I saw your last video and I was wondering, do you have a favorite brand/model of pen that you use? Or one that you would like to use?

oh, great question! it wasn't actually in my last video, but I have a kaweco sport which I was gifted on my birthday. it's the pen that I use most frequently. I also think zebra are a great company and when I'm not using my fountain pen, I generally reach for them. both of the pens in the video are zebras, one being a biro and the other a sarasa clip (?).

I didn't really get what I wanted to get done today, but I am (accidentally) ahead of schedule in translation territory, at least, so it was not for nowt. plus, I finally did my laundry, hence the pictures of my sweet, clean gaff.

despite it being exam season, I am trying to continue to prioritise myself. that means, going to bed even if I haven't finished my work and doing my laundry even if it means won't finish my work.

it's great to study Latin. I only took it for one semester unfortunately so that I could focus on Greek, but I hope that you enjoy it.

I did read Babel a couple of years ago, and while I enjoyed it I had a lot of complicated thoughts on it. overall though, I think the premise was very interesting and she communicated her message effectively.

today was a very severe anxiety day which was not good for the day before my exam... having panic attacks is time-consuming. I feel very unprepared but I'll update youse tomorrow. I'm gonna spend my night preparing archaeology flashcards to cram before the exam starts. it'll be fine. it's not the end of the world if it goes badly! ob la di ob la da. feeling lucky to have the best househusband.
