I find Bane’s defensiveness of Bruce and the concept of Batman while Bruce was “dead” in Battle for the Cowl surprisingly endearing. Though it’s made all the more amusing when Bruce returns and Bane nigh-immediately starts a campaign to kill all of Batman’s loved ones and ruin his life.
