Having a hotel room to themselves for five nights. No one else’s schedule dictating how much time they have. No one interrupting them. No biting his hand to keep quiet when Nico slips a hand in his boxers while his mom is sleeping next door. Just the two of them, alone in a room with a double bed and what feels like endless hours to spend wrapped in each other.

Do you Feel a Comma in your Heart? by claudinedelyon summary: Martino is a professional, somewhat experienced, translator. He’s worked with all kinds of proofers before, and it’s mostly gone well. And then, he’s introduced to the new proofer who is working with him on his latest project and has got green eyes, an infectious smile and opinions on the proper use of commas.

Io non ci credo, alle giraffe by Akira14 ✐ summary: Once upon a time, there was a boy who couldn’t sleep. This is the story of his quest for a cure, for the song of a wounded soul and the tears of a mythical creature. And what if he finds love, along the way? Love… Everybody seems so obsessed with that, but Martino had seen with his own eyes how dangerous, how painful, it was to fall for someone and he would rather avoid it. Will he?

Bewitched by ginnyred summary: Marti looks down at himself. Long, lean pianist fingers that are not his at all. He’s swimming in his blue t-shirt, suddenly a lot slimmer. He puts his hands in his hair and it’s weird because the feeling is familiar, but the angle is wrong. He touches his face, the long line of his nose, his jaw and prominent cheekbones. “What the fuck?” he whispers, looking up again, and his own voice startles him with how deep it is. “I’m you!”

don't know where you start, and where i begin 💕

thank you sarah 💕 for this one, i don’t know if i had a specific scene in mind, i just had the idea of the whole fic in my head for literal months, i wanted to write that specific smut but also some soft moments. i don’t know about you, but i either start writing because i have a precise dialogue or a precise image in my head. i think in this case i had a general picture but what got me in the flow was the little dialogue in the first part, when they look at the pictures and choose what to put on instagram and how to caption it, the “fucking hipster”, the “capital n?” and this whole bit:

"What's up?" he asks.

Nico shakes his head, moving to stroke Marti's cheek with the back of his fingers.

"I'm happy," Nico whispers.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."

where the switch happens. i really wanted the reader to hear the softness of their voices, see the look in their eyes (especially imagine marti’s big bambi eyes) and... yeah. after this, writing the smut was a devastating process lol, but worth it, i think. <3

i already replied here, but since it’s a three-part fic i feel like i can cheat. the second scene that i absolutely wanted to write was marti and nico eating fruit and teasing each other, being silly. but with the intimacy of them swaying to the music, at night... it’s one of the things i’ve written that i’m the happiest with, i always start writing something because i have a clear image in my head that i want to convey and i feel like i managed here!

aw 💕 the very first scene that i really wanted to write was marti and nico making out against the tree, the moment i had the idea of marti wearing white shorts (and them getting ruined) i just knew i had to come up with a way to write that, and then it turned into a three-part fic because i had these other scenes in my head that couldn’t make a fic on their own. thank you for asking, ines <3<3

I cannot stop thinking about Besse saying he never makes the characters in skam italia say I love you, because showing it is more important than stating it. 

And to me these lines of dialogue are one of many examples of how they create such great character dynamics and relationships that feel deep, without ever using tropes like emotional love declarations.

Not only is this line perfectly in character for both of them, it also makes the clip end on a positive note. And most importantly, tells us so much more about them in that moment. 

Marti showing he’s still frustrated with the fisherman situation, but he accepts Nico’s words that calmed him down. It’s a much needed safe space after what they went through in the past weeks. But Nico being Marti’s safe space never changed, and now they’re back together, and they’re a team again, and Nico is the one he can count on to make a decision for both of them.

I trust you to navigate me through this, and I trust your decision. They can only do this if they do it together, if they’re on the same page.

Nico saying what we have is stronger than his words that want to hurt us. Celebrating and having a good time is more important to us right now.

It’s I am choosing you, I am choosing us above anything else.

This is such a nice contrast, because Marti spends the season mocking Gio for his ‘devotion’ to Sofia. He makes fun of the “Amore, amore mio”, of the constant kissing. And he knows how rocky their relationship is in reality, how they don’t spend quality time together, don’t make each other a priority, how it’s not what Gio needs. Marti sees how a relationship that seems to be full of terms of endearment and PDA is actually shallow.

And then the content look on Nico’s face, how happy he is that they’re finally back together, that he has something to look forward to today, that he can hold Marti in his arms, that he can provide comfort again. 

He knows they will be okay, because he will protect what they have.

It’s one of the things skam italia is full of: showing the love in relationships by showing the dynamic, by showing how they take care of each other, and how they learn to make each other better people.
