Awesome sauce oc named Oscar who I cannot send the full ref image from this because he looks sunburnt af and I am HIGHKEY embarrassed to share.

He's the same engine as Rebecca but a rebuilt model after 1957. Based off of 34027 Taw Valley (Queen Jubilee livery specifically! Need more purple engines methinks!) The flowers were something silly those are NOT definite 😵‍💫

made a couple gijinkas on the sims and i cannot get over how i made james LOL. could his nose be better? a bit. but im not complaining he still looks very splendid (and so is the room I gave him)

Happy 80th Anniversary everyone! Genuinely so glad that one of my special interests has been around so long and that I've gotten to experience each era, even if some experiences were shortlived through age or say... Library Loans 😂... Anyways! Here's somr doodles of the gijinka forms of my oc Brady and Luke, and a little interaction I think they'd have.

Just some background on Brady before I get to the chat;

- Brady is a Baldwin Class 10-12-D, a Military goods narrow gauge locomotive. I like to think after WWI (which his basis was created late in, around 1916-1917) he found his way to Sodor as a permanent operation... While WWI is likely by no means canon, Brady still has a bit of a "gung-ho!" kind of personality.

- His number is 794, a reference to an operational preserved one in Wales at the Welsh Highland Railway.

- Despite being ready to chew you out and kick your ass, he's a very understanding person, so don't be afraid to reach out to him.

- Due to being made in 1916-17, he would be older than Luke, but makes him the third youngest I believe! (following Luke, then Rusty. built in 1922 and 1941 respectively!)

ALRIGHT ENOUGH BACKGROUND ONTO THE SILLINESS! (from the engine side of things.)

22: Hey, Brady?

794: Hm?

22: So what did you do before you came to Sodor?

794: I hauled goods... Important goods.

22: Important like...?

794: Important like someone of high authority needed them and fast.

22: Was it hard?

794: No, not as far as I recall... But it did die down after I had been working for two... three... years.

22: What'd you do then?

794: Lingered around... Think I was to be sent elsewhere but thankfully The Thin Controller swooped me in time... At least it wasn't scrap, no one wants that.

22: Was it scary?

794: Nah... If anything it was alleviating! Who knew what'd happened if I kept operating the way I was...

22: So you hauled important goods, lost the job, and ended up here?

794: That'd be correct.

22: Who knew? I never thought I'd be speaking to someone I only see in passing between this quarry the actual railway.. Skarloey says a lot of good things about it...

794: That he does, but remember, he's wisened beyond his years... Skarloey kniws things we don't.

22: That is true...

794: So how long were you hiding in the tunnels for?

22: Since... That accident. I'm glad it was resolved, but...

794: You're still a meek one, aren't you?

22: Yeah... But it's A-O-K in the end!
