a bit from working solely on my #sitcom pilot script, Brodie pushed me to perform my #powermove several times which helped me awaken my #warrior and step into my #king (and the other members of my roundtable alliance). We opened a dialogue between the #alliance members about who/what caused me to lose sight of my #purpose (Apparently my Worrier got #worried [so typical] and thought he needed to take control. Turns out the King had his shit together so there was nothing to worry about). After the call I worked on my script for 2 hours straight. Then this morning I worked on the script for three more hours, got it to a good place and sent that first draft to a writing partner of mine for feedback. It's really exciting to see a script I'm so #passionate about coming #together. -The Slightly Less #Pro of a coaching call with Brodie: I had to explain to my roommate why I was #growling like a lion. #awakenyourking #facingdragons

I simply cannot go on as I have in the past. It would cost me everything - all my energy. I step (and am carried) forward into a new way of being. I release the #Pleaser - #Achiever ... the part of me that, in the past, felt I needed to prove myself (my worth/value) to the world. I now peacefully and gratefully shift my internal focus to #Curiosity #Compassion #Caring and #BeingMyself. I feel a deep #relief and a sense of #healing along with a rise of #newenergy being restored into my body. To try and prove myself is a #lie that I am done with. I open to the #truth of #whoIam now.
