sorry if you like any of these musicals I don't, it's just my personal taste and I used to like a lot of these when I was younger!

1 - historical retelling through contemporary music, colourblind casting, pop culture references

2 - main character is influenced by the villain with the motivation of being more well liked/ being with his love interest

3 - comedy/horror musical, themes of family and grief

4 - parody of fairytales (also I do not mean the into the woods movie that movie butchered the ideas of the original show)

5 - high school story with a focus on identity vs conformity

6 - jukebox musical (but mamma mia was done RIGHT) with brilliant feminist theming

Everyone hating on me putting Rainbow Dash as Lucio guys I KNOW I love Dashie and hate Lucio also but be fr they have the most in common who else was gonna be Lucio. As much as I don’t like him, he does have some likeable/funny traits and tbh I can see them in Rainbow too, and I can see some of Rainbow’s negative traits in him (obvs just not to the same degree)

No hate to miya cech!! She's a wonderful actress and I'm sure she will do great with what she has to work with!! But making toph "more feminine" kinda goes against her character of rejecting traditional roles that were forced onto her.

Them getting rid of sokka's sexism and now making toph more feminine. I'm sensing a pattern here, and I don't like it
