i've been taking a vacation from shows that make me too sad/serious because i'm really not coping well with some of the things in my life and i can't really take any extra negativity right now :(

i haven't watched the latest spn, for instance, and i'm sure that i will. right now i'm watching teen wolf and pushing daisies and fluffy things like that.

just give me some time and i'll be back to it when i'm feeling better (:

i won’t lie this was super cathartic to draw as a break from stretching canvas

Just wondering from which chapter of the manga version of Fullmetal Alchemist was that bit where Ed carried Winry?

exactly. why would you ever lie to a kid, especially about something as important and common as death? preach.

fullmetal alchemist manga moments → this is one of my favorites scenes in the manga so far. the way izumi treats this girl and the way she explains things to her is really on-point; izumi doesn’t lie to her or try to sugarcoat the topic, she just calmly tells menny what happened. if you’ve ever worked with children, you know this is a good way to handle it for a kid her age. although she acts very exasperated with the kids that are always asking her to fix things, you can tell she softens around them. i think izumi would’ve been a great mom :)
