every time i sit down and open my drafts to try and write, the mental block that comes with having things that are 3+ weeks old prevents me from actually writing, which is really frustrating. i don’t want to empty everything out, but i do want to get a gauge of interest. “Yeah.. they’re pretty damn thin.” Nick grinned, pleased that Owen’s account of Avery had been trustworthy. She was sexy and clearly ‘up for anything’ as described. He entered the familiar apartment, offering a quick nod of greeting in Owen’s direction. Owen slid over a little to accommodate for Nick’s large frame and to welcome Avery back. He leaned his arms back on the couch, relaxed. Owen chuckled at Avery’s nervousness, rubbing his palm along her back in encouragement. Nick didn’t move until Avery suggested that they kiss. “Alright.” Nick passed his tongue over his lips briefly then eased forward. He reached for Avery confidently, pulling her to his lap. Smirking, he leaned in then and pressed his mouth to the woman’s with Owen’s eyes on them all the while, intrigued.   

It shouldn’t have been surprising how easily he could manhandle her, but that didn’t stop her from squealing as he did. Looking over at Owen, she lifts her brows with an impressed expression before she returns her attention to their newest partner. With her heart racing, she meets his lips in a small kiss. At least, that’s what it was initially. Knowing that Owen was watching them and what was going to happen between the three of them, well, it made her deepen the kiss just a big quicker than she would have considering how much of a stranger Nick was. Her arms looped around his neck as her fingers threaded through his hair, her body grinding into his. With her heart racing, she blindly reaches a hand towards the side, not wanting to break the kiss as she reaches, reaches, reaches until her hand fists in Owen’s shirt. She pulls, no tact or gentleness in her actions as she yearns for the other to join them. Breaking the kiss, she looks at Owen with lust in her eyes as she pulls his lips towards hers for another passionate embrace.

While she didn’t doubt that, looking up at him she saw something else in his eyes, a deviousness that she read too well. Finally relenting, everyone was happy to go through this together, but, like always, they found a way to escape, deviating off the path from the others. “We’re going to get caught!” she whispered to him, fingers intertwined as Mars let them through the dimly lit back hallway. He walked like he knew where he was going, and she was helpless to follow. She could hear the screams of others through the thin walls, and the various props used by cast members. She was sure someone was going to find them, yell at them, but they managed to go unnoticed. Finally, at a corner, she felt him turn them so that she was pushed against the wall, his body covering them. “You’re so bad,” she told him, giggling as their lips met in quick kisses. But as she melted into his touch, she knew her energy matched his, to the point that she was always down for these crazy hook ups. Anything to get more of him.

She kept close to Cody, thankful that the masks and costumes meant that she was wary of pretty much everyone until they introduced themselves, when she could laugh off her standoffish behavior, telling them their costume was just too good. It wasn’t until a moment where she was alone and a hand covered her mouth, pulling her backwards did she know that she was in trouble. (Although coming here in the first place should have been her first sign.) It wasn’t until they were far enough away from the main party, hidden enough that she was able to turn around, fixing Alistair with a glare. “Are you trying to get us caught?” she asked him. Of all the things to get mad at him about, it had to be that. There really was no use in denying him, not when he looked that good in something that looked like it was plucked out of the bargain bin the day after Halloween. Letting out a snort, she lifts up the cape dangling from his neck before she raises an eyebrow. “Dracula? Really? There’s a sucking joke in there that I just can’t quite put my finger on…” She taps her chin thoughtfully before she looks over her shoulder. “So, are you going to hide me behind that cape or are you going to take me upstairs?” There was a silent challenge in her voice, and it isn’t often that she’s this forward so quick. Blame it on the atmosphere or just the fact that she can’t quite get enough of him, fearful of the day he doesn’t come back for good, she knows there’s no reason to play coy when they both want it.
