Baby Dragon Sebek.

Like one day he just randomly turns into a baby dragon and everyone has to deal with the chaos that follows.

I love Sebek and he's my favourite character, but I just want more of Sebek suffering, because I have and WILL be eating up every bit of Sebek angst I can get my hands on.

Okay just a random ass idea that popped into my head, but what if Sebek was actually transported back in time one random day, like back to when Malleus was very young, and he had also turned into a little kid and was taken in by a nice old fae couple. He goes out into the woods everyday to try and find a way back to his time, one day though, he meets a young Malleus, except for some reason his kid brain doesn't fully register that it's Malleus and so he's just very confused.

But after a short conversation, he and young Malleus become friends, and every day since then, he'd meet with Malleus in the woods, but Malleus refused to tell Sebek his name, so he just calls him some random ass nickname. One day, Malleus doesn't see Sebek at their usual meet-up spot, Sebek had gone back to his timeline.

I'm just trying to imagine how their dynamic would change when Malleus realises that Sebek his guard is the same little kid he met randomly in the woods.

Y'all ever just wonder if Sebek was probably bullied as a kid? I do. A lot. Idk if it's just because I like angst but I feel like this would be such a nice piece of the Diasomnia Gang bonding lore.

No because just imagine the possibilities, like Malleus managed to save Sebek from the bullies by announcing Sebek as his soon-to-be retainer and then all the little snotfaced kids who were being mean to Sebek do this sort of 360 and just immediately start running in the opposite direction whenever they see Sebek.

This also leans into my own personal headcannon of Sebek wearing a little handmade crocodile outfit as a kid (I also headcannon his dad made it for Sebek because the baby croc was feeling sad he looked more human than fae).

Whenever baby Sebek was being picked on by the kids, gossiped about by the adults or just generally feeling overwhelmed he'd shut the jaw of his little crocodile helmet thingy and feel a little more safe since people couldn't see his face.

The Silver and Sebek friendship/rivalry thing happens when Baul and Lilia decide to catch up one day and Sebek is just following his grandpa around but gets a little lost, this makes baby Sebek panic and hide somewhere to try and stop crying, then little Silver, who noticed the very hurt green haired grandson of Lilia's friend has gone missing, went off to go find Sebek and essentially tries to calm the kid down when he finds him.

Sebek calms down only to panic again when Silver suddenly falls asleep and quickly runs off to find help, only to run into a very worried Baul and Lilia and explains through tears that Silver just fell asleep randomly and Sebek can't wake him up.

Lilia tells this story a lot.

As a kid Sebek is very quiet and doesn't speak a lot due to being bullied, when he becomes friends/familyish with Silver, Malleus and Lilia, they encourage him to speak louder and stand up for himself, which essentially leads to present Sebek who doesn't know when not to tell.

An AU where Shen Yuan dies and transmigrates into a small character who actually could have had a big impact if they hadn't died before the novel even started.

Shen Yuan wakes up as a young baby (Who he later learns was supposed to die in the womb), his memories are instantly wiped by the system until he completes a certain mission.

Turns out he's a prince now and loves to cause trouble for everyone around him, more specifically his tutors. Eventually though he is moved to the human realm by his father for his own safety because some human cultivators have broken into various different parts of the demon realm, and Shen- well, Su Yuan hasn't even unlocked his mark yet, he still has to go through demonic puberty first.

Definitely something he isn't looking forward too.

So he goes to the human realm with his older cousin, seeing as his father still has a palace and demons to manage, and his mother has her duties as a head disciple.

They live in a well hidden cottage for a year before Zhuzhi Lang suddenly dissapears with the promise he'll come back. Su Yuan waits. His mother comes instead, looking awfully pale and still pregnant from when the last time she visited.

Su Yuan is confused as his mother grabs his hand and begins to run, frantically speaking too fast for her son to even understand.

She reaches a river and starts going into labor and Su Yuan is so confused and scared, he could hear people yelling, they were angry, and his mother looked sick. He didn't even notice he was crying at that point, too focused on the woman before him.

Su Xiyan gives birth and immediately cleans her youngest son with the remaining strength she has before smiling softly at her two children.

She mouths one word before succumbing to the pain.

Run.

The boy doesn't even bother looking back nor questioning his mother, he grabs a small cloth that he had on him and wraps his baby brother in it before running as fast as his legs can take him.

Angry shouts get louder behind him before they slowly turn into frustrated mutters. He'd always had good hearing.

Su Yuan doesn't know how long he's been walking for, he just knows his feet are sore and his legs want to die, he's been moving them in the same motion repeatedly for who knows how long it's been.

No because imagine instead of Yuu/MC telling Malleus their name they decide to ask his first, and when Malleus doesn't give them his name they decide not to do the same out of pure pettiness, I would love to see a fic like this where neither of them know each others name until Book 5.

SVSSS/PIDW au where Shen Yuan transmigrates as a child, like he died in his old body as a four-year-old, I'm just gonna say he was shot by some guy with a gun who was getting payed by *insert rival company to the Shens* to kill a member of the family, and the guy didn't wanna orphan some kids so he just shot one of them and ran tf out of there.

Shen Yuan just wakes up in an alleyway as some OC insert that looks exactly like him but he was basically just tricked by the system in thinking he was going to play a game. He is disgusted by how dirty the clothes he's wearing are and wants to stop playing the game so he can be clean.

Cue him eventually getting hungry and asking a lady for some food with tears eyes and the lady folds like a wet tissue to a sad child and just hands him some tanghulu, which Shen Yuan is very happy about.

Yue Qi eventually sees this young and sad child just munching on some tanghulu in an alleyway and just immediately and internally adopts him, because the boy very much reminds him of his Xiao-Jiu, he becomes even more firm on adopting this child once he learns his surname is also Shen.

Yue Qi introduces the confused but happy Shen Yuan to Shen Jiu and is excited to see how they interact. Shen Jiu kicks it off by saying he wants this new child gone, he doesn't want to share HIS Qi-ge, but he slowly grows curious enough to let Shen Yuan stay, he just wants to know why his hair is so short and why he is also a Shen, maybe they're related and he also got abandoned, because he keeps crying about how he misses his family.

Of course months go by and Shen Yuan gets severely attached to his new siblings, thinking he was abandoned by his real family and not wanting them to leave him, so he is very clingy, and Shen Jiu is not happy with this, he wants his Yuan-di to stop being so emotional, people are going to take advantage of the fact he's so nice, and Shen Jiu might not be there to help him, which makes him annoyed because he wants to be seen as strong enough to protect both Qi-ge and Yuan-di.

A year passes and Shen Jiu is six now, Shen Yuan had turned five, and Yue Qi has turned 8 and eventually presents as an alpha.

(Yes, plot twist, there is omegaverse because I said so.)

Yue Qi's alpha pheromones kick in and he becomes ten times more attached to his little brothers, and he would gladly bite anyone who hurt them (Yes, this has already happened).

Shen Jiu dislikes how strong his Qi-ge's scent is and tells him that it's so musky and he should learn to dim it down a little bit. Shen Yuan just tells his Qi-ge that Jiu-ge is absolutely right, Yue Qi agrees.

Eventually, the slave traffickers find out Shen Jiu and Yue Qi have been technically smuggling Shen Yuan around and they're happy because they have another person to get them money, so, what do they do?

They brand him and form a contract, now referring to him as Shiyi.

Shen Jiu and Yue Qi absolutely refuse to call their didi anything but his name, and of course, Yuan-di or Xiao-Yuan.

Things go as normal with the three brothers all being little shits.

Two years pass and Shen Jiu presents as an omega.

He despises it and insists on pretending to be a beta, Shen Yuan is confused but doesn't argue, he has seen how people often treat omegas, and it isn't very kindly.

You know Shen Twins? Yah, screw that, I want me some Luo Twins. An AU where Shen Yuan ends up becoming Luo Binghe's twin and just absolutely fucks shit up, you cannot tell me he wouldn't go feral about any mishap that comes Luo Binghe's way, and would excuse everything with just going on an hour ling rant about why Luo Binghe should be treated like the prince he is.

For whatever reason, my brain fed me a “Shen Yuan transmigrates in as Linguang-Jun” AU. Probably just as a one-shot thing to explore a SY & MBJ relationship. This happens when MBJ is an older child or a young teen, I think, so LGJ has done some shit, but the shitty relationship isn’t totally set in stone yet. SY panics, of course, because he has no idea how to be a demon. 

SY eventually settles on trying to make good with MBJ (within the limits of the OOC locks at first) so that Mobei-Jun doesn’t grow up to kill him. Young MBJ’s first reaction is that this is a trick of some kind, albeit an extremely confusing one. Young MBJ eventually witnesses something (SY utterly failing to use his demon powers while he’s still trying to figure them out) and it clicks for MBJ that his uncle has been possessed or replaced. 

MBJ eventually decides that his uncle has been permanently possessed by a dream demon or the like. Should he tell someone about this? Maybe! But he kind of likes this version of his shitty uncle better. This version of LGJ isn’t trying to kill him and, like, serves that bastard right getting his body stolen by an apparently incompetent dream demon. 

SY fakes it until he (kind of) makes it as a demon. LGJ has been scary enough over the years and has MBJ’s father’s protection, so SY doesn’t have to jockey for power too much. SY is also kind of good at playing elegant, handsome villains when he’s called upon to do so (SY could consider what this says about him as a person, but he’s not going to). SY is mostly left alone to study horrible monsters to his heart’s content. 

And also hang out with young Mobei-Jun. MBJ takes advantage of SY to, idk, get his hands on some family weapon locked up in a vault where kiddos can’t get it, like a child tricking their uncle into giving them car keys at twelve. Uncle-nephew trips consist of MBJ using this new LGJ!SY who wants to win his favor as a get-out-of-jail-free card. 

Shen Yuan: “MY darling nephew? Steal YOUR demon horse? Unlikely! How dare you make such an accusation!” 

Mobei-Jun: *absolutely did do that for kicks and is very curious to see how far he can take this before someone calls him on it*

Thinking about how badly Luo Binghe botched his own post-Abyss plan.

Luo Binghe: see what I'll do is, I'll unite the warring demon factions and reduce hostilities to the human realm, establish myself as a righteous cultivator and reform one of the most corrupt righteous sects into a noble and admirable place, and calmly and rationally demonstrate to Shizun that I'm not evil and have no wicked intentions and that he has nothing to fear from me!

Random thought, but if Shen Qingqiu hadn't been eating or sleeping well during the three years Binghe was in the abyss, then he would surely look like shit.

I'm just imagining Luo Binghe turning around to stare at his Shizun after being separate for so long and just seeing a man who looks sleep deprived and hungry.

Some things may be listed again, because I don't remember most stuff mentioned in my previous post about this Au.

● Shen Yuan unfortunately dies and reincarnates as Shen Jiu's supposed to be dead brother.

● Of course he is shocked about this plot hole and curses Airplaine, before coming to the realisation this new body is just 4 years old, and that sends him into an even greater rage.

● His first meeting with Yue Qi makes much suspicion bubble up inside the young Shen Yuan, now Shen Shi.

● Of course the whole thing with Qiu Jianluo happens and Shiwu blames both the Shen brother's for attacking the angered Young Master Qiu's rampaging horse.

● The two end up as slaves at the Qiu household and are often beaten up or punished for dumb mishaps, Shen Shi learns what it's like to truly fear someone as his first time is forcefully taken from him at age 5.

● Qiu Jianluo grows bored with the weaker one of his new toys and decides to sell it off to some very powerful Lord, it causes Shen Jiu to slowly develop an abandonment issue.

● The carriage poor Shen Shi is sent on gets ambushed by some crazy man ranting about a great green ghost, that man takes Shen Shi's eye and the boy barely escapes with his life.

● Now missing an eye, the boy sets out to seek help and runs into a poor washerwoman who is an absolute dear and of course takes in Shen Shi and nurses him back to health, making the younger Shen forever trust women more then men.

● Years later, Shen Shi accidentally runs into traffickers and ends up being sold to a brothel, forever unable to see the women he viewed as an aunt.

● Stuck in his new life as a brothel worker, Shen Shi remembers his older brother, and the nice washerwoman who helped him, and he also comes to a realisation when he remembers the young baby he and the washerwoman had rescued from the river is actually the protagonist, Luo Binghe.

● Of course he gets assigned clients and that makes poor Shen Shi loose it and become absolutely miserable.

● One particular day Shen Shi is starving and a client is sent in, the boy hadn't had a meal for a while now and this new client has a lot of meat on them. So Shen Shi attacks the man and eats him, fortunately he gets away with it as no one questions why his client never came out of the room or how a body ended up buried in the garden.
