Harry Potter Canon Call

Haha, I miss my friends and everyone I care about.

HP Kin: Tom Marvolo Riddle (I have loads of HP kins, but this is who I’m looking for canonmates from right now)

Bodily Age: 20 (please no one younger than 16/17 if you’re kin with the same people I was friends with and no one younger than 18 if you’re kin with the same person(s) I was romantically or sexually involved with)

Who I’m looking for (all timelines): Abraxas Malfoy, Walburga Black, Orion Black, Cygnus Black, Septimus Weasley, Druella Rosier, or really just anyone who remembers being apart of the Knights of Walpurgis or friends with me.

Who I’m looking for (some timelines): Merope Gaunt (if you remember being a single parent to your son, Tom, or rasing him with a Pureblood Tom Riddle Sr) and Tom Riddle Sr (again, if you remember raising your son, Tom, with Merope Gaunt). Probably about 99.99999% of timelines I grew up in the orphanage alone, but there were a very small handful where Merope Gaunt survived and raised me (within the orphanage, they hired her as a cook) or where Tom Riddle Sr was a pureblood and actually loved Merope so they raised me together. Damien (I don’t remember his last name, more information below).

Who I’m not looking for (any timelines): Albus Percival Wilfric Brian Dumbledore and Gellert Grindlewald. Also, while I doubt anyone kins her, I definitely don’t want to be contacted by any Ms. Cole (matron of Wool’s Orphanage). If you’re a sourcemate Dumbledore or Grindlewald, then I won’t care as much if you interact or want to chat. I just don’t want any of the ones from my timelines contacting me.

Timelines (since I have loads):

I dated Cygnus (sometimes Cygnalia or Cygnilia) Black in a lot of timelines as well as the before mentioned Damien and some other non-canons as well. Damien was a muggle, but the other non-canons I dated were magical. In about half the timelines I dated Cygnus, he was a gay man but when it was Cygnalia or Cygnilia I dated, she was a transgirl! Regardless of the timeline, Cy had lovely parents! Damien never had parents and grew up in the orphanage with me while the non-canons changed based on each timeline.

Walburga was pretty much always a plus sized lesbian Queen who loved Druella. Walburga was one of my best friends, though she could get overly motherly at times. Druella was really sweet, but I don’t remember a whole lot about her right now. I do believe she had two sisters in most of my timelines. Their names might have been Lily and Tobi but I can’t remember. One if them was a staight ally and really feminine while the other played quidditch and was a tomboy.

Abraxas toed between being my best friend, QPP, and someone I dated a in a couple timelines as well. A few timelines we were sexually but not romantically involved. If we didn’t end up together permanently, he usually ended up in an arranged marriage with a girl named Matilda who I don’t believe went to Hogwarts.

Orion was a very swell yet very gay guy who was in love with one of Druella’s cousins? named Alex. I think they were cousins anyways. Orion was very supportive of me, like everyone else, but wasn’t as outgoing at the rest of us to my knowledge.

Septimus was a Gryffindor (everyone else above was either in Slytherin or no house) and a really great friend. He usually married a ravenclaw girl named Artemis. I think she was part of the Sayre family but can’t remember.

(Extra: In a couple lifetimes, Rubeus Hagrid and I got along and bonded over Magical Creatures. We weren’t extremely close but he was chill. Minerva McGonagal and I often had a budding rivalry in all of our classes to see who would be at the top. I never killed Myrtle Warren and honestly didn’t know her too well but I did try to be nice to her. I didn’t see much of a reason not to; she was just an insecure kid like most of us were. I didn’t get along well with the Lestrange brothers in my year and don’t really want to find them, tbh. I don’t remember their first names, but it wasn’t Rabastian and Rodolphus because those are the Lestrange brothers in the Marauders’ era not mine. The Knights and I weren’t the same as source when it comes to our beliefs. In fact, we sort of had a punk like movement of “Pureblood Supremacy is a Lie.” Our main focus was putting in place Magical Orphanages for witches, wizards, and magical creatures alike as well as putting a stop to abuse of all magical beings. We wanted to make society more fair and just overall better.)

Little PSA

Tbh I am really sick of people who kin for fun because it’s “trendy” and “cool.” I am also really sick of any and all kinnies that say there is a right and wrong way to kin because that is not the case. Nothing in this world or any other is black and white outside of being dead. Because newsflash, real spiritual kins take their kins and past/current/future lives very seriously. Remembering the bad is hard but remembering the good, even very little good, is it’s own reward. Having these identities and knowing that there will be something more after this life, that it doesn’t just end with death, is a wonderful thing. Being kin is not “trendy” or “cool;” it is not a community people should be inviting themselves into to be different, unique, or more than just a fan of a show. And while kin can be fun and have loads of inside jokes and fun things like kin assigning people, that is not the point nor should it be the reason or part of the reason that someone is kin. Relating to a character and liking them does not make them a kin, that is a synpath. Making up memories for timelines because that’s what you want/wanted to happen is not kin and is also very invalidating to real people who truly kin as well, to a lesser extent, to real people that have true copinglinks. The real truth? Shit happens in this life and others. Things were different then 99% of the time, the person was a different one then 99% of the time. People change, situations change, the world is completely new. As for the whole “shipping” nonesense, that is only a term that should be left for someone’s fanbase that isn’t a kin source. Real spiritual kin do not choose their timelines, their kins, nor do they decide to say they were with someone or two people were because “uwu the ship is cute.” That is not how it is. And you know what? Who is anyone to say that any relationship is bad just because it would be in source? People’s lifetimes aren’t determined by what we know as the source material for those kintypes. That’s why there are non-canon kins and canon-divergent kins because things were different for them. Them being bad in this life is what matters, not having been before. I choose to get to know people now and focus on the present when it comes to judging people. Always.

So, yall can have your pointless discourse and drama that only hurts people and doesn’t help anyone besides your selfish selves. You can have fun flipping on each other at the drop of a hat because you all have nothing better to do with your lives than sit on your device and bully random people on the internet just because you think there is a right and wrong way to kin. Because, to be quite honest, aside from being really annoyed with all the bullshit, I literally could not care less. I have three amazing partners that I care for who count on me and a whole host of friends that love and care about me as I do them that are far more important than any drama. I am no stranger to the block button and I don’t give a single fuck how many accounts you make or how many callout posts, those who care about me will always be there and your words hold nothing on me. I know who I truly am, who I was, and who I will be.

Tldr; if you think that there is a right way to kin and a wrong way or that people, even spiritual kins, choose their kins and timelines, get off my fucking page. If you kin for fun because it’s “trendy” and “cool” and believe in anyway that any spiritual kinners are invalid or wrong or bad or evil or all of the above because they had a few unsavory timelines, get the fuck off my page. I will not “hear” you out, I will not listen to run your ignorant mouths, I will not put up with any bullshit. I will block and that will be the end of it. I have much better things to do than sit here and listen to little children and adults that act like little children run their mouths at me because they don’t want to comprehend spiritual kin. A friend on my Knights of Walpurgis server, Kronos, brought this to me and had this to say:

“that storm guy though? has serious problems. like, he said all religions are bullshit also. as well as calling the staff of a different server f*ggots, because he was put into time out. and the pedo thing is super messed up, because he just gave out the girl’s full names, since it was on facebook. and they got added by thousands of creeps, asking for nudes and shit. and i brought that proof to the lightwarrior server staff and they were like "lmao that’s photoshopped” and i got pissed and left, but storm dm’d me like “i can’t believe you’d leave without hearing my opinion! btw trans people are misgendering themselves and you have no discernment! i’m actually glad you left!!”“

They (Kronos) were not able to get to get screencaps from the staff’s actually responses in the staff room, but the fact that they let this guy stay is bad enough in itself. I don’t know if Storm is kin or not, but to everyone who sees this, do not let him into your server if you’re at all a respectable and accepting person. Opening up the way for pedos to get girls’ information and misgendering a transgirl saying that she’s actually misgendering herself is just downright wrong and anyone who agrees with him should promptly never come to this blog ever again.

Also, I do not give a single fuck if he’s "joking around,” those are wrong things to do and say, end of story.

Why ‘female-presenting nipples’ matter

When I was 10, my mom made me wear a bra and it felt like a punishment for being different.

When I was 10, I took the bra off when changing for gymnastics and accidentally dropped it in the school hallway. A teacher picked it up and said, “Oh, this must belong to you” and handed it back to me in front of everyone. I quit gymnastics.

When I was 11, I thought maybe the boobs would be okay so long as they didn’t get any bigger than would fit in my hand, so I kept measuring it, but they did.

When I was 12, I started wearing two or three sports bras to smush them down, until one day a classmate said, “Are you wearing two bras?!” while laughing.

When I was 13, a boy told me he wanted to squeeze my boobs “until they popped.”

When I was 14, I got cast in a play as an older character and a classmate told me I got the role because I had boobs.

When I was 17, my mom told me to return a swimsuit because it would be too distracting for my boyfriend’s father.

When I was 21, I got properly fitted for a bra and everyone felt the need to tell me how much better my boobs looked.

When I was 26, I got pregnant and my immediate fear was that my boobs would get bigger.

When I was 28, I got shamed for trying to feed my screaming baby in public without a cover.

When I was 28, people asked me “why are you bothering to use a breastfeeding cover?”

When I was 30, people gave me weird looks that I wasn’t yelling at my kid for putting their hand on my boob.

When I was 31, I avoided going to the beach or pool because I didn’t want to have to deal with boobs in a swimsuit.

When I was 32, I got asked, again, “why don’t you get a breast reduction?”

When I was 33, I watched a 5yo girl get shamed for running around in sweltering heat without a shirt on and had to reprimand a bunch of tween boys who thought it was okay to shame her for doing something they do all the time.

When I was 34, my kid kept patting my breast and saying “Mommy’s squishy breast!!” They will never see me express any shame about tits, because I want them to have a different mindset than I had. Yes, boobs are nice! They’re squishy! They’re fun! That’s the end of that.

I’m 35 and no longer give a fuck. I don’t care anymore. As a teenager my tits were covered in stretch marks. They’ve been engorged with milk. My nipple changed shape with pregnancy. Give it another couple decades and my breasts will probably be all wrinkly. It’s sexual when I’m using it sexually. I don’t fucking care, and I won’t be ashamed anymore. 

Every time a policy or cultural hangup treats people with breasts differently, it fucks us over. 

Tumblr’s new policy makes an active choice to participate in this culture of shame. By classifying “female-presenting nipples” as explicit material, Tumblr has taken a stance that any chest or breast that differs from a male default is worthy of shame and unavoidably sexual. The idea that breasts are shameful and unavoidably sexual is exactly what fucked me up for so much of my life.

Stop shaming people for having bodies.
