I have no problem with detransitioners until...

I fully support and love some detransitioners. You made a mistake, a lot of people do and guess what? You shouldn’t be silenced and you shouldn’t be ridiculed and made an example of, just because you simply aren’t transgender. 

I can understand detransitioners who genuinely believed they were trans i.e. they hated their chest, their voice ect, but it was actually dysmorphia and they were wrongly diagnosed or didn’t understand the difference between dysphoria and dysmorphia. I can understand detransitioners who for any personal reason, just decided they may be better off as their birth gender. 

I have no sympathy for detransitions who had absolutely no gender dysphoria and were aware of that. I’ve spent time warning people, if you don’t have dysphoria and you transition, you are going to get dysphoria because you aren’t actually transgender. That’s entirely your fault and I genuinely feel no sympathy for you because you understood that you were just deciding to be transgender, and just deciding to take hormones instead of actually needing them. 

Finally, I hate detransitioners who say… “Well, my experience was bad and if I’m not transgender after all that, I guess no one is,” and they suddenly become terfs. Just because your experience was bad and you weren’t actually transgender, doesn’t mean no one else. 

If you are going to detransition for any reason, please can you just love the community you are no longer apart of?
