Basically, the best way for me to rekindle inspiration is to write a scene poorly and throw it away. That gets my mind working on how to actually fix the problem. Writer’s block almost always goes away after I’ve tried a scene in a couple of different ways, sometimes from different perspectives, sometimes with wildly different ‘takes’ on the scene. I try to shake things up in a few of the takes.

Yeah, I... really don't see the problem here and I'm generally one of those fluffy types that dislikes the fr grimdark canons. The sale of dragons is left so ambiguous in the fr universe that I don't think you can say someone's wrong for interpreting it as slavery for their lore.

It really confuses me when people try to draw a lot of direct parallels between social issues in the frverse and our world - it's a completely different fantasy setting and issues we have here don't necessarily have to be reflected there or seen as having the same implications. It's a different history, a different culture, etc. If you want to play them as similar, you're free to but not everyone will see it the same way.

Personally I don't care for the idea and I think this person's trying a little too hard with the display, but I don't think their lore necessarily reflects on their opinion of slavery in our world. Like, I don't see it as being glorified in any way besides the fact that they're unapologetically playing a villain that partakes in that. :/a Are clans that kill their exalts glorifying murder?
