Luke Breastfeeding Knowledge In The Last Jedi
Tumblr media
Madonna Litta. By Leonardo da Vinci. Circa 1490
Recently in #TheMasterGame by #GrahamHancock and #RobertBauval I read about a monument in Paris that was erected after the #FrenchRevolution, of a large Isis fountain, with water pouring from her breasts called 'The #Isis of #Bastille.' This lead me to investigate this symbolism in art, to also deduce why #RianJohnson used it in #TheLastJedi with Luke. Turns out this image was used in classic Christian art to portray wisdom, gained symbolically from Mary's breasts. Countless artists portrayed this, including #LeonardoDaVinci. This lead me to uncover even more about what I see as a possible coded message that Johnson was communicating with this film. This lead me to uncover even more about what I see as coded message that Johnson was communicating wit this film. As I had written about recently, the symbolism of the Sumerian God Enki, usually shown in fish garb, was evoked by Luke garbing himself with a large fish on Ach-To. Enki was said to have given the "knowledge of good and evil” to the women Shamans of ancient Sumeria in the Garden of Eden. But that is another post. What is of interest here is that this further fortifies the theme of Luke helping Rey to see the knowledge of light (creation) and dark (destruction) in all creation, even inside her. Luke drinking the milk from the Thala-Siren’s breasts communicates that he is receiving knowledge and wisdom. And from a pure source of, from a creature that is part of a natural environment. Just life here, no system. Not dogma. The Fore is One, it is in all living things (Light and Dark), therefor he is getting knowledge from creation. Here, Luke also becomes a sort of baby Jesus archetype, but not the Jesus of dogma, the Jesus that speaks truth to all people, not just the elite or so-called “chosen”.
For all the people who attacked Johnson for this scene, maybe you should attack DaVinci and pretty much every other great artist through the history of art for painting Jesus breastfeeding. This sort of layered mythological and archetypal symbolism of The Last Jedi is only one of the many reasons this film will last, and matter poetically as it ages.
Tumblr media
Note: Luke's placement on lower left - just as Jesus is placed lower left in classic art. This gives the effect of Luke being a baby in comparison to the larger Thala-Siren that he receives the breast milk from.
Finally, as I've written about prior, what Johnson is doing is to revolutionize The Force away from dogma controlled by the Jedi elite and back to it's #gnosis, to the knowledge of good (Light Side) and evil (Dark Side) which is a part of all Creation. This revolutionary aspect also ties it into the Isis of Bastille.  So now we have Luke evoking symbolism of Jesus, Enki (Sumerian) and Isis (Egyptian), a powerful symbolic cocktail.
Tumblr media
Isis Of The Bastille. 1793. Note: "'regenerative' liuid symbolizing the new order" - i.e. How Luke will also be starting the new Jedi Order with Rey. Finally, as I've written about prior, what Johnson is doing is to revolutionize The Force away from dogma controlled by an Elite and back to it's #Gnosis, to the knowledge of good and evil which is a part of all Creation. This revolutionary aspect also ties it into the Isis of Bastille. The Last Jedi is some sort of post-post-post-post modern Masterpiece reevaluated modern mythology! Here is the previous piece examining Luke in The Last Jedi as a synchretic version of the Sumerian fish-garbed God Enki * * *

Ancient Apocalypse On Netflix: Standing With Graham Hancock
Tumblr media
Above: Promo image for Ancient Apocalypse on Netflix with Graham Hancock
A friend sent me this piece, and below was my reply. I think it's important to post this, because this piece by a writer named Jennifer Sandlin is highly destructive, dumb, unsubstantiated and possibly even intentionally cruel. This sort of thing is why I haven't read the "official" news or participated in online discussions for about two years now (life has been so much better!). But I'll do it this one time to support #GrahamHancock, because the decades of hard-earned knowledge he has acquired can only benefit us a species to consider. I am no authority on this stuff, but I have read 3 of Hancock's books, which are entirely footnoted with hard evidence of facts. I have also likely seen almost every talk he has ever published online. Not only that, but I have been interested in this as an amateur hobby for 5 years - daily - and I am acutely familiar with the work of his peers like respected "official" geologist #RobertSchoch, catastrophist #RandalCarlson and #OrionCorrelation theorist and writer #RobertBauval etc. Ok, so my response:
"Read it, that's disgusting. This is likely a planned strategy from the string pullers to discredit him. They know the game. Just say anything, and unthinking masses will believe it
And they go right to the smoking gun of it. They say this mention of heavily bearded white men in his work makes him a White Supremacist. Jesus. In his work Graham has respectfully documented evidence of heavily bearded men that are said and depicted to have appeared, for example, to people in Mexico, who genetically do not have that trait. This stuff is even backed by DNA findings. This is huge, a massive huge fact that points to a lost civilization being able to traverse the globe. It is just one of thousands of pieces of hard factual evidence that supports the theory
I mean, he's talked about the massive Olmec face statues found in Mesoamerica - which most agree have unquestionable facial traits of African people. So, another fact that ancient people traversed the globe. In this instance it was Africans in Mesoamerica. It strongly suggests Africans crossed the oceans. Think about what that means, and then you understand the need for a Hancock to document this stuff for us in a responsible and factual way
In any case, the writer Jennifer lost me at the start with her ego "I have a master's degree in archeology". Yeah Jennifer, I graduated as top student in my final year at the Harvard of art schools, OCADu, with a scholarship award and honours, and as the one student from my program to display my art for world leaders at Queen's Park. That does not make me an artist. All those pieces of paper do is certify that I am slightly crazy (and I had some not noteworthy success in the easy and protected atmosphere of a school.) My piece of paper in art does not make me an Authority on the history of art, nor does Jennifer's in Archeology make her an Authority on world history
I honestly haven't read news or anyone's comments about anything online for about two years - my soul is literally too tired from this dimwitted and troubled world to do so. But I did it this once because Graham's work is more important than we may realize
P.S. Robert Bauval wrote a book called Black Genesis which uncovers a great amount of evidence showing all of us descend from Africa. Hancock's wife Santha is not white, and this is important - not because she is his wife, but because they are professional partners who have been travelling the world documenting this stuff for decades. She is the amazingly talented photographer who documents and publishes all this stuff visually Here is the rediculously ignorant article attacking him; Archaeologists reveal the white supremacist nonsense behind Netflix's "Ancient Apocalypse" | Boing Boing * * *

Palpatine's Statue References A Famous Sculpture of Giordano Bruno
Tumblr media
Above: The monument to Bruno in the place he was executed, Campo de' Fiori in Rome. What do the hood, cloak and crossed arms represent? Traditionally in mythology, the cloak and cowl represent wearing the garment of new spiritual values - and protection from the outer world
Tumblr media
Above: In this scene from Revenge Of The Sith, this statue is seen Palpatine is telling Anakin that if he is to be wise, he must embrace a wider view of The Force, containing both the Light and Darks sides. His words are not wrong. Perhaps even gnostic and hermitic - but he is hiding lies within the truth, as he is clearly not coming from a place of the knowledge of Good and Evil - he is beyond self-knowing and 100% using only the Dark Side This was budding in my subconscious since 2005. This statue in #DarthSidous office uses the exact same language as the famous one in our world of the hermetic occultist #GiordanoBruno. Bruno was burnt at the stake by the Roman Catholic #Inquisition in 1600 for heresy. He believed in reincarnation and was centuries ahead of his time - he believed that stars were also suns with planets around them containing life. In the book The Master Game by #GrahamHancock and #RobertBauvalI have learned that Bruno is essentially part of an underground secret tradition that kept Gnosticism (knowledge inside you / dualism) and Hermeticism (Egyptian spirituality / magic / alchemy) alive through centuries of oppression and #genocide by the Church towards heretics. They even had a rule of two thing of master and apprentice to keep the faith alive underground. In my opinion, the history of #TheSith should not be as it is in Legends. It would be more interesting if it was that ancient #Jedi fanatics of The Light persecuted and killed well-intentioned Sith simply for heresy (which would be the "Knowledge of Good & Evil" (Dark & Light Side) in all Life. Eventually the well intentioned Sith in hiding would be infiltrated and corrupted by truly evil Dark Side beings like Darth Bane, Plagueis etc. In any case, both statues use the same symbolic language with the hoods and crossed arms. To a history buff like Lucas, this cannot be coincidence. You decide!

In The Last Jedi Luke helps guide Rey to the "Knowledge of Good & Evil" (Also, the history of the Sith should be that they were "good" people who were killed for teaching this and went into hiding)
Tumblr media
Luke's 2nd lesson to Rey in #TheLastJedi completely obliterates any misconceptions about The Force. It's so on point, so exacting in fact to the basic #JosephCambell distillation of the dualistic Spiritual/Physical Reality (beyond morals) of Creation - that it actually boggles my mind that #RianJohnson pulled off that upheaval (in such a tersely competent cinematic way). It's revolutionary. It was abandoned in #TheRiseOfSkywalker, perhaps because higher ups realized the core SW fanbase isn't ready for it? Though, the mainstream audience likely is, I think the Western World is hungry to evolve from the Old Myth. Luke doesn't teach her anything, he simply directs her to find It for herself. Basically, gnosis - That she is All Of The Divine, as is Everything Else That Exists In The Infinite Of Every Universe All Of The Divine.
Btw, the ONLY way to write the real history of The Sith, is to make their beginnings to thousands of years prior be a sect who believed this "knowledge" of The Force (Gnosis)" and were victims of brutal murderous Crusades - that would kill heretics who didn't ONLY adhere to the Light Side of the Force (In Creed - no one actually cares about in practice). In any case, the Original Sith would simply want all beings to know their Self (sounds like Sith) to know they are equally connected to The Force. They would thus want structures to represent this equality. They would challenge established order of the Elite keeping The Force for themselves. Thus, The Sith would have to go into hiding. Somewhere along the line the good-intentioned Sith would be infiltrated with ill-intentioned would-be Tyrants, with a secret society plan to simply take over the Galaxy for themselves. Leading to Palpatine's fulfillment of the plan, and twisting this in saying to Anakin, 'If you want to be a wise leader, you must embrace a larger view of The Force." True in essence, but twisted just for Palpatine's purposes.
This ultimately leads to Luke understand The Great Mistake and working to dismantle any Elite control of The Force in the Galaxy, by helping Rey see it All inside herself.
If Star Wars goes beyond Episode IX, it needs to go in this, or it will continue to be Spiritually irrelevant like TROS. Finally, some mythologists, authors and historians have argued that the Snake in the Garden of Eden, was actually a twisting of an older Sumerian Garden of Eden myth where the God Enki was teaching that women shamans of the matriarchal society the "knowledge of good and evil." Enki is said to have desired to free people from the mental and physical slavery of his brother Enlil on the Sumerian people. He is always represented with fish scales, or as a snake. So the fish / snake God Enki appeared to women in Eden. This was then intentionally manipulated by men (with a long-term plan to change the cultural myth for their power) to be "Evil", and in so doing they would tarnish the perception of women in society, because they were guided by Enki. Thus, they said Enki only appeared "good" with good intentions, but his true self was evil. The word Satam was also used for Enki - some say that this is how the myth of the Devil came to be. In any case, Luke is shown to catch a big fish, and even wears it over his shoulders. This is called "syncretic" mythology. For ex., the Egyptioan God Thoth later becomes the Greek God Hermes or the Aphrodite (Greek) becomes Venus (Roman) etc. I have to wonder if Rian Johnson was trying to portray Luke as a kind of Enki - that he was smart enough to go back to the very roots of Western mythology and attempt to undo the damage done to Enki.

The Hero's Journey Of Boba Fett To Unity
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ever since A New Hope, good Star Wars always ends by activating all three parts of our being: Mind, Body and Soul. I won't explain all three here, but I will show why this finale on a soul level, and why it's one of my favourite finales in Star Wars. It's also the culmination of the Joseph Campbell Hero's Journey.
Campbell sates, "The great deed of the supreme hero is to come to the knowledge of this unity in multiplicity and then to make it known.”
In episode 2 we saw a one-for-one visual representation of "I am the vine, you are the branches" - Jesus (But he likely borrowed from the Buddha at The Tree Of Life) is always simply a metaphor that all life is One and interconnected. As it reaches up to the sky, and down through its roots, it also represents that Earth and Heaven are also connected as One. As Boba get's his sacred Gaffi Stick from the Sacred Tree in a classic vision quest, he is now one with the Tusken Tribe, but also has an inner knowing and philosophy that all Life is One. He is no longer the angry warrior who see's other life as separate from him, and willing to destroy it for money as a Bounty Hunter.
At the end of this finale we come to our philosophical climax of the soul. Cad Bane and Boba face off in a classic gunslinger duel, Cad tells Boba to look out only for himself (separation philosophy), and it's at that moment that Boba defeats him in a surprise move by using his Gaffi Stick - the Tree Of Life symbol of all being One. In a brilliant use of poetic symbolic metaphor, the philosophy of unity in multiplicity defeats the philosophy of separation of the individual from others.
Aside from the amazing action and visuals which are always needed to make a mind blowing Star Wars ending, this one scene shows why great Star Wars endings always say something philosophically and intentionally speak directly to the soul, as all real Hero's Journeys do. Step 16 of 17 is essentially the culmination of all Hero's Journeys, as it is where the hero goes beyond duality, and comes to an awareness that all is one, all life, all creation even the heavens and the earth.
"and here is a great key to the understanding of myth and symbol – the two kingdoms are actually one… and the exploration of that dimension, either willingly or unwillingly, is the whole sense of the deed of the hero." - Joseph Campbell
The first shot we saw of Boba in The Mandalorian framed him with the sun. In the final moment with Cad Bane, the sun engulfs Cad's face as Boba looks at him. He is now enlightened. His inner victory of unity in multiplicity (yes, even unity with the Sun) leads to outer victory. *Quotes taken from The Hero With A Thousand Faces

A Hero’s Journey In Song (From F-105 & The Soles)
Tumblr media
Here is a list I curated of songs I’ve written and where they fit into the 17 steps of the Hero’s Journey, found in Joseph Campbell’s classic book ‘The Hero With A Thousand Faces.’ I needed to wait until the recent release of F-105 II: Side B for songs in the final steps. F-105 II: Side A (to be released in the future) will complete it. These songs are not literal, not simply telling a story with characters from other myths and stories, they work poetically (hopefully) to place the listener their own Hero’s Journey, for whatever moment they are in. I perform now as F-105, formerly The Soles. This complete list is what I’ve been working towards my entire creative life, hope you enjoy! – Din

Here is a simplified source of the steps: The Hero’s Journey: Examples of Each Stage (yourdictionary.com)
Step 1: The Call to Adventure. The problem, departure From ordinary world, passion for life
Sunburst – The Soles
October 1st – F-105
Sand In The Sun – The Soles
Step 2: Refusal to the Call. Fear of unknown, self-doubt, naysayers
Rebel Force Radio – The Soles
Rebel Girl – F-105
Hey Old Man (Acoustic Remix) – The Soles
Step 3: Supernatural Aid. Meeting mentor, external help
JLV – The Soles
Step 4: Crossing the Threshold. Uncertainties, edge of the unknown, threshold guardian
Who You Really Are – The Soles
Whisper – The Soles
Step 5: Belly of the Whale. Underworld, separation, the cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek
Broken Ghost – The Soles
To The Underworld – F-105  [Note: Will appear on F-105 II: Side A]
Emergency – The Soles
The Unknown – The Soles
Light In A Cave – The Soles
Step 6: The Road of Trials & Temptations. Series of trials, tests, and helpers
Desert Planet – F-105
Desert Star – The Soles
No Man’s Land – F-105
Mileage – F-105
Sky (In The Name Of You) – The Soles
Step 7: Meeting With the Goddess. Maternal goddess, assurance, goodness, unconditional love
Viljo and Elsa – F-105
Coals  – The Soles
Step 8: ‘The Tempter’. Material world that distracts the hero from what they set out to accomplish
Shadows of June – The Soles
Step 9: Atonement With The Father. The father-god is often a fearsome ogre whom the hero must either overcome or reconcile, the archetypal enemy also as self, thus glimpsing Source – an atonement
War! – The Soles
Trodden On – The Soles
F35 – The Soles
For The Love Of Fear – F-105 [Note: Will appear on F-105 II: Side A] Step 10: Apotheosis / Apostasis. After conquering fear, the hero at last achieves enlightenment.  Mythological and religious traditions throughout history and across the world teach us that this power lives within us all. Abandoning former beliefs to find inner Godhood
Illusion – The Soles
Newest Revelation – The Soles
Immovable – F-105 [NOTE: Will appear on F-105 II: Side A] Step 11: The Ultimate Boon. The hero gains grace of the gods, their energy substance, their elixir of impenetrable being. What I found is “What you think, you become” and “You are me, and I am you, everything we do will run through, run through and through”)
Finally Found A Way – F-105
Over The Wall – The Soles
Step 12: Refusal to Return Even the Buddha, after his victory at the Tree of Enlightenment, doubted if it was even possible to bring the joy of true enlightenment to other mortals. It is tempting for the hero to simply turn away from the world and reside forever in Paradise
Bull Out Of Gate – F-105
*** NOTE: Not sure I fully have songs for steps 13 and 14, but perhaps I will write a future songs for them. Also, Hollywood writer consultant Christopher Vogler condensed steps 13-15 into only 1 step (of 12 total) in a book called ‘The Road Back.’  See here: The Hero’s Journey: Examples of Each Stage (yourdictionary.com)  For now “Echo Bay” will work in general *** Step 13: The Magic Flight. If the hero has won the Ultimate Boon through trickery or manipulation of the gods, their return home may be marked by a chase as the gods seek to regain the elixir
*** Step 14: Rescue from Without. Sometimes, the hero will require aid from a third party in order to return home from the realm of the supernatural
Step 15: Crossing of the Return Threshold. Pursuit by Gods who may seek to regain elixir, escape and return
Echo Bay – The Soles
Bull Out Of Gate – F-105
Step 16: Master of Two Worlds Freedom to Create Own Reality. Master of two worlds is the stage in which the hero can move seamlessly between the two worlds, without destroying or compromising either
Waves -– F-105
Step 17: Freedom To Live. The hero returns to the ordinary world with their divine boon in hand. The journey has been an exercise in uniting the world of the unknown with the world of the known - the two are mirror images, opposite sides of the same coin. The challenge now is to communicate to the ordinary world the wisdom and enlightenment that the hero has learned in their quest to the land of the gods
Where We All Go – The Soles
Salvation – The Soles
Joy – The Soles
We The Force -– F-105 [NOTE: Will appear on F-105 II: Side A]
The Final Crossing (Part of Step 17). This is part of the journey that we all must take, transition beyond this existence into another. My take on it is how to prepare – live and make choices as if you may die at any moment
Last Moment – F-105
If I Were About To Die – F-105
Outer Space (I’m Coming Home) – F-105

Mortis As A Representation of The 6th Dimension (In The 3rd)
Tumblr media
For those that like to study “spiritual” materials on the various Dimension of reality, you are likely familiar with the concept of the Sixth Dimension as a “plane” where our higher selves exist, sort of beyond time. Without going further into that stuff, here’s a photo essay on why I think Mortis is a representation of that. I do not think symbolism in Star Wars is chosen lightly, or without research - it never has. Ok, so Mortis appears as two pyramids, one up, one down representing "As above, so below" (Heaven and Earth, as such).  It has six points to represent the 6th Dimension. Our Higher Selves are 6th Dimension that know where we will end up in our 3rd Dimension paths (i.e. because of no time and All existing in One Moment), and also are aware of the lesson we need to learn as our 3rd Dimension selves to evolve and grow. Here, in this 3rd Dimension we have the “reality”, a road to chose the paths offered by Free Will. Without the duality of 3rd Dimension we would have no practical way to chose between good and evil, right and wrong, light and dark, love and fear, or even left or right!
Tumblr media
This is why Anakin (as his 6th dimension self on Mortis) was made to Forget his vision of the future as Vader by The Father (as show to him by The Son). His 3rd Dimension self must not know what the 6th Dimension beings know, or else he would lose the practicality of pure Free Will. He must not know his future to retain Free Will. 3rd Dimension beings must have the "forgetting" (of our true selves beyond time) to have the Free Will to chose and make the "right" decisions. Right being that which helps us to evolve to our higher, better selves - which is always ultimately choices of oneness and love. Interesting to note that The Father makes Anakin forget his vision as Vader by touching his 3rd Eye spot, above eyebrows, centre forehead. The 3rd is known as the “Seeing Eye” of the greater spiritual reality.
Tumblr media
On Ahsoka. She is speaking to her Sixth Dimension self , an actually entity or being, not a Force Ghost. Not sure why she wasn't made to "forget" for the sake Free Will, but I suspect it may be she is existing more as "The Daughter" with a path a little higher than Anakin's. Perhaps Ahsoka is in a higher sate of vibrational frequency based on her willingness to consistently chose love, thus can see her 6th Dimension self more clearly - as she is more at one with it -  Because she consistently choses light and love. She loves Anakin by compassionately not giving up on him. She loves Lux by letting go. She loves citizens by insisting on assisting those in need, through empathy. She loves Ezra by helping him etc etc. Still, She has one last lesson - she needs to love the Jedi by forgiving them. She needs to heal that separation in herself and them, before she can be one with her Sixth Dimension self (Daughter). I suspect that is perhaps a theme the Ahsoka show will touch on (based on the imagery of the logo, which seems very evocative of Mortis and World Between Worlds (Rebels) stuff. Btw, has anyone translated the text circling the logo?
Tumblr media
"I am here because you are here" - Qui-Gon Jinn to Obi-Wan on Mortis. This means (in all spiritual traditions) that we are all the Creator, God, The Force, Source - whatever you want to call the All that is Everything = we're just different parts of It. Individuations of The Whole. The Force experiencing itself, as The Living Force. The Netherworld is where God is One. The galaxy, the 3rd dimension, is where duality exists so that the parts of God look separate, but in reality, they are one. When the part of God which is you (or you, or you) dies it becomes One again with The Cosmic Force in the Netherworld. That's where Qui-Gon learned how to retain his identity in the Oneness. All of Star Wars has always emphasized this oneness. When we are literally One, that part of Obi-Wan which is Qui-Gon is there, because Obi is there.  Qui-Gon hasn't learned yet how to appear as a body, but Mortis was able to channel and amplify that part of the Force which is Qui-Gon, to that part of The Force which is Obi-Wan.
Tumblr media
Well, this is my take, and like Dave Filoni says on The Clone Wars season 3 Blu Ray bonus feature on Mortis - he’d prefer us to think for ourselves in assessing what this all means, instead of spelling it out. Din
P.S. I read a lot of “spiritual” stuff, have for decades. Most of what I’m talking about here is applicable to what I’ve encountered like the Initiation series with  Matias De Stefano,  “The Law Of One (The Ra Material)” by L/L Research, and perhaps even the work David Wilcock does on Sacred Geometry - if you’re interested in such things. I also have a few more blogs on Mortis and World Between Worlds stuff, which you can find here on my tumblr.

How Luke In The Last Jedi Becomes A Buddha
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Above: Images of Buddha on The Immovable Spot. Luke is on a rock, near the Jedi Tree, overlooking water. Mara attacking Buddha. This is exactly the image of Kylo atop AT-M6s assailing Luke. The below includes the Sun / moon, that Luke looks towards as he passes into The Force I may have posted about this before, but here’s a little summary. Here's how Luke in #TheMandalorian is on an authentic #herosjourney to end up (finally) enlightened in #TheLastJedi, based on the #Buddha.Luke on Crait is essentially the story of 'Buddha On The Immovable Spot'. I particularly like the part that after the onslaught by Mara, Buddha was "not there", meaning no more "I". That's Crait Luke! Anyone who says Luke in TLJ isn't proper "Heroes Journey" hasn't really studied it. The tale goes like this: Mara (Re: KYLO) himself appeared before Siddhartha as a Chakravartin (world ruler), mounted on his elephant (Re: AT-M6s), Girimekhala, accompanied by a large army including monstrous demons wielding powerful and deadly weapons. They attacked Siddhartha (other versions mention unlimited arrows) [Re: AT-M6s FIRING] . The Exalted One (Re: LUKE), without fear, sat still and unharmed. Then and there the Exalted One reached out his right hand to touch the earth (Re: LUKE BRUSHES DIRT OFF) in what is called the Bhumisparsha mudra. Mara challenges the Exalted One. (Re: KYLO VS LUKE). He tries to push and pull Siddhartha away from the immovable spot but there was no-body there (Re: FORCE PROJECTION)Then we get to Luke in The Mandalorian. DIN: "ARE YOU A JEDI?" LUKE:  "I AM" He's still in the ego, the "I", his passions (for the people he loves), his legend, his lightsaber (which he so obviously struts and strides with in sense of his own legend and religious status)That's why he's weary of his legend in TLJ. He's weary of his ego, it's failings. He mistakenly gives up the Jedi to abolish the "I", where what was required for enlightenment, was to abolish the "I" in "The Jedi".Dave Filoni, Jon Favreua & Rian Johnson  know their Hero's Journey.* I first heard the comparison of TLJ Luke and this story from John Marcoux, on the Rebel Force Radio podcast.

Disney’s New Animated Film ‘Soul’ Is One Of The Greatest Spiritual Artworks Of Our Time
"Lost souls are those obsessed with something that disconnects them from life" - #Soulmovie If I've learned one thing over the past few years, it's that my obsession with being a Musician (ego), has separated me from life around me. It even lead to destructive addictions. I was lost in a way - until I recently started helping others in a real way. That was the big key missing from my life. This connected me again. It wasn't me helping anyone, those I "helped" were the true angels who brought me back to myself again. They helped me. I am not just saying that. I mean it. There has been something happening in pop culture mythology that no one really talks about, but is becoming more and more evident. There's a movement out their called "New Spirituality", which is essentially just a movement that uses all knowledge of the great spiritual traditions, mixed with modern understandings of science. I've even heard a prominent A-list writer say that the job of artists today is to present the New Mythology of everything being one - for a globalized and connected planet. Simply put, all matter, all time (past, present, future), even Earth and Heaven (The Two Worlds), soul and body, me and you, are one. That the opportunity to New Mythology to help heal the world is to inspire in people an understanding that all separation is merely an illusion. Whether it's the spiritual and existential explorations of what Lucas did with  #TheCloneWars animated series (Which Dave Filoni then continued in #StarWarsRebels), or the ego dissolvement/quantum cosmic mysticism of the #DoctorStrange film, or the Mexican spirituality of #Coco etc etc., there's an evolving cosmic mythology happening right before our eyes. I actually think Lucas is responsible for instigating a lot of this. He changed the Zeitgeist to a pop spirituality with the first Star Wars. He infused the mythology with New Spirituality concepts with The Phantom Menace ("your focus determines your reality"), and beyond to his TV show (Mortis Trilogy, Yoda Arc etc.) Anyhow, yes, "Lost souls are those obsessed with something that disconnects them from life". The New Mythology is to help inspire people to heal all personal and global disconnection.

The Mandalorian S2 Finale: Not Just Pew Pew Pew. A New Jedi Way Was Revealed
Tumblr media
The spectacular entrance of Luke Sky walker in the season 2 final of The Mandalorian is a clear example of when it is fully appropriate (and needed) for a Jedi to kick poodoo. Seems to me that there is an intentional comment on the grey areas of when to use violence (to save innocent lives) or when to not use it. The scene evokes his entrance into Jabba’s palace, Anakin’s actions on Mustafar with the Trade Federation leaders, and Vader chasing down the stolen Death Star plans in Rogue One – because this scene is intentionally designed to make us asses and reflect on the use of violence.
IIn The Rise Of Skywalker I've always wished Force Ghost Luke said to Rey, "There is a time to lay down your weapon, and there is a time to pick it up". Alas, that movie failed to offer any real wisdom on the sublime reassessment of personal Jedi violence in The Last Jedi. His showdown with Kylo was the time to not use it. Discernment is the Jedi way. An innocent child (and a few others) are about to be murdered. That's is when it's 100% appropriate for a Jedi to do some damage. This is the "knowledge and defense" Yoda spoke of. Luke exemplifies what I have often spoken about regarding theme of the "knowledge" of Good and Evil in Star Wars. He's using a sort of force choke power to crush the life out of a murderous Darktrooper robot. Is he using a "Dark" power there, and is it ok given the context? I say yes. Especially as it's a droid. Know your darkness, don't let it control your actions. Control your reaction to it. Luke is acting from a state of internal balance and centre, regarding his Light and Dark sides. ADDENDUN (1.2.21). I’ve been reflecting on Luke’s Force choke, and though I agree a Jedi is to use violence only in defence (especially of a child in the case), I do think this choke was not needed. He could have simply dispatched the last Darktrooper with a simple and humble saber slash. This use symbolizes that Luke still has inner violence, arrogance and ego - which is a perfect way to set up who he becomes by the time of The Last Jedi.
Anakin does the same actions, but not from his centre of balance, but from unaligned reactionary anger. The problem some fans make is assuming that once a Jedi (or anyone) attains centre and balance, that it will last a lifetime. No. The struggle to balance internal darkness and violence is a lifelong struggle for everyone. He may be centered now, but maybe not 10 year in the future. He may succeed with Grogu, where he fails with Kylo.
In letting go of Grogu, Din Djarin exhibits pure, selfless love. There is a joyful sadness here (and a wonderfully poetic riff on The Phantom Menace scene where little Anakin parts with his mother. There is nothing in life that we can hold on to, we can only hold on to our own ability to chose to love selflessly. This ending is a profoundly healthy take on an essentially Lucasian Star Wars theme. I'm sure the pair will be reunited, and that Luke won't reinstate the old Jedi's failed attempt at absolute separation of family attachments. The opportunity now for SW, Luke and The Jedi, is for a new journey, and healthier, more evolved approach to the emotion intelligence and attachments of students. The first class at the new Academy should be "Emotional Intelligence For Padawans 101". I think this Luke (given his experiences his Dad) will want a healthy relationship for Din and Grogu....

More On The Meaning Of The Balance Of The Force: Dave Filoni, Mortis, Grey Jedi & Colin Trevorrow's Duel Of The Fates
Tumblr media
Above: The Prime Jedi Mural in The Last Jedi. Cleary both sides are in balance.
Tumblr media
Above: The Father and his Mortis monastery throne which looks like a scale.  Here are my thoughts on The Balance Of The Force, which is essentially a metaphor for the concept of Duality in many, if not most of the world’s spiritualities. Simply put, there is no balance without the two sides, like a scale.
Balancing Selfishness With Selflessness: You Can’t Forget Your-Self
"The Dark of The Force, for me, it's in you and your actions when you are afraid, and when you do things to service yourself above other people" - #DaveFiloni
The key about Balance here is in the world "above." It does not mean don't be selfish at all (self-love essentially means giving to yourself). It means Balance in giving to yourself, just not above other people in an out of Balance way. That's the balance of Dark and Light. When you do this, both sides are in balance, and neither side is acting harmfully in any way towards anyone, including yourself. I tell you this. The ultimate lie we tell ourselves is that we are not being selfish, or should not be. I've observed many self righteous and judgemental people are often doing their "just" thing to give to themselves, and the real danger is they don't even realize the are actually being selfish. They are out of balance in terms of their awareness of their motives, but they appear to be aligned with the Light. The other extreme is you can give to others while never giving to yourself and you will be very unhappy, and out of Balance - you will have let yourself get unhealthy in a myriad of ways. That's when Darkness will grow out of Balance. That's how moving towards a so-called Light source creates a bigger Shadow behind you. So give to yourself in a Balanced way, just not at the expense of others. Give to others in a Balanced way, just not at the expense of Yourself. The one concept we haven't been willing to admit in Western society, is the truth that we will always be selfish - we just need to keep it in Balance with selflessness. "Too much Light or Dark would be the undoing of life as you understand it." - The Father (in Mortis).
A Grey Jedi Film Could Finally Make Star Wars Relevant In Asian Markets
This is why the Grey Jedi concept that gas gained traction lately may actually be a very apt metaphor, and could actually be used in the movies to explored more layers of understanding. Also sounds like this is why actor #SimaLiu of the MCU’s upcoming #ShangChi film would like to play a Grey Jedi, the grey areas of heroes in Asian war epic and fantasy films has always been more nuanced, and less polarized. According to a good friend of mine born in China, the polarized approach of Star Wars is one of the reasons it doesn’t catch hold of people’s imaginations there. My friend also found The Last Jedi to be the most interesting SW film for similar nuances with Luke. This could actually be a way for Star Wars to be relevant there.
Colin Trevorrow's Idea Of Balance In Duel Of The Fates Was Actually On Point
I've been very compelled by the QUESTIONING of what "Balance" means in Colin Trevorrow's Duel Of The Fates script. And trying to wrap my head around why some don't like the idea (and why I formerly didn't either). I have come to the conclusion, that like this writer, these people claim to have studied what Dark & Light means in Religion and Spirituality across history and time on this planet - but they actually have not. In my opinion, the misunderstanding of "The Knowledge Of Good And Evil" is essentially because our minds are still conditioned by the view of it in the 3 major Western religions. The power and beauty of this script is that it begs the audience to question what the word "embrace" truly means, in context of both the Dark and Light sides. The simple and clear answer is it means that we are One with the Entirety of Creation. All of it. Every single part of it. There is nothing we are not One with. Even The Sith. Now. What does that mean? It means love it. It means accept it. It mean give that part of yourself a caring hug. It does not mean give in to the Dark Side. It means love yourself - both sides. Just think about the world embrace. It's love. Loving your duality (an "embrace") is how you practically don't risk repressing it. If you repress it, it will rear it's big ugly beastly head when you do not expect it to. And you will not be able to control yourself, those emotions, at that point. You need to but them in Balance- through awareness. That's one reason to meditate. This would have a good effect on an audience. I mean. look what the misunderstanding has done to many? The people who judge the Darkness in others, tend to eventually be consumed by their own Darkness.... They misunderstand Balance. The lesson here? Don't be so sure your extreme attempts towards the Light (in the Trinity of Creation: Thought - Word - Action) have had a good effect on the world (or you). Same for the Dark. In my opinion, Colin's script ended on a pretty good (and sound) personification of the mural of The Prime Jedi. You likely disagree, but the I'd argue that Colin's script is a refreshingly bold take on that age old question. Even more important than the answer, is that it asks the question, through Rey.
Much of the Western World may not be ready for this understanding yet, but I believe that the sheer ubiquitousness of Grey Jedi stuff in fandom represents a need for a more layered understanding. An awakening is happening. The end of civilization is upon us. We have all taken part in the Light and Dark duality that has created that - whether we drive a car or buy plastic products etc. Everyone of us has participated in that in some way. We are about to be forced to accept it. Actually we are already in the Covid / climate change world - but that is another post.

The Cruciform Poetry of Rey & Anakin Skywalker
Tumblr media
Image (Clockwise from left): Crossed sabers in Revenge Of The Sith, The Rise Of Skywalker, Attack Of The Clones and The Clone Wars TV series. The Rise Of Skywalker ended with what I believe to be a worthy statement to end the Skywalker saga. In Revenge Of The Sith Anakin signifies the fall of the Jedi by turning them completely to unadulterated violence when he crucifies the unarmed Dooku on his crossed (saber), at Palpatine's bidding. This is an intentional cruciform symbol. He uses this form to defend himself against Dooku in the previous film. He uses to almost kill Dooku in The Clone Wars episode 'Crisis On Naboo.' In Rise, Rey uses this "cross" poetically on Palpatine to return "All the Jedi" to the way of "knowledge and defense, never for attack." She has this knowledge, likely learning about Anakin's mistake in her studies, and from her repeat of that mistake by executing Kylo earlier. This ending of the Skywalker saga true to the spirit and themes as presented in the entire Lucasfilm saga.

The Last Jedi Isn’t The film That Failed Luke; The Rise Of Skywaker Is
Tumblr media
The Rise Of Skywalker fails in terms of the purpose of Luke’s sacrifice on Crait, and how that Buddha-Jesus like effort spirituality unified the people as one. Compare Lando and surprise fleet arriving, to Theoden and his army’s arrival in The Return Of The King. What Luke did on Crait was the start of a truly emotional and spiritual payoff for Rise. He gave the galaxy that hope, in a truly pragmatic spark. Without that paying off in Rise, the ending didn't have the potential it could have had. I felt nothing when the “fleet of people” came, due to that. Whereas in ROTK, I lose my poodoo when Theoden shows up, and that speech! Lando could have at least been given the lines, “My buddy Luke galvanized the galaxy, well, that and my amazing charm!”. Aside from the wonderful Han/Kylo/Rey stuff, the climax of Rise was a total waste of emotional potential, as set up by The Last Jedi. Reducing Luke’s journey to "I was wrong” is like saying Canadian UN Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire was wrong after he became suicidal with PTSD on streets after the horrors he witnessed in Rwanda. Luke wasn't wrong. He just was what he was. Anyways, he showed Rey how to transcend where he was, and how to do it "right". He already taught her not to seclude herself, with the most powerful Star Wars scene ever (in my opinion) on Crait. "I was wrong" is a completely irrelevant and unneeded "lesson." Everything he needed to teach her, he already had in The Last Jedi. "The whole point of the film is for you to be real uplifted, emotionally and spiritually, and feel absolutely about life. That is the greatest thing we could ever do" - George Lucas to Lawrence Kasden on the point of Return Of The Jedi.  Tolkien's Eucatastrophe means more than "happy ending" it’s more about a profound joy - the Paschal mystery, perhaps. While I feel TROS got this right with Kylo and Han, as well as he and Rey (those two moments tear me up), the movie fails in terms of the purpose of Luke’s sacrifice on Crait, and how that would unify the people. I feel nothing when the people’s fleet arrives, due to the fact that JJ Abrams ignored the sacrifice that would weave my emotions into that moment. The Last Jedi isn’t the film that failed Luke, The Rise Of Skywaker is.

Hero’s Journey For Force Ghosts Could Have Ended On Mortis In TROS: Anakin, Luke & Leia As New Father, Son & Daughter
Tumblr media
I was fortunate to be guest on the Jan.17.20 episode of The Star Wars Underworld podcast, in it we looked at the leaked episode IX script of ‘Duel Of The Fates’ script by director/writer Colin Trevorrow’s.  My personal conclusion, was that if The Rise Of Skywalker included more ideas (not all by any means) from Colin’s script, then I would have gotten a movie I was much more happy with. They key things concepts I preferred in Duel were: Rey as nobody, significant Rose development, use of Luke’s sacrifice in The Last Jedi, and finally, Mortis as the location of he final showdown. While the Duel script did not have Palpatine on Mortis, I believe that by one simple move of having JJ Abram’s finale at that location instead of Exogal, would have provided a more meaningful ending to the entire Star Wars saga. I should note that I thought JJ’s finale here was the perfect ending for the ST, but for the saga, it could be much more mind blowing on Mortis. Here’s why. The New Sith Place Themselves Above The Force The Sith culmination in Palpatine, is that they are no longer just Dark Side adherents, but that since Plagueis, want to dominate both the Light and Dark side, buy creating and prolonging life. They want power over life itself (which always contains both sides). Essentially they want to have power over God. The Clone Wars TV series established the canon of Mortis being a “Heaven” like realm governed by a Trinity of Gods: The Father, Son and Daughter. In TCW “Mortis Arc”, all three are destroyed. Thus still balanced, as no one of the three has dominion. As The Father stated, if The Son were to gain control on Mortis, so would the SIth in the “real” galaxy. In short, when Palpatine survives the 2nd Death Star, he can eventually make his way to dominate fill the vacuum The Force and galaxy on Mortis, by making himself God. Instead of a Trinity that represents all of life, it is now man making himself God, not representing all life, but dominating it. This is concept in mythology through the ages. It is the Devil trying to rule Heaven etc. So, if Star Wars is going to end somewhere big, let’s really go big. The biggest idea Lucas left us with is Mortis. In place of The Father’s throne, flanked by the scales of the Son and Daughter, would be just one throne, as we saw it in Rise.
Tumblr media
Mortis Is An Amplifier Of The Force Which Solves Many Issues Qui-Gon Jinn appeared to Obi-Wan in TCW on Mortis, and informed him that Mortis was an”amplifier” of The Force. This would help to provide a more plausible reason for Sidious to be there as it would enable him to suck the Life Force our of Rey and Kylo. It was already established in TCW that The Daughter could give her life there to save Ahsoka’s. So we can surmise that taking life there would also be more possible.  Anakin, Luke & Leia Become The New Father, Son & Daughter! After Rey defeats Palpatine and Ben saves Rey (exactly as in Rise), three of the Jedi voices would now appear on Mortis. Anakin, Luke and Leia. The start as see through blue ghosts, but as they look warmly on Rey, they explain to her that the “The victory for all time” (that Yoda spoke of after he learned to become a Force Ghost and teach other Jedi how), has been achieved. That their mission from The Force has been completed, and that they will “fade” on Mortis in balance, as Rey has balanced the galaxy. This is very much like Gandalf, Frodo and the Elves fading to the Grey Havens at the end of Return Of The King. As notable Star Wars actor Sam Witwer (Darth Maul) pointed out, The Force Ghosts have been evolving through the movies from the voice of Qui-Gon to Ben and finally to Yoda in TLJ, in a way where they become more solid as the movies progress. Yoda is see through, then solid in TLJ as he whacks Luke on the head with his staff! In this moment Anakin, Luke and Leia would look solid - symbolizing the finality of their accomplished journey. Before they turn see through again and fade away, they take their seats on the Trinity throne, Anakin where the Father was, and flanked by Leia and Luke. They finally fade and Anakin is symbolized as The Chosen one on Mortis as the Father claimed was his destiny.  Yoda’s victory for all time has been achieved, and The Force Ghost are no longer needed in the galaxy to “help one who will bring balance” as The Priestesses stated intention for teaching Yoda how.  Anakin is the One who brought balance to Mortis (The Cosmic Force / the Heavenly world). Rey is the One who brought balance to the galaxy (The Living Force / the physical word). And finally, “The two world are actually one”, which Joseph Campbell taught was the ultimate conclusion of the Hero’s Journey.  This is the ultimate ending for the Star Wars saga!

The Ultimate Achievement of the ST Is It Succeeded At Making The Mythological Messiah Archetype Female For The First Time In A few Thousand Years
Tumblr media
I’ve been reflecting on the Sequel Trilogy now that it’s over, really trying to boil down one clear statement of what it really means. What did it actually do? What is it’s big achievement? Like, really. Without all the noise of fan gripes, and controversial details. Once the one big sweeping success if it? Well, it’s ultimately that one of the world's biggest mythologies succeeded beyond anyone’s wildest imagination in creating a female messiah figure, for maybe the first time in thousands of years. One that resonated enough to be a 2 billion dollar intro film and grew into a successful trilogy that means something to girls everywhere. You can not overstate that. That is it’s single greatest achievement. Anyways, below is smoothing along these lines that I wrote to some of my Star Wars friends a few days ago. It will be my last SW blog in a while. I’m pretty exhausted from all the new content and fan reactions, but I wanted to make one last post that would sum it all up for me.  After a few days of reflecting on the blog I wrote about the STs (yes, not just TLJ) deconstructionism as symbolized in Anakin's/Luke's broken saber, and Rey reconstructed yellow-reyed saber, I've concluded they succeeded in the best way they could have. And it already happened in The Force Awakens. The deconstructed male messiah saviour lead archetype was successfully reconstructed into a female in the arguable most successful franchise of all time. Her lineage is secondary to that. The new Rey of light is a female. End of story (for me). For me. Goal achieved. And she has everything she needs inside her. And the ending yellow saber has a greater connotation of new en-light-enment achieved to light the way forward. If Star Wars is to follow it’s path, it must keep pushing along these lines. Not regressing as it did with Rose in The Rise Of Skywalker.
That's why it's actually good that the alleged Force Ghosts were replaced with audio Rise. Those Jedi would have stolen the spotlight from her at that most crucial (cru-ciform) moment. This new light is about the girl. Her name is 'Rey Skywalker'. The new messiah archetype is for once, in the past 4000+ years, finally a female. I don't say that lightly.
Anyhow, I've spent a few days making sure that's my final opinion. And btw, if Dominic Monaghan is campaigning for a director's cut, as a friend of JJ Abrams I would say that means there is some truth that JJs vision wasn't fully released (to some degree). Although, Dom thinks the film needs more him at the expense of Rose, which is so mind numbingly ignorant I can’t even... Anyways, I'm not agreeing with any side of fandom that's wants a directors cut for their bias - I just want this JJs true full vision, for good or ill.  My gut has told me the movie was too short from the get go. I feel it in my gut that JJ may have wanted more in it. It seems to messy for him. His movies are always tight
Christmas day is the longest night of the year. The Winter Solstice. Jesus is light symbol, and that’s why that day was chosen for his birth.  Days start getting longer and lighter after that. It was a pagan holiday for the same reason, birth of the sun. The last shot is the new pop Jesus in a Middle Eastern desert. They yellow saber is the colour of the sun. Can you see the light? People may ask, what does this mean for the Jedi? The real question is, what does this mean for the Saviour of The Light archetype. The yellow light-saber was a perfect reflection of the single most important shot in all of the Disney era SW: Rey catching the saber in TFA instead of Kylo.  In one single stroke they succeeded in giving one of the world's biggest mythologies a female messiah figure that resonated enough to be a 2 billion dollar film and a movie that meant something to girls everywhere. You can not overstate that achievement. You might say that other franchises in the past occasionally had a female lead (Like Alien or Hunger Games), but none a messiah archetype figure in an actual global mythology that even spawned a registered religion (regrettably on the latter point).
The Son (sun) is female. Time for a little break but I’ll see you all here soon, The Clone Wars is coming! Din
P.S. As for giving everyone the feeling they have that power too (Rey as a nobody from nowhere really is a great idea), they needed to show Finn using The Force more fully towards the end. Instead of yelling "Rey" all the time, they should have said something visually about him. If there is truth to the claims that JJ shot that and was in his supposed 3 hour cut, that's the one thing I want to see the most

There Was Always an ST Plan: To Find A New Rey Of Light
Huge SPOILERS from #TheRiseOfSkywalker
I never pull this card, but I graduated the "Harvard of Art colleges" #OCADu with honours, scholarship awards and chosen as the one student to represent my Sculpture/Installation program to the Ontario gov. I'm pulling this card this one time so people know it's actually my trained profession to assess this stuff.
#TheLastJedi was the culmination of the #deconstructivism that actually started in TFA, and TROS was the intended reconstruction. I have chosen the most prominent intentional symbol of this, Rey's lightsabers.
Short #arthistory lesson. #Deconstruction in #arttheory came out of #Enlightenment  France, as a tool to revaluate the old light (the failed values of the Church) and to reconstruct a new light, a new path, a hopefully more "reasoned" way forward. The point is the reconstruction. Not deconstruction for deconsruction's sake. #RianJohnson knew that his deconstructed elements would be so that the next film could find new light. He had direction from #KathleenKennedy, especially regarding #Palpatine. That's where TLJ fans sometimes viewed that film in error. They thought, oh it's so Avant-Garde, he killed Snoke, he killed that trope in SW. No he didn't. He wrote it for the twist that was coming in Rise. That's why #Snoke theories never sucked. Well, RJ wrote it both ways, that is what is so truly brilliant, both a deconsruction and an opening for the coming twist. For the record, RJ is "my" director, I want more SW from him. Rey's broken saber (also Luke and Anakin's) is the perfect symbol for the deconstructed view of the Jedi light that Luke taught Rey in TLJ, "To think that if the Jedi die, the light dies, is vanity, can you see that?"
Anyways, I also love #JJAbrams, and his reconstructed answer to this is a new symbol of light, Rey's self constructed new yellow lightsaber. A new en-light-emment. A new Rey of light. (What this yellow symbol means is whole other blog), but the point is that we all think for ourselves about what this means.
I submit to you, the fans that are angry there was "no ST plan", that it's time to rethink your own assumptions. It's in Rey's name, which JJ chose. Reconstructing the rey of light of what SW is, was always the intention of the creators of this trilogy.
To think that if the light is deconstructed, the light dies is vanity, can you see that?

Spiritual Concepts In ‘The Rise Of Skywalker’
Tumblr media
These are thoughts I’ve organized from the fury of text conversations I’ve had with friends since the release of #TheRiseOfSkywalker. I didn’t edit too much, as there is a truth to the immediacy felt in it. Rise is challenging movie to me, it’s the definition of fun, but there are some cheap quips in it that betray it’s soul and depth. And it is deeply symbolic film, true to original creator George Lucas in that sense. For the record, some of these ideas have been stolen from, or embellished on from my conversations with great friends in the Star Wars community. Thank you, its in the sharing of this saga that we can begin to uncover its secrets! SPOILERS ahead The Most Powerful Line Of Jedi Wisdom In The ST & Why Han Is The Greatest Spiritual Idea In It (At-One-Ment) There is a line from TLJ always grabs me as the most profound SW wisdom next to Qui-Gon’s “Your focus determines reality”. When Yoda says, “There is nothing in the Jedi library that Rey does not already posses”, It's not just props to Rey. It's that when all is One, as The Force claims, everyone has that One power in them. All the knowledge. All the wisdom. All the Connection to the One. Everyone possesses it just by being born and made of the same stuff. According to Campbell and all the teachers, that is the most important truth. At least TROS picks up on that enough to show how Rey is connected to all Jedi, Han has a will in The Force (aided by Leia's help) and even Finn. However, when all is One, Rey (and everyone) is also just as connected to The Sith, but that's a whole other theological tributary for another time. Anyways, Han is either a Force Ghost, or just Kylo's memory. Either way, when all is One, it all comes from The One! Everything in the galaxy literally IS The Force. So whether The Force (Or God or Whatever) talk to us, or whether we make it up, it's the same thing!  So Kylo has it in him too. But I believe it's both. The One Force is in Kylo, and Han, and Leia. So Han really appears.       In an interview with Hollywood Reporter co-writer Chris Terrio  says this scene was important for the ‘Atonement With Father’ element of the Hero's Journey in Rise, and his take is that Han is simply a memory. But my explanation is better, as I think that spirituality is embedded in the Hero’s Journey, and that creators touch on it eaither consciously or subconsciously. It’s embedded in the word: At-One-ment!
Rhyming Lightsaber Cruciforms  There absolutely gorgeous and subtle visual Star Wars poetry at its best. Rey uses two swords in a cross-cruciform to not attack Palpatine but "use the force for knowledge and defence." Thereby undoing Anakin's mistake of violently using two sabers in a cross-cruciform to execute Dooku in #RevengeOfTheSith. In one move, like Luke showed her on Crait, she uses her sabers nonviolently to let Palpatine destroy himself, and to continue Luke's new Jedi way.
The Nobody From Nowhere  To set the record straight, Anakin was the real "nobody from nowhere" born to a nobody slave woman, on the most nowhere planet. It was not a new idea, it was just being pushed to evolve as a concept in #TheLastJedi. The real revolution was making the new lead a girl, and that was #TheForceAwakens. Anyways I digress, I simply need to put this Anakin thing back out into the universe. No, Palpatine did not create him, The Force did. I just think we tend to see things very black and white. This should at least be considered, for nuance.      I’m Fine With Rey’s Lineage, as was clear in #TheForceAwakens (her musical theme is a Hero’s Journey subversion of the Emperors theme) but the nobody idea  would have been a better way to tie her to Anakin, on the simple fact that they are both nobodies.       What is the spiritual logic that supports this idea? When All is One in The Force, all have equal access to it, based on the simle fact that All is One. Thus, our characters can connect to it, to co-create with it, as Creators. However, in contrast, one will cannot dominate the All, because the  All is true Power, the Only Power. The Only Power. It's what One spirituality is. Thus, The Sith separate themselves from true power. It’s ironic isn’t it? The very act of seeking power, is what separates the Sith from true power (All as One), literally. idea)       This concept is given further weight with the Force awakening of Finn, and even the new character Jannah. Finally, let’s not forget that other nobody from nowhere, Broom Boy!    Palpatine Is Still Trying To Impose His Will On The Force  The Sith attempted to impose it’s will on The Force in domination, not co-creation, created life. So The Force acted in response and balanced that with creating Anakin. The reason this is an important spiritual concept is that The Sith through ego try and have power OVER The Force. The Force says "No" and acts outside of their attempt. In short, the message is that one cannot control God, basically. One can only act in harmony with (That's why Jedi listen for its will). The Sith tried to impose its will by creating life. One cannot create OVER God. One can create WITH God. This is where it gets beautifully profound        The Plagueis novel brilliantly depicts this by often emphasizing how Plagueis wanted to dominate the Force. It's the ultimate ego. The ultimate futility. The Force which is "All", cannot be subject to one little part (an individual's will) in the All  Trees On Mustafar There are so many little homages to #TheReturnOfTheKing in this film. The most powerful is Kylo holding a seemingly dead Rey, like how Sam held Frodo in Mordor. A more subtle one I love is the tree symbolism. The smallest of hopes in defeating Sauron was symbolized by a single flower blooming on the leafless White Tree of Gondor. In TROS, trees have returned to the once only volcanic surface of Mustafar. Also ties into the burning of the Jedi Tree in TLJ, so this could potentially symbolize a new Jedi presence and The Force emerging in the galaxy. By contrast, Palpatine’s throne is a dead tree. Why Is Rey’s New Lightsaber Yellow At The End? As mentioned above, Rey destroyed Palpatine on the cruciform of her sabers, in “knowledge and defence”, non-violently, Before the Jedi turned to violence by becoming warrior in the Prequels, the Jedi Temple guards had yellow sabers. So the symbolism here seems to be that Rey’s new ay (and even possible school) will be more about protecting people, and the way of the Jedi. Also a great tie to Luke’s lesson to her in TLJ, “To think that if the Jedi disappear that so will light is vanity, can you feel that?”. So the yellow “rey” of light, is literally that light still remaining even after she buries the sabers of the old Jedi way.
* * *
I’m sure I’ll add more to this as I continue to uncover the hidden meaning in the wonderful film. Thanks for reading!
