Cisn’t flag redesign!
(redesign on the left | original on the right)
Cisn’t: “An umbrella term for anyone who is not cisgender. It is not exclusive to transgender people, as not all non-cis people identify as trans. Even though trans may apply to them, they may not identify primarily as trans, because they do not feel they experience the trans experience.”
While it is unclear if this blog is the original coiner of the term, the popular cisn’t flag was originally created by @/beyond-mogai-pride-flags. However, I was not fond of the way the colors strained by eyes, nor did I like the lack of meanings given to the stripes. So I remade it with less straining colors (although trying to keep it recognizable as similar to the original), and stripe meanings!
The meanings are as follows:
PURPLE: being transgender by definition, but not necessarily choosing to label as such, or not feeling like you are
PINK: not being cis
WHITE: the difference/transition between cis and not being cis as well as diversity in identities that are not cis
GREEN: solidarity/relation to being transgender or being transgender
BLUE: rejecting cisgender ideas, concepts, norms, and the cisgender ideas of binary

Orientationgender redesigns :]
We got lesbian- and gayman- genders, based off my favorite lesbian and gay man flags, plus a genderbi redesign because the original one is…kinda ugly ngl
[Begin image ID: Two rows with three flags each, a white banner separating them. The first row has the sappho poem lesbian flag, the jewel gay man flag, and the bisexual flag. The second row has my orientation-gender flag redesigns, all five horizontal stripes.
From top to bottom, the lesbian-gender flag is yellow, green, purple, pink and white. The gay-man-gender flag is teal, purple, blue, pink and white. The gender-bi flag is magenta, blue, purple, pink, and white. End Image ID.]

admasculine: transitioning towards masculinity
adfeminine: transitioning towards femininity
these are meant to be slightly more inclusive than ‘transmasculine’ and ‘transfeminine’. who wouldn’t feel included by trans-? why do we need ad-? i’m glad you ask! here are some examples:
an AFAB bigender person who has been on T for a long time and now needs to do the same things as transfeminine people to pass on girl days would be transmasculine but adfeminine
a man in a system who has to dress up the body of his cis woman host when he fronts to feel himself would be admasculine
a trans woman would be adfeminine, because it’s an umbrella term that transfeminine falls under
a cis man with kallman’s syndrome who chooses to take T might be admasculine
an AFAB nonbinary femme might call themselves adfeminine because they feel like they’re transitioning into a different kind of femininity than the heteronormative role they were assigned at birth
a butch woman who transitions but wants to avoid the connotations of transmasculine might feel more comfortable calling herself admasculine
a woman in a system who’s transfeminine inworld but fronts into an AFAB body would be adfeminine
an intersex person who has undergone medical intervention but doesn’t consider themselves trans might talk about their experiences instead as an adgender person

[ID. Three almost identical flags. 6 stripes, top to bottom, 2 variations of indigo, 2 almost-identical shades of magenta, 2 shades (orange and yellow) making amber. The first has a turquoise greek symbol of v inside a white circle outlined with the same turquoise, the outline continues into a thin stripe for the middle of the flag. The second has only the turquoise v symbol without the circle or the thin stripe. The third has only the turquoise middle stripe without any symbol. End]
Nonamory - a lifestyle choice that does not include intimate, long term partnerships
I wanted to try my hand at a redesign of the nonamorous flag cuz i was bored rlly like the original color meanings n wanted it to better match the description ^___^
Original meaning still applies (with a few changes) :
Indigo - Integrity of nonamorous folks shown towards ourselves in spite of social pressure to enter into monogamous relationships
Magenta - Compassion and solidarity with members of our own community + others who struggle against the pressures of an amatonormative society, and the harmony we can achieve outside of "traditional" long-term partnerships
Amber - The joy, independence, and confidence we harbor both in non-monogamous relationships and with ourselves, freedom in the self
Turquoise - Healing and self-sufficiency we find in, and as, a community despite living in a world that treats us as "incomplete" for not seeking out a monogamous partnership
Greek symbol v - Adventureousness and creativity in how we relate to the world, to represent how nonamory has long been in "uncharted waters" in terms of general awareness, and also acceptance of how we choose to approach our close attachments
(Also some other things)
Ratio of the simplified one - 8 : 8 : 7 : 2 : 7 : 8 : 8
Symbol font - Bodoni MT italic (with added thickness by bucket tool)
Original flag that was the inspiration

🌷 Bellusromantic Flag (Redesign) 💫
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Bellusromantic is a micro-label on the aromantic spectrum defined as having interest in traditionally romantic things, such as kissing or cuddling, but not feeling romantic attraction, and not wanting a romantic relationship. A bellusromantic person may enjoy or desire these activities in non-romantic contexts, but does not enjoy them in the context of a romantic relationship.”
I decided to redesign the bellusromantic flag since the term resonated with me, but I wasn’t quite a fan of the flag. Lavender - Traditionally romantic behaviors; like kissing, cuddling, holding hands, etc. Dusty Pink - The link between traditionally romantic behaviors and being aromantic; removing actions like kissing, cuddling, holding hands, etc from a romantic context. Rose Pink - The core identity of being aromantic; not experiencing romantic attraction, as well as identifying as bellusromantic. Peach Pink - The link between being aromantic and not desiring a romantic relationship. May also include being romance-repulsed if that applies to the user. Peach - Not desiring and/or rejecting romantic relationships. Could also include favoring other types of relationships (alterous, (queer-)platonic, etc.). I decided to still include the rose as I thought it was a unique addition and helps the flag stand out. Above features one complex and one simple version depending on the users tastes; as well as a blank version if the user prefers it without a symbol.
Below on the left, is the current bellusromantic flag I’ve found. On the right is the original, and I mostly based my redesign off of it. I wanted to add a unique stripe construction instead of the basic fade-into-white that many other flags already have ^~^

Peonygender!
A xenogender in which someone connects their identity, expression, and beauty to peonies. Able to be used by neurotypicals, but made for neurodivergent people, specifically linked to femininity, softness, beauty, pinks, purples, and flora. Pronouns can be any flower related, but are specifically peon/peony/peony’s/peonyself

[ID: Two version of the same pride flag, each with five horizontal stripes of: orange, yellow, green, red-purple, and dark grey. The first flag is slightly desaturated, and the second is more vibrant End ID.]
I haven’t seen an aspec flag that wasn’t just a combination of the ace and aro flags, so I made my own! There are two versions because I like bright colors and I like dark colors and I couldn’t decide which one I liked better!
It’s for anyone on the entire aspec spectrum, including people who are questioning whether they are aspec!
I wanted a flag that was more than just a combination, to represent that the aspec community is varied and unique and sort of “more than the sum of its parts”, because even though we all have different experiences, we’re all aspec and we should be proud of that :)
Feel free to use for icons, headers, edits, moodboards, anything you would use a pride flag for, including redbubble or other money-making designs, as long as you aren’t on the DNI below!

coining two new aroace / ay labels !!
Tumblr media
inaequic aroace / ay - someone who is both acespec and arospec, but relates more to the aroallo experience due to feeling a higher intensity/frequency of sexual attraction than romantic. coined with light-greysexual arospecs in mind, but anyone who feels as if their attraction is uneven in this way can use this term. inaequic comes from the latin word ‘inaequale’, meaning unequal or uneven.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ánisic aroace / ay - someone who is both acespec and arospec, but relates more to the alloace experience due to feeling a higher intensity/frequency of romantic attraction than romantic. coined with light-greyromantic acespecs in mind, but anyone who feels as if their attraction is uneven in this way can use this term. ánisic comes from the greek word ‘άνισος’ (romanization = ánisos), meaning unequal or uneven.
the stripes don’t have any specific meanings, but both flags are based off of the aroace flag. the colours on the inaequic are based off both the aroace and aroallo flags, and the ánisic colours are based off of the aroace + alloace flags :) there’s a high potential i might redo these in the future as i’m not that sure of the flags lol

please read my pinned post / DNI before interacting, thank you !!

i got a little excited about the prospect of quantum (quantum queer, quantumgender, quantumromantic, quantumsexual, etc) as an identity label for gender and/or attraction—because i used to id as ‘undeclared’ and, while i also love ‘just plain queer’ i also enjoy describing my gender and attraction as being quantum in nature because i find it to be the most accurate way to label it all; fluctuating and changing when observed—so i decided to make this flag for myself and also share it with all of you! the lowercase delta symbol stands for uncertainty and change 🤍

Midnight Sapphic: A term for sapphics who are reclaiming their identity as someone who is often left out of sapphic discussion, is “fought” over, or is rarely visible. Midnight sapphics may or may not feel a disconnect from their regular sapphic identity/community because of this. Can also be used by sapphics who want to show support and solidarity with these groups!
For the stripe meanings, the outer stripes are meant to represent night time/dusk, the inner stripes represent self identification and pride, and the middle stripe represents the moon! These flags can also just be used as an aesthetic difference to the main sapphic flag, so long as you’re supportive of all sapphics. (Maybe you’re just a nocturnal being who likes girls, y’know?)

Hi there! This is my blog dedicated to my nonbinary gay flag! I don’t really like the most popular nonbinary gay flag, so I made my own by messing around with colours and seeing which ones work the best but also which ones work the best with represent nonbinary gays. I don’t like the most popular gay man flag either, so I tried to make it less of “tons of blue bc boy”.
But anyway, here it is! A flag for every nonbinary gay that wants to show that they’re nonbinary and only like men/masc people! Free to use for edits or icons (which I will be making on this blog), but if you do do anything with this flag - please tag me so I can see it! I would love to see what the community does with it!

i thought of this for a novigender flag
the definition at the moment is “a gender experience too hard to read/process/understand or too complex to pin down to one word”
the grey is for neutrality, and possible confusion
the two blues for they varying stages of clarity people might experience around it
and the orange for the individuality of it, maybe? i’m not sure. i have said that novigender could be for if an experience is too specific and unique to one person they could use the word, so the orange could represent that
what’s everyone’s thoughts on this?
edit: nan0nebula suggested that the orange could represent embracing the lack of clarity, too
edit 2: minkses made this pride button, and ne says it’s free for use
