Ranking the Bunk'd Characters Pt. 2

10 Emma - Emma had good character development for the most part. I feel like of the siblings she is the one who changes the least. I think the best version of her in my opinion was season 2. She did step up and take on the role as Camp Owner in season 3, though I feel like that was in part because the writers needed to give her character something to do but Xander. Still I like her enough to have her in my top 10 characters as her funny moments are well done and the actress is quite talented.

9 Parker - Ok, he’s fun. He’s obnoxious and full of himself to start but by the end of season seven he has really changed as a character to be a more selfless and supportive person. I love his relationship with Lou, they have an adorable friendship. I’m not the biggest fan of Victoria (his wife) and would have preferred to see Parker/Lou instead. Overall though I do love his character and relationships with his campers, especially his friendship with the Coyote Cabin boys.

8 Bill - Little cowboy! His character development was great to see. I loved watching him making friends and finding out that there is life beyond the ranch. The actor did an awesome job portraying him. 

7 Winnie - Troublemaking Genius! This little daredevil stole my heart. Her relationship with Destiny was great and I loved her friendships with the boys. 

6 Jake - Innocent Baby I love him so much. He is just too good & pure for this world. I love the way he sees the world and how open and trusting he is. His relationship with the other kids is great. He and Destiny also make a fun pair for the few scenes we get (like the mermaid episode). 

5 Xander - Kevin Quinn played the typical leading man well with this character. Xander has such a big heart and cares deeply for his grizzly campers. I wish we had gotten more time with this character. His relationship with Emma was cute most of the time and tended to be the main focus for the two characters. Overall he was a fun character to watch and I enjoyed his singing. 

4 Noah - Noah became such a good camp counselor. I especially love him in the spin off as he is mentoring the coyote cabin. His relationship with the boys is so special. I also love the bond he has with Parker. His dramatic flair and zest for life bring a breath of fresh air to the show.

3 Destiny - Her journey from self-absorbed pageant queen to environmentalist to restaurant owner was awesome to watch. She became such a good counselor for Mustang Cabin and her relationship with the girls was great. Her best friendship with Noah was iconic and I loved it. It was such a treat to see the character grow up through the seasons. I am so glad her character was kept in the spin off. 

2 Ravi - THIS IS MY BOY!!! I love him so much! It was great to see his character grow and change throughout the three seasons. He is just such a loveable dork! I wish that he had stuck around the whole show. His journey from CIT to Counselor/Camp Owner was well done. I wish that we actually got to see him find love (even if it wasn’t with Lou). The actor is very talented and brought the character to life. 

1 Lou - THIS IS MY GIRL!!! I adore her. I am so glad that we got to keep her all seven seasons. Her character growth from counselor to franchise owner is awesome to see. Her actress is very talented and plays the comedic character well. Lou was exactly what each of the characters in this show needed and they were so lucky to have her. I am so glad that Lou found love at the end of the series (even if it wasn’t my OTP of Ravi/Lou).

Ranking the Bunk'd Characters Pt. 1

20 Scout - She was introduced in season 7 as if she would be a lead, but she ended up only occasionally being in part one, and in one episode of part 2. She ended up being billed as a supporting character (like Griff) but got nowhere near the screen time Griff did.  The main issue I have with her though is that her character was just a recycled version of Gwen from season 4 and a bit of season 1/2 Lou

19 Finn - There just isn’t a lot to this character. He is supposed to be a Jorge/Lou mix, being as messy as Jorge and quirky as Lou. Honestly I just find him boring. 

18 Matteo - I feel like the writers only started to figure out his character halfway through season five. He ranks higher than Finn because he at least doesn’t feel like a complete knockoff of another character. 

17 Jorge - The writers were really mean spirited to his character. I did like to see his character growth through the first two seasons. I listed him over the other three since I actually missed him when he was gone. 

16 Tiffany - same situation as with Jorge. She is listed higher since she has a better and more in depth character development. The episode where she stands up to her mom was amazing and really touching.  Her friendship with Ravi was really great too.

15 Gwen -  She was a sweet enough character and definitely one that got better as the season went on. I did miss having her as a main camper in season five (since she just made a guest appearance).

14 Ava - I liked her relationship with Lou.  She was a good mentor for Destiny and more down to earth than Emma. Her friendship with Noah was great and I enjoyed seeing her grow. I feel like she was the only returning guest in the finale who was in character. Her character growth from anti-nature city kid there only to spite her mom to excited and responsible camp leader was amazing witness. The actress is also really talented. 

13 Hazel - Hazel is pretty funny. The writers were really mean spirited to her though. The flash backs to when Lou, Xander and her were younger were great. Honestly, I just enjoyed her scheming and shenanigans. I missed her after season two. It would have been cool to see how she could have grown without Xander at camp. 

12 Griff - Such an interesting character! I wish that they had him as a main character instead of recurring since I enjoyed his personality. His relationship with Xander is super sweet and I love that his arc ended with him being brought into Xander’s family instead of back to Juvie. The character really changed and developed over the course of the season. 

11 Zuri - Like on Jessie, we got to see the actress grow up over her three seasons. I think Zuri has a good amount of character development, becoming less selfish as the seasons go on… though that development feels like it was undone in the season 3 finale.

Commenting on a fic just to rant about how much you hate a clearly tagged character and ship is so frustrating and disheartening. Getting comments like that just make the author not want to write anymore. READ THE TAGS!!! And if you see something you don't like just hit the back button. It's not that hard to be a decent human being.
