Results of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix 💙🧡❤️
Tumblr media
And what a weekend it was for Max Verstappen!
He clinched his 8th consecutive pole and ties with Ayrton Senna on the record of most consecutive poles in F1 history! Coincidentally at the same weekend the entire paddock is remembering Senna and Ratzenberger.
On Sunday, Max broke another, new record by winning 2 races on one day 🎉
In the morning, his sim racing team Redline won the Nürburgring 24 hours with car #20. Max did his stints for this race from the Red Bull Racing motorhome, taking brakes for his F1 qualifying and the race 😁
Later on Sunday, Max then also won the Imola GP!
Tumblr media
He did have to work for this win, since both Mclaren and Ferrari were close on his heels. Lando finished second, only 0,7 seconds behind Max. In third was Charles Leclerc, followed by the secone Mclaren of Piastri and Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz.
Leclerc became the first Ferrari driver on the podium at the Autodrome Enzo e Dino Ferrari since Michael Schumacher in 2006 at the San Marino GP.

Round 2 of the F1 Academy season and for the first time in Miami 🏁
I unfortunately wasn't able to watch the races live because of my schedule this weekend 😓
Tumblr media
The home heroes of the F1 Academy paddock had a weekend to look back on with pride 🩷
Chloé Chambers had an amazing race 1 and finished P3! She just missed out on a second P3 in race 2, but earned valuable points in P4. She becomes the first Haas driver on the podium this year and that at both her and the team's home race!
Lia Block secured the first point of her F1 Academy campaign with a beautiful 10th place in race 2 and becomes the first Williams driver to score points this season 🩵
Courtney Crone fell just outside the points during her wildcard entry here in Miami. She finished 14th in race 1 and 11th in race 2!
Tumblr media
The top of the F1A leaderboard is currently comfortably occupied by Abbi Pulling. After a fantastic performance this weekend, she is now leading the F1 Academy Championship with a total of 99 points! Pulling achieved a double pole position and managed to convert those in not one, but 2 race wins 🔥 She becomes the first Alpine winner since Esteban Ocon in Hungary 2021.
Doriane Pin also had an amazing weekend and ended up on the podium for both races! She is currently runner up in the Championship with 65 points, followed by Maya Weug in 3rd with 51 points.
And the MiamiGP will not be a race soon forgotten by the papaya team! Not only did they win the F1 race on Sunday, but Bianca Bustamente finished second in race 2 🧡
The paddock was buzzing with support from A LOT of fans, but also several famous guests! Kendal Jenner, Charlotte Tilbury, Lindsey Vonn, Laura Winter, Carmen Mundt, and so many others came to support the F1 Academy girls 🩷

Did we all recover from this race yet? Who would have thought Miami would bring such an amazing race!
For the third time in the last 2! years, we have a non-Red Bull race winner!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So let's focus on the race-winning team of this week 🏁
McLaren came into the Miami GP race weekend with new upgrades to the car, and both drivers have been reporting all weekend that the car feels great. This immediately became clear in the race, with Oscar going from P6 to P3 in turn 1. Lando's first stint was held up by being stuck behind Perez, but at the end of this stint, he had the fastest pace on the grid.
The second stint was more in favour of Norris. He could continue on his medium tires while everyone ahead pitted and then got a free pitstop under the Safety Car. He got out of the pits before Verstappen on fresh hard tires and managed to ace the restart to stay ahead for the last stint of the race.
During this last stint, Oscar became an unfortunate victim of a racing incident with Sainz and was send to the back of the grid following damage to his front wing. He managed to climb back to 13th, just outside the points. Lando's final stint was flawless. He was able to keep Verstappen behind him at the restart and with fresh tires and clean air pulled away to his first win 🎉
A fantastic weekend for the McLaren team and fans and not an easy one to forget 🧡
So yeah, Lando Now Wins 😉🔥

HIHIHI, I DID IT!!!
So after Instagram stopped being a pain in the ass and it finally let me make a new account and log into it (which took like 12hours cause the app was freaking out so I had to continue the next day) I was able to start with my content creation/journalism adventure :)))
Tumblr media
🤍🤍
If you're interested, go follow @ WelcomeToTheFastlane_ on instagram :))
EEEEEHH, I'm finally doing it!!! I'm gonna be posting more content online and making a new account specifically for F1!!
I have always wanted to become a journalist and since becoming an F1 fan, I have been thinking about sport journalism. So now I'm gonna combine the both and start making online content about F1. Hopefully later also about more branches in motorsport because there are so many :)) I'm gonna start with F1 and F1A because I'm mostly following them and then I'm thinking about looking into the feeder series, rallying and motogp
I'm very excited about it and wanted to share it here to! If I have enough time next to my studies, I also wanna write more here about the races, so yeah, exciting :))

If anyone wants to hate on Max for doing crazy stuff on the track. Just remember, Charles raced with a broken Ferrari that had no breaks and hauled its rusty ass into P4.
Think before you hate. They’re both maniacs <3

Okay, apparently some drivers have commented on the Horner situation in the press conference... I haven't watched it yet, but I've read what they said and saw the disappointed reaction from fans online and I just feel beaten.
Cause no matter how hard we women fight for a place in this world and in this motorsport community, men will always be men.
Even the men that we look up to and want to watch every week, they are no different.
Susie almost lost her job over 1 rumour, but Horner will walk away unharmed (and even pitied by certain people) from evidence-based accusations. That just shows not only how F1 apparently works these days, but it's a painful mirror of our society.
These drivers that are "just here to do their job", yeah, so was she. How do you expect her to continue doing her job now? With all these reactions online and not a single drop of empathy?
These "noise and distractions" are what ruined a woman's life. And that was ruined by someone who walks in the same paddock as all the drivers' girlfriends, wives, daughters, nieces, sisters, and this week, even the entire F1 Academy paddock. They are women that are making a place for themselves in this sport, an example for all young girls, and this is how the drivers treat them.
They don't care because he was "always great to them" and that's just men being men unfortunately.
I'm sorry for this outburst, I just scrolled on Twitter when I woke up and felt so disappointed. I know it's not all drivers because we'll always have Lewis on our side. But that's not a suprise because Lewis is the only driver that truly cares about equality and diversity in the sport, and I admire him so much for that. Lewis is an ally, a brother, and a friend in a world full of men.

Another Charles pole and Max win :((
It was a good race, Charles did a great job and deserved that win so badly. He drove amazingly and that made it such a good race to watch.

As a Ferrari fan, I should be used to some level of disappointment by now, but unfortunately I'm naive and delulu so yes, I was still hoping for a win today :))
I'm a bit disappointed that it's another Max win. I mean he's doing amazing and I'm very impressed, but it does get quite boring watching him get P1 by turn 1 and then just staying there.
And yes, I'm a delulu Charles fan that really thought he would have been on the top step again :(( He had a really good race overall and I'm very proud of everything Ferrari has achieved in this race. A bit disappointed in the fans for booing him because there was nothing he could have done to prevent Checo hitting him, but I understand the disappointment. It was amazing to see him back on the podium, where he (and Sainz) deserve to be, so I'm very happy for that!
For Checo then, I'm so sad because he really deserved a good result at his home race. Especially after all the rumors. It sucks that he had to be a bit greedy and try and overtake so soon, because if he had waited, he would have easily overtaken Charles. His car is better, if only he had judged his attack better and not sandwiched Leclerc.
Lastly I'm so proud of Lando, what a drive was that! Wow! I've always been a Lando fan (ever since I started watching races with my ex) and this just shows again that he is champion material. It wasn't the best qualifying, but damn, did he make up for it, incredibly impressive!
So yeah, an exciting race, I've annoyed my sister immensely by talking about it afterwards. She's very disappointed in me that I've become a sports fan and 'watching Mario Kart live' as she called it, but my heart was racing the whole time. Mainly because I was still hoping for a Leclerc win, or even a double Ferrari podium, or even a red-papaya podium... But we got a 1644 podium, so I'm very happy with that as well!
Also honorary mention for the Honey Badger, because wow! Danny Ric supremacy for real! Have you seen what he's done in an Alpha Tauri???? Just put him back in a red bull seat please

Tbh, as both a big Ferrari and Mclaren fan, this was an amazing sprint! The start of the 2 Ferraris was so good and so exciting. The racecraft and fighting during the race was what I love about F1 and damn what a race from Piastri!! Also Lando's overtaking at the end was amazing to see! I've really missed this excitement in races lately and I'm happy it didn't stay in Singapore!
And congrats to Max for the World Championship, he has been so dominant all season, he really deserves it!

If you dare come at me about banning straws, I will throw you into the sun cannon. I’m disabled, I’m crippled, I need disposable plastic straws, and all those pricey ridiculous alternatives aren’t working as well. Plastic straws were invented for the disabled.
Way to shit all over a vital access need because you think straws are worse than corporate greed.
We all care about the turtles, the seals, the oceans, obviously. Notice how the easiest thing to yell about was something that would barely affect anything but appealed heavily to emotional discourse.
The disabled community is huge, and it can be joined by anyone. Most of those As Seen On TV products were invented for us. Society still mocks us and ignores us, and often outright harms us in multiple ways.
Communicate better. Listen better. But stop putting us out in the cold because you are inconvenienced by our simplest needs.
