Help a Family in Need

I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Mohamad S., who is facing one of the most challenging times of his life. Mohamad is 37 years old and left his homeland in 2015 in search of a safer and better future. He’s a kind, hardworking man, and his small family has always been his greatest priority.

Living abroad, Mohamad has recently endured unimaginable loss and financial strain. Amidst the ongoing conflict in his homeland, his mother passed away, leaving behind his sister and her five young children—the last remaining members of his immediate family.

As the situation worsened, Mohamad managed to help his sister and her children escape to safety in Egypt, covering their immediate needs and securing a temporary refuge for them. Since then, he has been fully responsible for providing everything they need to survive during this transition.

In his efforts to support his family and cope with this devastating loss, Mohamad has found himself deeply in debt. To make matters even more difficult, he recently underwent knee surgery, which limits his ability to return to work for the foreseeable future. This has made it even harder for him to manage his financial responsibilities and the pressing need to provide his family with a stable future.

Mohamad is now working to bring his sister and her five children to join him in Belgium, where he hopes they can find stability and opportunity after all they’ve endured. This transition, however, requires significant resources that he is currently unable to meet alone.

For privacy reasons, we are not sharing Mohamad’s full name, as he has chosen to keep his identity discreet. While he initially refused the idea of asking for help, I couldn’t stand by and watch him struggle alone. I insisted on doing this for him because he deserves a chance to overcome these challenges.

Your contribution will help Mohamad repay the debt incurred during this difficult time, cover ongoing living expenses for his family, and assist with the costs involved in bringing them safely to Belgium.

Mohamad has been a good friend of mine for years, and I’ve always admired his resilience and generosity. Any support, no matter the size, will make an incredible difference in helping Mohamad and his family rebuild their lives after these painful experiences.

Thank you for reading his story and considering helping a man who has always done everything he can for his loved ones.

Why Maura goes barefoot, does she do it only indoors, or outdoors as well (like in the city streets)?

I HOPE NOT IN THE CITIES :O

I like to think she goes barefoot outside in a let’s-connect-to-nature kind of way, but I certainly hope she wears shoes in the city or town!

Is The Raven Cycle a summer series or an autumnal series??

For me it has always reminded me of summertime - like the kind of summer where it is humid and you feel sweaty and like iced tea is the only thing that will save you. It reminds me of the summer adventures I had in the woods with the neighborhood kids growing up

What do you guys think?? I’m so curious because I see it both ways all!!

When Maura sees something really cool in Blue's future, does she tell her, or does she tease her like "wait and see"?

If I’m remembering correctly, I think she does a little bit of both but definitely leaning on the teasing side! I believe it’s talked about in the first book!!

I like to think that Maura teases Blue, or even creates obviously fake and absurd scenarios she “saw” in Blue’s future just to mess with her. Like absolutely crazy ideas. Maybe the rest of the 300 Fox way ladies start harassing Blue too haha

I know the TRB graphic novel isn’t even out yet, but I wanna talk about all the scenes in future books I’m so excited to see get drawn and in color:

Adam and Persephone’s last conversation, drinking cherry colas and sitting together outside the general store: “We’re not really like the others,” and “This is the last time, isn’t it?”

Gansey, after he finds Glendower, when he collapses by the picnic table. Then, Blue’s there and “somehow there was no humiliation to her seeing him leveled.”

Gansey comforting Blue after Persephone’s death. That scene is so painful and dear to me.

Blue and Gansey in the Camaro, pressed against each other, “What was a kiss without a kiss? It was a tablecloth tugged from beneath a party service.”

Adam’s little smile that took two years off Greenmantle’s life!!

The church scene! Enough said! But also: “It was possible that there were two gods in this church” !!! and “Next time you can die alone.” UGHHHH

And for some reason, my favorite scene in the whole series: a river of blood and blue petals, and Adam blindfolded in the backseat. Ronan saying, “Do you ever feel like things are coming full circle? Do you…”

Bonuses: Henry Cheng’s Madonna T-Shirt, Gwenllian trying to kill Blue’s father, and the Gray man watching Kavinsky and Ronan get high as hell and dream an entire field of white Mitsubishis while he realizes that the Greywaren is, in fact, not an object.
