2018 was the year in movies, for me, personally. There's something euphoric about defeating the last level of #SuperMarioOdyssey - the music ("Break Free - Lead the Way") and becoming #Bowser and just wrecking everything in your path - is just so satisfying. This was only my second run-through of #SMO (my 1st since it was released last Halloween 2017, when I spent a month-plus chasing after every single mom in the game), and spent just one weekend considering this wonderfully crafted #NintendoSwitch #Nintendo game. #Mario #Peach #Cappy #PiranhaPlant #VideoGames

🇭🇷 HRVATSKA! 🇭🇷 Congrats to Croatia on advancing to their FIRST EVER @fifaworldcup final in their young history! It's been six years since I stepped foot onto Croatian soil, as I embarked on a three week trip to this European nation. Unbelievable trip, with unbelievable memories. I still remember roaming the Zagreb streets with the guys, as every Croats' eyes were glued to the many, many big screen TV's showing #CRO playing in the Euros. We then went to a local pub, where a Croat gave me a 🇭🇷 scarf (that I still own today), as we all celebrated with shots. Wish I was there right now.

Another semi-successful @pokemongoapp #CommunityDay on a beautiful, cloudless summer afternoon (high in the low 80's/high 70's); not as great as last month's, mind you, as I was O-fer again on catching Regice (0-3 now), and caught one less shiny than the norm (3 vs. 4); but was able to get a dozen Squirtle Squad Squirtles (see 3rd image), and a shiny one at that (which became the Shiny Blastoise in the last image). And, caught back-to-back shiny Squirtles at the same location (which hasn't happened to me before!) Can't wait to find out what next month's #CommunityDay @pokemon is! Problem is that it'll be much hotter and possibly wetter... (at Rio Washingtonian Center)

What a #PokemonCommunityDay! Each one of these monthly events get better than the last, with this afternoon no exception! And, for the 1st time this year, the DC area had perfect conditions: a clear, low-80's sky with little humidity. I caught not one, not two, but THREE Legendaries (the monthly Articuno; the Water Event Kyogre; and the Quest Mew), and for the third consecutive #CommunityDay, obtained FOUR of the shiny Community Day @pokemon (Larvitar)! I wonder what is in store for next month... 🤔 #Pokemon #PokemonGo #Summer #June (at Rio Washingtonian Center)

For the first time in 90-some cumulative sports years in the making for the DC pro sports teams, one (@capitals) become the champs! What a long, tiring journey it has been! Hey everyone! I'm wrapping-up a month-long data visualization course using the program @tableausoftware at my local community college, with this final project. Some backstory first; as you may know, I am a die-hard @nfl and @redskins fan; during the long spring/summer days for the past half-decade, I have made a cumulative list of the Top 100 NFL players of the post season, grabbing data from @espn, @nfl, @profootballfocus and r/NFL (NFL sub @reddit - a group I've been a part of for three years now).
