Flat pay vs hourly pay: - Flat pay orsimply Flat, means being payed a set predetermined amount for a mission, while hourly pay refers to being payed per hour the mission takes. This is used on both sides of Mammon, to rank up mission prizes and keep payment of members low.

Civi: civillians, often also used for non combatant mafiosi

Flame juice: a term for the overall flame power one can still produce without falling to fatigue

Being Wonky: being so overworked you inevitably start to have physical performance issues

to detonate the kitchen: cause more unnecesary destruction and work that will effect everyone else

Rule 67: The Varia Rule tho kill yourself if captured by the enemy

to seek Sister Dr. Luss: the unhealthy behavior of seeking unprofessional therapy among colleges

to smoke on flame: engage in unhealthy, destructive behavior out of stress

Mainatee/Maintenenceer: the term used for workers that are in charge of keeping maintenance at Varia HQ, as this is being done by a seperate organisation and not Varia members. "Housekeeping" is usually a way of insult for these workers and highly frowned upon by other varia members.

to be redpenned: getting your pay reduced by mammon because of trivial matters

to be blackpenned: getting your pay reduced because of your own behavior/faults

no love in the varia, no blindfold in the kitchen: refers to the concept of how holding any form of romantic relationship while in the varia is as senseless as cooking while blindfolded. Sure, some can do it, some have no issues with it at all, but most will cause only chaos and destruction.

to send someone to mammon (for blackmarketing): a threat/warning that lies on actual fact that Mammon does tend to use members that need to be disposed of for blackmarket purposes (selling organs, flesh, blood, etc.)

to boombox oneself: do something so incredibly stupid that it's almost comical and impressive, like triggering a bomb box out of curiosity

to tango with flies: getting caught up with a very convoluted and unnecesary scheme/tactic, instead of following a concrete plan

to need a nailgun: being disarmed and in need of a weapon/having to improvise weapons from your surroundings

I have to go with Trapped for my fav piece of PUBLISHED Felix media.

One, it was a lot of fun to write! Two! IT MADE ME A BUNCH OF FRIENDS! I also really liked in one of the follow ups getting to dive into Nathalie's POV. She wasn't one that I am used to writing (Felix seems to be my default MLB POV, followed by Adrien.) I really enjoyed getting into the Isolation of it. How that impacted Felix, and how that ultimately led the narrative that came after it. I have a follow up (I know I know) that is in the works that deals with Emilie and has some Amelie perspective sprinkled in that I am excited about.

My second Fav thing I have written is My Body Is A Cage and not just for the Johnny Cash refs sprinkled throughout it.

Cage was written in a direct response to fandom harassment towards one of my dear friends. I wrote it from Adrien's perspective because I really wanted to get into the ideas presented by the Amok - namely agency. Adrien of all the Sentibeings we see that has the least amount of agency but also the least amount of knowledge about his lack of agency. So I basically took it to the WORST possible extreme with the worst possible person finding out about it. (But I gave him a kid, because Dad Adrien fills my soul with joy) I also gave him a recovery arc, which is still ongoing. (Lord grant me time once school starts.)

My third fav is purely self indulgent: Reverse Felix

There's a theme here somewhere about putting characters through absolute hell and not letting them have a good time. But I gave him Luka and Luka fed him! SO. He's not a completely miserable puppy. He's just a mostly miserable puppy. I really enjoyed getting to explore a Felix that was just completely different than canon and bouncing him off Adrien. It was a lot of fun to write and explore.

My Four is ALSO self indulgent to the max:

Sentibug my beloved! Felix my darling! Put the two of them together and on a mission to save the Kwami. Plus Sick Duusu! This was just fun to write and explore. Plus I love exasperated Marinette who is just Done With All Of Felix's Bull. It's such a fun Lens to put her through because she just DOES Not know what Felix is gonna do and the chaos makes her cranky. She doesn't get to be cranky enough. Let Marinette be annoyed at the bullshit she gets thrown at 2024!

My fifth hasn't been published yet. It's been a labor of love and trying to get the plot to behave but I have written an ending and my beloved @ninadove is going to redpen it soon. Tentatively titled "Eat Your Young" (By the amazing @luckychatons) the premiss is that Colt decides his hatred for Felix is greater than his jealousy of Gabriel - and he's not content for Felix to gain freedom in his death. So he gives Gabriel the Amok.
