Sometimes you just need to draw your OC as Howl Jenkins Pendragon.
Tumblr media
I don't draw often, and I don't know how hair, shadows, eyes or just faces in general work so just. Don't perceive too hard, please and thank youuu 💕
Not pictured is the first drawing I did that looks worse and took me longer so we're ignoring it.

Pairing: Seir x GN!Reader Content: Mental Breakdown, Comfort, Fluff Warnings: Mild Angst, Implication of death Word Count: 3000~
Make the content you want to see in the world... AKA project your problems, so fictional men can make you feel better~ I played the Salvus Aries demo and I am invested. Absolutely great art, music and writing! Characters (Especially Seir <3) are lovable and I actually enjoy interacting with them all! Might be more content of them coming in the future, we shall see!
ALSO sorry if he’s OOC. I’m trying my best! I kind of hate this but this is the first bigger thing I’ve written in about 2 years so... I’m chucking it into the void.
Tumblr media
With every time Y/n rolled over, adjusting their blanket and shuffling their weight around to try and find even a semblance of comfort, they tipped further and further into irrational anger and deprecation.
Thoughts spun in their head, all threads that tangled and wove together. One would start before becoming intertwined with another; an unpredictable path that held no real destination. Although not a problem in and of itself… just a single thread, one derelict strand to tangle with the others. Then there would be no peace. Unfortunately, Y/n had started with more than one bad thread when they'd laid down to sleep.
In the dark there was nothing to distract from the ravenous thoughts that sought to consume them. Tears, derived from frustration, had begun to soak into the pillows. Cool stains that they felt upon their cheek when they sought a new position and tossed and turned. Their breaths were shaky. In and out but with a certain shudder to them. It was then that a thought pierced through the rest. A fleeting need, so brief that it didn't have the opportunity to tangle.
Hastily they clambered toward the bedside, kicking off the blankets that tangled around their legs- something that had become a confinement rather than a comfort. Skittering across the floor, shifting from foot to foot in attempt to minimize any contact with the cold and unforgiving floor that nipped at their feet, unrelenting in its attacks. Quietly they hurried, afraid that even the slightest noise would result in a crowd of… particularly vexed men. That was not something they wanted. Anything but them…
In hindsight, Y/n realized they must have looked a fool; freezing like a deer in headlights in the middle of a lit hallway in the wee hours of the morning. In that moment, of course, it wasn't even a thought that crossed their mind.
Instead they were adamant on getting to the elevator. They needed out- they needed space, they needed fresh air.
The ping as the elevator doors opened gave Y/n a start as their nerves were at an all time high. They started out of the elevator, eyes shifting quickly around the area. For but a moment their anxieties were dwarfed. Before them was a beautiful serene garden. There were various plants, all healthy and lusciously green- their colour a stark contrast to the gleam of the city lights that lit up the city around this oasis. Idly turning, feet finding their way on their own, Y/n drank in the sights. It felt like something from a fairy tale… but so was the idea of Reapers, Angles, Purgatory…
The noise of the elevator doors quickly snuffed out this atmosphere. Their fleeting peace was stripped from them as the twisted threads began to tangle again. Now the rooftop felt empty; and forbidden. It felt as though they were akin to sneaking out of their parents house to party… Even though the roof wasn't off limits and they lived here now. They'd wanted some fresh air and to escape the confines of their room and by all accounts they had accomplished that… so why did they feel no better?
Y/n took a breath. Deep inhale, slow exhale. Every breath out they banished another thought until there was nothing left. Now more at peace, they began looking for something to keep them occupied. The rooftop really was something to behold. There were plush chairs, tables with candles whose flames danced on the wick, so many types of plants they Y/n wasn't sure if they'd ever even seen them all before in their life- or previous life, rather. There was a pool too. The undisturbed water was like a mirror from certain angles. It reflected the moon and the stars; an attempt to contain something that never could truly be captured. From other angles, however, you would see straight to the bottom. The lights in the floor of the pool kept away the dancing shadows that came and went as the wind caused ripples.
They briefly considered the thought of going for a midnight swim, however logic won out in the end. They didn't have anything to dry off with and if going to the rooftop didn't get them in trouble, then tracking water through the halls probably would. Instead they took to simply staring at the scenery.
In fact, the tranquility had worked so well that they'd been lulled into their own world. One of ignorance, but peaceful silence. This ignorance, however, meant they did not hear the chime of the elevator as it arrived at the top floor and opened its doors to deliver yet another guest to the rooftop terrace.
Seir peered out past the doors, surveying the garden with his calm, collected gaze. Nothing looked amiss, everything was the same as how'd they'd last left it… However he knew that could not be the case. Someone had used the elevator earlier. That meant it likely wasn't a threat, only the residents of the building had access inside. Perhaps it was Orias?
He strode out onto the patio, footsteps only sounding above a whisper.
"Whose- Seir?"
He turned toward the voice, finding none other than Y/n. They were huddled up on one of the sofas that faced the pool, blocked from view from the elevator due to the bustle of plants.
In a few smooth strides he had come to stand before them, who looked up at him with wide eyes. Seir knew something was wrong immediately. There were emotions warring between each other. Waves rolling to and froe in her eyes. He hoped he could help.
Y/n was quite shocked to find the angel standing before them. His floor was a number away from their own, so how he'd had any indication they were up here, they didn't know. He didn't seem the type to wander around in the middle of the night either… Waving the thought away, they tried their best to offer a smile although they could tell it came out wobbly.
"What brings you up here, Seir? Would you… Would you like to sit with me?"
They'd given out the invitation before they'd really thought about it. Of course they weren't about to revoke it- that would probably lead to at least one of them crying. The angel smiled, as he always did, and thanked them. In one graceful movement he had plopped down beside them, their shoulders pressed together.
A silence settled between them. Not quite comfortable, but not awkward either. Y/n had gone back to staring, the vacancy showing in the way their face settled. Waiting a moment more to see if they would come to him themself, Seir lightly turned his head. They just needed a little coaxing.
Lifting his arm he graciously offered his hand to them. Only sparing a brief glance at it, Y/n took it. Their hand was a little cool, but Seir knew they had been up here for enough time for the chill to have set in. He brought their clasped hands to his lap to rest and he found himself rubbing the pad of his thumb across their skin. This slight action, much to Seir's delight, caused Y/n to relax. Their shoulders slumped and they let go of a deep breath.
"Something ails you, I can see it in your eyes." He spoke softly, voice just above a whisper.
Y/n felt as though their heart was going to collapse. Just a couple of words, spoken with such kindness that they had to remind themselves they were talking to a literal angel. Although… even if he cared for everyone… it was nice to hear those words regardless. They didn’t remember everything from their time as a human but they knew enough. Enough to know they suffered a long time in silence.
"I'm… I'm alright. Thank you for the concern, Seir." They offered a weak smile in return, choosing to focus on the feeling of his thumb rubbing circles into their hand. "Is there anything I can help you with? My shoulder is always yours." Once again a voice filled with warmth. "I'm taking that literally." With a light laugh, Y/n let their head flop to the side and settle on Seir's shoulder. He merely chuckled and laid his head atop theirs. "I just… I know I shouldn’t worry about it, it's already happened and all but…" with their words went their confidence. Admitting it out loud seemed impossibly daunting. For a second they considered just never admitting it. Just stomaching it and moving on.
Their gaze found a nearby bush and they watched the shadows appear and disappear as the leaves moved with the wind. Seir waited patiently, a soft smile adoring his lips. Taking a breath, Y/n tried again. "Did I do enough? When I was alive, I mean." Seir sat with that notion for a moment. He didn't quite understand, so he simply asked. "Did you do enough for what? I'm afraid I don't understand." Y/n stirred beside him, vocalizing with a hum as they tried to find the words to explain. "I guess… did I do enough to not be a waste?" As if sensing Seir's attention, they quickly waved their free hand to dismiss their statement, "It sounds so dramatic when I say it like that." This time an empty laugh filled the silence.
"But… Was I good enough? Did I do what I needed too? I never found my life's calling- what if I just never looked hard enough?" Y/n found that their vision started to blur. The many plants around them started to combine and shift, becoming nothing more than blobs of colour that wavered as they tried to blink away the tears. It was when they took a breath and it shuddered, just like it had when they were in their room earlier that the frustration came flooding back. They didn't want Seir to see this. Better yet; they didn’t want to feel this in the first place. Weak, confused, angry and yet guilty. They wanted to tell Seir to look away. That it wasn’t serious, that it was just something silly they were thinking about- but when they opened their mouth to speak, only a warbled sob made it out.
Tightening his grip- unbeknownst to Seir, of course- gentle as could be, he brought his free hand to cup their face. Much like he had done with their hand, he soothed them by rubbing the pad of his thumb over their cheek, wiping away the rouge tears that had spilt. Their eyes were downcast but Seir didn’t mind. They would find the courage they needed soon enough. He knew they would.
"You could never be a waste." His voice was filled with such kindness that Y/n found themselves staring up into the angels eyes. Of course, he was a literal angel so really they shouldn’t have been surprised at all. Seir smiled again, choosing to move to gently patting their head in rhythmic movements. "No matter what you did, or even what you do now, it's always the right thing to do." Y/n sniffled, once again averting their gaze to their lap. They wished they could believe his words, they really did, but the swirling vortex in their mind drowned them out in contempt for more… malicious views. "I could have done more, surely? I could have made a bigger impact, I could have helped more… I could have tried to make more people happy." "You did everything you needed to. After all your value as a person is not defined by the service you provide others." Y/n shook their head. "It is, isnt it? If I'm not doing anything, if I'm not putting anything good out into the world then what is the point? What was the point of me?"
Seir stood. The movement caught Y/n off guard. They owlishly blinked up at him as Seir came to stand before them. He leant down, braid dangling between them as he gently clasped their other hand in his. He whispered their name.
Looking up, Y/n thought heaven had come to them. Haloed by the moon it came to fruition just how ethereal Seir truly was. His hair seemed to glow, silken and beautiful. His face? Even more so. Entranced into silence, Y/n sat idle as Seir swept to his knee.
"Isn't that the beauty of humanity? You live… just to live. For no purpose other than to be yourself." He squeezed their hands, ever so slightly. His golden eyes shone with sincerity. "By being alive, by being you… you're creating a whole new perspective of the world that didn’t exist before… isn't that enough?"
The lilt of his voice only showcased how he meant every word. It was laced with so much tenderness, earnestness, that Y/n felt as though their whole world could crumble right at that moment and they wouldn’t have spared a thought. Seir always spoke from his heart, and that left Y/ns own beating with such intensity it felt as though it would beat right out of their chest. Their mind, in contrast, was silent. Banished were the disheveled threads that had plagued them- free from their incessant tangling, they had peace. For once they let themself believe.
Seir did not miss the light that flooded Y/n's eyes. A warmth that had been missing, or rather, dampened by the burdens they had carried in their heart. He had helped many people in his lifetime but this? This felt different. This brought something new to fruition in his chest. A fondness he could not describe.
"Seir… I- I don't have the words. You are too kind to me, thank you." Y/n couldn’t help the smile that sprung to their lips, not that they particularly minded. The angel in question smiled back and once again arose to his feet. Their hands were still clasped in his and after looking down at them for a moment Seir seemed to think of something.
"How about we do not dwell on this much longer, my dear? Perchance would you like to do something else to take your mind off of things?" Y/n let their head rock to the side, humming in thought. "Did you have anything in- in-" They yawned, "mind. It seems my restlessness has finally caught up with me." Seir's shoulders slumped and his lip stuck out in a pout. A laugh bubbled up in Y/n's throat at his antics. "How about we spend the day together? After we get some rest, of course." He perked up at this, quickly reverting to his smiling self. "You'll allow one more thing before we part, surely?"
Quirking a brow Y/n regarded him quizzically. They knew it would be nothing bad but they couldn’t quite pin what it could be. "There's no harm in it, so why not?"
Seir beamed and began to pull on their hands. Y/n let themselves be pulled to their feet in a swift motion. They anticipated that he would stop once they were up, however they found themselves pulled further. With a simple tug they were left stumbling forward directly into the angels chest.
He had smoothly let go of their hands and cautiously slipped an arm around their back to ensure they did not fall. Once they had adjusted on their feet he hastily moved his arm away- just a little.
"Sorry, may I pick you up?"
An odd request. Y/n's mind was reeling to try and figure out what he could possibly be planning. They were just a little too flustered and caught up in the very intricate details of his face for their head to be much use. They simply nodded, only able to utter out a quiet 'of course'.
Seir's arms quickly found home around Y/n's waist. His grip had strength behind it yet was so delicate it didn't seem possible.
"What exactly are you planning to do?" He smiled once again, so joyous. "You might want to hold on. Of course rest assured I won’t drop you-"
Y/n didn't quite have time to properly react, as in the next moment their feet left the ground. On instinct they wrapped their arms around Seir and clung to him as a lifeline. From their position they had to crane their neck to peek down at the floor that was now a good few feet away from them. Seeing them in distress, Seir gently lay his forehead on theirs, successfully redirecting their attention. "You are entirely safe, I promise. I promised I would show you my wings, but we will save that for another time."
Y/n could only stare back at him. They managed to soothe their racing heart and focused on the fact that despite them floating, it felt as though gravity did not quite have a hold on them. Either there was some magic at play, or it was a testament to his strength… "Now how about a spin?" Their gaze snapped to his face and their eyes became owlish. A few syllables managed to slip out but Seir did not wait.
Cautiously at first, although it did not feel like that all to Y/n, the two began to spin. Had this been recorded in a story, like how it had felt in the moment, it was sure to be reminiscent of a music box. Two figures, twirling with such gracefulness and ease. Their eyes locked on one another, the world around them becoming nothing more than a backdrop to their moment.
Of course until Seir began to spin faster. He clutched Y/n closer to his chest and began to laugh- a boisterous laugh that was contagious. Y/n clung to him, yelling his name between fits of laughter.
Finally they came to a stop and Seir brought them gently back onto the ground. Once their feet had made contact with the floor Y/n stumbled backward out of Seir's embrace, instead holding his forearms to try and steady themself. "You should have warned me!" Despite the complaint, their voice held no ill will. Seir dipped into a short bow, smile still adorning his features. "Of course, I will be sure to next time, my dear." "Next time? I guess you still do have to show me your real wings." Y/n let out a deep breath then straightened themself up. "Thank you, Seir. Tonight was wonderful." He beamed at the compliment. "It was my pleasure. Whenever you have need of me, no matter the hour, I will be right by your side."
The two retreated to the elevator and tried to stifle their laughter as they descended through the building. They spoke in hushed whispers as Seir escorted Y/n back to their room. With a promise of the rest of the day spent together they retired to their rooms, giddy and content.
As Y/n crawled back into bed they couldn’t even remember what had plagued them just hours ago. The blanket was comforting, the pillow just right under their head and with that, they fell into slumber.

Time and Time Again

Life is fickle. It's a subject of constant change; Nothing is truly forever. People are no exception to this. They come and go, either as a stranger on the street or as someone who was once a friend. But there are those rare few, who might not come around in the most expected ways, who will stick around through all life's challenges.
The first time Serrin met the white haired boy, it was a rainy afternoon. She was sat by one of the large windows of her Aunts magic shop, staring out at the world beyond the glass. Her feeble hands clutched a mug of hot chocolate, but it still remained largely forgotten. She was too caught up watching the strangers that passed by. The rain always brought out the most mysterious people. Some wore cloaks and sauntered down the streets, whilst others scurried by using whatever they had in a vain attempt to shield themselves. She wanted nothing more than to adventure out into the streets- she was sure the city would be different in the rain. Yet, she remained indoors, swaddled in blankets. Her Aunt was adamant she didn’t go out, in fear of her niece getting drenched and sick.
It was hours into the afternoon when it happened. A flash of white and a trail of red. Serrin had snapped her eyes open, balancing on her knees as she pressed her hands against the cool glass in attempt to see outside. For a moment, only the droplets on the window were there to greet her back before the white came back into view. It was a mop of curls, of which belonged to a young boy. A large scarf was draped around his shoulders, and it fluttered with the wind. The boy was peering back at her, head tilted to the side in amusement. No words were traded- only their gazes. The boy hesitantly reached out, placing his hand over hers, smudging the droplets that covered the glass between them. Neither could stop the smiles spreading across their faces. They felt it- each other's magic and aura.
"Serrin, could you come help me with this?" The girl spun around, watching her Aunt struggle with various ingredients at the counter. She grinned, called out that she was coming, then turned back to the window.
The boy was gone. She wondered if she imagined it. That he had just been a means to satisfy her boredome- until she lifted her hand from the glass. The droplets on the other side were still there, smudged in the way of the boys hand.
Maybe she'd see him again one day.
The third time they met was less of a chance meeting than the last. Serrin had woken up under her amass of blankets with tired eyes and messy hair. The morning sun was already peeking through her window, casting slivers of light through her cracked curtains. She'd stumbled out of bed, dancing around the room with the intent to avoid the cold wood flooring as much as possible. She changed, fixed herself a small breakfast and then wandered downstairs. She could hear talking, murmuring. She supposed it was later than when she usually got up, but it was unusual for there to be any proper customers until mid-day.
She wandered to the counter, glancing over the laid out herbs and items that her Aunt must have left out. Checking off the items in her head, she realised they were most likely for a medicinal potion of some sort. Hearing the murmuring again, she ducked toward the back of the shop- a little nook that was piled high with books and not a lot else. Not thinking much of it, she brushed aside the curtain, expecting to see her Aunt furiously looking for something.
Instead, she found said Aunt sat on the floor, the white haired boy she knew so little about sitting opposite her. Her words caught in her throat and it left her gaping like a fish. The boy didn’t look up, continuing to shuffle the stack of thick cards in his hand. "Ah, Serrin! I was wondering when you would be up. This here is Asra. I spotted him earlier this morning and noticed his magic. It's absolutely stunning- I don’t know how I've never noticed it before! Come, sit! He's doing a tarot reading for me." Without reason to deny, she took to the floor, sitting cross-legged as she watched. Although he appeared shy, she could tell by the way he handled the deck that he was no amateur. He paused ever so often, tilting his head or quirking a brow as if he were reacting to a conversation. Finally, he laid out the cards and begun the reading.Serrin didn’t particularly pay attention to what cards her Aunt pulled- they did their own tarot readings every now and then. She was more interested in Asra. She was sure it was the boy she'd met twice in past years. She'd never got his name, or who he was. But she knew his aura. She snuck as many glances as she could without being too obvious- at least, what she thought wasn’t too obvious. When her Aunt excused herself when the front door bell chimed, Serrin looked back to Asra, only to find him smiling at her, head on his palm and purple eyes staring into her own. She felt her cheeks flush and she quickly averted her gaze. Despite her embarrassment, her curiosity won her over."You're… you're him, aren't you? The boy that was outside the window in the rain?"Asra looked taken aback for a moment, before his grin returned. "Was it? Perhaps there's another mysterious boy with white hair running around Vesuvia." His voice was laced with sarcasm, but his face looked as innocent as ever. Serrin stuttered for a moment, before letting a sigh escape her lips. She looked away from him, twiddling her fingers."I thought I imagined you. I've never really seen anyone else around my age- or even any other magicians around." Quietly laughing, she let it die down into silence. Asra nodded his head, his own face shifting to a soft pink hue."I wasn’t sure about you either. I've always seen your Aunt and then one day you were there. I could always feel your magic. But here we are." Serrin smiled, pushing herself to her feet and offered the boy her hand."Well, I'm Serrin. Pleasure to meet you, Asra."He accepted her help and was hauled to his feet, their hands lingering together than perhaps longer than necessary."Likewise."
The 18th time they met was a day full of excitement.
Asra waited patiently outside the shop, fidgeting with the hem of his shirt as he waited. He ignored the looks Joanna gave him, instead pretending to be talking to his tarot cards. Any sound of a carriage and his head would snap up. And finally, after what had felt like all morning, the one he was hoping for arrived. Serrin was sitting beside her father, jostling along as a horse pulled along a wooden cart. She didn’t wait for it to stop before she hopped off, instead vaulting off the side and nearly stumbling when she landed. She sprinted up to him, grin stretched wide in greeting.
They unloaded the cart, and it was sent back along the cobblestone pathway. "How does it feel? You'll never be able to get rid of me now." Asra smirked as Serrin playfully smacked him on the shoulder. "Like I could get rid of you even if I wanted to. Now help me move my stuff please." She hauled up another box, balancing it carefully as the books stacked atop it nearly slid off.
Asra wandered over to the pile of boxes still outside the magic shop, eyeing them with a frown.
"How do you even have so much stuff? I know you're moving in but seriously." Asra watched her nearly topple over, smiling to himself as she fought to try and remain collected. She shot him an indignant look, poking her tongue out at him. "Because potion making requires a lot of ingredients and books, dummy." Asra hummed in response. He quietly slid up beside her then proceeded to knock her hip with his own. With a yell of protest, the books slipped from the top. Asra easily caught them, waving them in front of her as Serrin cursed him under her breath. "You should be more careful you know." He laughed as she shot him yet another dirty look. He wandered inside, placing the books down on the table as his gaze travelled over the shop.
This had been his home for quite a while. Serrins aunt had allowed him to stay, as long as he helped out. He lived upstairs- in the room Serrin would occupy whenever she came to visit. However, she was now moving in. He wondered if he'd still be allowed to stay. He was too afraid to ask. Serrin slipped past him, dropping the box down, not failing to exaggerate a groan. She spun around to face Asra, opening her mouth before pausing. He was staring at the floor, an almost sad look in his eyes. She crept closer, ducking down to try and catch his gaze. Once his eyes caught hers, he snapped back up.
"W-What?" He tried to play it off, casually leaning against the table. Serrin pursed her lips, leaning in closer to him. "It's rare to see you so flustered. What's up?" Asra covered his mouth, muttering something under his breath. Serrin sighed, sinking into one of the seats as she looked up at him. "I don’t know what you're worried about, but I'm sure it's nothing we can't handle. We've been friends for what? About 6 years now? I'm moving in Asra, not out.” “I know.” He offered a small smile and ruffled her hair, much to Serrins dismay.
The 56th time they met was not one of the more pleasant memories.
Asra had wound through the streets of Vesuvia with the moon far overhead. He didn’t waste time, taking the streets he knew were the fastest. His bag was heavy on his shoulders and his clothes were filthy with dirt and sand. He wanted nothing more than get home and collapse. Spend the next few days napping, and maybe even be lucky enough to receive some homecooked meals. He had stopped wondering when he started considering the magic shop home, it was useless trying to figure it out. All he knew was it was true.
He couldn’t stop the grin that made its way onto his face when it came into view. His pace quickened and his body flushed with warmth. He pushed on the door, revelling in the wards that washed over him as he stepped inside. He deeply inhaled, basking in the familiar scents and-
"ASRA!"
He snapped out of his daze to see Serrin standing a few feet away, dressed in her pyjamas and tears streaming down her face. He panicked- was she hurt? What had happened? Before he could ask, the girls sadness turned to rage. She shoved an accusatory finger toward him, a mean glare adorning her features.
"You had me sick and worried! You said it would take 3 days! Why were you gone 2 weeks!? I can't believe you-“ She had begun to pace, arms thrown out in exasperation. Asra tried to get a word in but she didn’t let him. “Aunt said I should go with you on these trips but somehow every time I let you convince me otherwise! We both know you have a penchant for trouble. You know I worry, couldn’t you have at least sent Faust back to tell me you were okay?” At this point her face was buried in her hands. “Scratch that. Mischeif is in your blood, of course you weren’t okay. One day you’re going to come back- Or worse, you’re never going to come bac-“ Asra felt a pang in his heart. He did know she worried… but he couldn’t help it. Sliding over he took hold of her hands, guiding them away from her own face. “It’s okay. There’s no need to worry, I’m back. Safe and sound. I’ll always come back.” He offered a smile to ease her when she finally acknowledged him. Her eyes darted up and down his figure. She heaved a sigh before shaking her hands free and pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Why the hell were you gone for 2 weeks?"
Asra chuckled, rummaging around in his bag before producing bundles of various herbs. He offered them out to her, watching as her eyes lit up and she stared at him incredulously. "That’s why. I heard these were about a day's trip away from where I was going… so I figured I'd drop by and get some for the shop. There were… some complications along the way-" That earned him a glare, "But I got them and now I'm back. I think its adorable you were so worried about me." He watched as she flushed pink, a set of butterflies burst into his own stomach, but he hid it behind a smirk. She lightly smacked him, huffing as she turned on her heel and stalked toward the cabinets.
“Always with a perfect gift… I’m still mad at you, by the way. I should lock you out next time.” Asra chuckled. “You say that you will, always empty threats. You’ll always be here waiting for me, won’t you?” He couldn’t keep the hopeful tone from his voice.
“I hate that you’re right. Now shoo, I’m going to bed.
The first time she met the white haired boy, she didn’t know who she was. She awoke, head pounding and gasping for breath. Her lungs burned, her ears were ringing, her limbs ached and there was a heavy, weighted feeling settling across her chest. She blinked rapidly, trying to clear her view so she could see something- figure out where- and what and who she was.
Something warm appeared beside her. Not physical warmth- something else. It enveloped her and drove away the dark and the pain. It left her feeling light. Free. She took her first breath and then she could see. The golden ceiling above her was adorned with lights and decorations- it was more beautiful than anything she'd ever seen.
Then she realised she hadn’t ever seen anything. She knew there was something wrong. She knew she was missing something- but what it was she couldn’t remember. There was nothing but nothing. Her breathing picked up again- who was she? Why was she here? What was she doing?
Then, as if on cue, the warmth flushed through her again. And this time, a face came with it. He appeared over her, face taught in shock and disbelief, tears streaming down his face. He looked dishevelled- but she almost didn’t mind.
He tried to speak, over and over, but the words caught in his throat. He curled over her, hands reaching for her but never touching her- as if he was afraid to.
After what felt like an eternity, he was calm enough to speak. He said something- something she didn’t understand. Her lack of response seemed to startle him. He cried it out again and again, but she didn’t know. She realised that even if she wanted to respond- she couldn’t. It was strange. She existed- she knew that- but how to live? She wasn’t sure. She could breathe, but that was all she knew how to do. She wanted to console him, for a reason she didn’t know. She tried to reach up. It felt as if every part of her body was locked to the ground. She tried again- she felt something move, a twitch in her finger. With everything she had, she raised her arm, hoping he would take it. He did so. Intertwining his fingers with her own. He looked down at her, face contorted in pain, as if he were the one like her. Despite it, she trusted him. She wondered if she was imagining things. If this was some dream- some variant of existence and that she had created him to ease herself.
She wondered what his name was. The boy with the white hair.

Tumblr media
Pairing: Asra Alnazar x OC Content: Angst, Comfort, Warnings: Mild Angst, Word Count: 1005~
Tumblr media
It wasn't meant to be the same. The same as the times she was left at the shop. For days on end, she’d work away, running the shop like usual, catering to customers who asked when the white haird mage would return... She’d smile and say soon. She’d smile and say she could handle the shop alone. Yet she never knew herself if he’d ever walk back through those doors again.
He always promised he would. That he’d be back before she knew it. Those promises he never kept- he was always gone for too long. But he also promised to take her with him one day. That promise he did keep, eventually.
She was ecstatic that day. She got to hear him say it. Watch as he held out her bag to her. Released a smile when he’d placed his big hat atop her head, then took her hand and lead her out the door. She couldn’t hide her excitement- and concerns- but Asra was right there with her. They would face it together.
So why had she wound up alone and left behind, just as she always had?
Arm cast over her eyes, she tried not to think about it. Or him. Her mind was able to wander for a moment. Thoughts of magic, of the shop, of Faust, of Asra. There she was; back to him, and her situation.
In the dead of night, with the cold nipping at any exposed skin, there was nothing to distract her. She was alone again, this time not even at home. Asra has insisted the first place they go was Nopal, his oasis retreat on the cusp of the desert. The clay hut had felt homey this morning... Now it was just that. A clay hut. Empty and cold.
Heaving a sigh, Serrin pushed herself lazily into a sitting position, the bed dipping under her weight. She dragged a hand down her face, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. Her throat felt dry, no doubt from the scorching summer heat throughout the day. The moon wasn't known to produce much light, but in the otherwise pitch black room, it’s small amount of light was welcome.
She racked her memory for if she’d seen any candles. Shifting to her feet, she flittered across the tiny room and felt around in the darkness for the feel of wax. The grain of wood under her fingers eventually lead to a smoother surface and she swiped the candle from its discarded place. Holding it under her palm, a whisper of a word escaped past her lips. A little flame sprung to life, dancing on the wick.
She watched it for a moment. It cast a dim light, it looked so innocent, so small.
Serrin turned on her heel, this time collecting a blanket off the bed and haphazardly draping it over her shoulders. She hurried to the door, candle still in hand.
Her toes curled against the frigid sand. The night was dead still. The myriad of plants around the hut were lifeless, colour drained by the inky night. There was no movement, no sound. For a moment, the strongest element for miles was her own breath. Then it began to mingle with another sound- the trickling water of the small fountain a few feet away. That was what she was searching for. She made her way toward it, gently kneeling down beside the large basin, knees sinking in the sand. She placed the candle on the rim. It continued to flicker.
She gazed down into the water, almost unable to see her own reflection. She didn’t know if she wanted to see it. Though, she guessed she’d rather see her own than Asra’s.
Her heart thudded in her chest. No. His heart thudded in her chest. Her throat constricted, her eyes began to water. Why had she been left behind again?
This was supposed to be their adventure. And not even 3 days in, and he’d vanished again. He told her, as he always did, that it was because it wasn’t safe for her. Her breathing began to hiccup, she drew shuddering breaths. She turned her bleary eyes to the sky.
Even that looked far away, distant. Did he trust her? At all? She knows for a time she couldn’t defend herself, but she could now. Asra had told her that her magic was growing. One day to sure surpass his own. So why...?
She balled her fists, roughly clutching the fabric of her pants. She tried to stifle the cries. She hated feeling this way. Cold, upset, betrayed, alone, and yet guilty. She gnawed her lip, nearly spitting as a sob escaped past her lips.
The candle seemed brighter now. It danced and flickered, the orange glow like a tide. It offered warmth. Comfort. It was enticing. Weakly getting to her feet, she swept the candle up and stumbled back to the house.
Just this morning, Asra has been there with her. Side by side they prepared food- Asra their breakfast, and Serrin their lunches. They chatted and joked, just as if they were back in the shop. And then by lunch, just as she was packing her bag for adventure, he was gone. Well, he’d come in, a sullen look on his face. All he’d said was, “I have to go. It’s urgent. I promise I’ll be right back.” He’d placed a kiss on her forehead, then turned to leave. Of course, he knew her too well. He glanced back over his shoulder. “It’s dangerous. I can’t risk you getting hurt. Stay safe.” And then- Then he was gone.
The flame flared brighter then. Serrin stared down at it. It was beautiful. It suffocated the dead in the house and bathed it in warmth- then her eyes fell to the walls. Shadows of nothing stretched and loomed around her, menacing and real... but it was only the candle.
Her eyes trailed to the kitchen bench. There were dirty pots, pans and plates, a bunch of red hibiscus, a collection of herbs-
Her gaze slammed back to the hibiscus. And then the flame went out.
She hadn't even noticed. She waltzed toward the bench, discarding the candle for the flowers. She almost dropped them when they came into contact with her skin- Asras magic radiated off them. A blooming warmth spread from her fingertips, settling over her heart.
Love, adoration, devotion and awe washed over her- followed by an almost overwhelming sense of guilt. She smiled. Tears continued to roll down her cheeks, and her eyes felt raw… but now she knew she wasn’t alone. She knew Asra hated being away from her as much as she hated him leaving. He waited for her, he stayed with her all this time. And she’d do the same for him.
She wandered back to bed, leaving the flowers in a bundle on the side table. She almost fell into bed, face first into the pile of blankets. Not that she needed them. Asra would return to her. And next time, she wouldn’t let him leave again.

Update ✨
Tumblr media
It’s apparently been 2 years since I posted here 😅
I’ve been in a writing rut for those past two years, however. I don’t think I finished a single piece of writing for myself. It’s been kind of brutal. Wanting to write and having so many ideas, but just not being able to get a damn thing written...
But alas, that’s where this blog comes in! It’s had a little makeover- a name change and a different theme~ Just thought it would help me start fresh again. A few more things still need to be edited, but that's for me to worry about.
Right now I have a few fics planned out, some bigger ones include a massive TypicalFantasy!Genshin AU series, and my current fixation: A Blooming Panic Mermaid!Toast fic! Yes, I like fantasy. If there's one thing you need to know about me, it's that 😂
Those won’t be out for proooobably a good long while, though. In the meantime, I want to get some more ficlets out about whoever- AND maybe some stuff about my genshin OCs! We’ll see-
Anyway going up next is some older pieces that I wrote, and then after that I can hopefully actually get some stuff out in a timely manner! I hope to be around some more, so please feel free to drop any messages in the askbox!
Take care,
- Gracidea (Yes the name Gracidea has nothing to do with Forget me nots but its a fake flower and I got nothing else)

Contact Name
Tumblr media
Pairing: Leviathan x Fem! Reader Content: Fluff Warnings: None Word Count: 1500~ Lowkey inspired by the fact I use code names for all the characters I write for and this is his, and accurate to how it came about-
Tumblr media
Not taking her eyes off the screen, (Y/n) blindly stuck one of her hands out in the vague direction of the snack bowl. The beanbag sunk under her and she nearly toppled forward, but managed to keep herself balanced. She felt around, tipping the bowl sideways and scouring every inch of it, only to come to the conclusion that, as she feared, there were no snacks left.
“Leviiiiiiiii, did you eat the last of the snacks again?”
“I need to keep my strength up! We gotta finish-“ he was cut off as a pillow smacked him in the face. He sputtered, finally turning to glare at his companion. She smiled innocently, batting her eyelashes at him. “Since you ate the last of the snacks, you should be the one to go get refills.”
Levi chucked them pillow back at her, but she easily caught it. He rolled his eyes, going back to his button mashing. He let out a grunt of frustration as his character let out a cry, dropping to the ground in good rag doll fashion.
“(Y/n)!” He whined. The girl waved her controller around idly.
“What?”
Levi narrowed his gaze at her.
“You did that on purpose. This game relies on having two players to cover each other!”
(Y/n) hummed, dropped her controller asn she staggered to her feet. “Yeah yeah. I gotta get more snacks though first. Don’t die again.” She headed for the door, snickering as Levi let out an indignant scoff. She vanished, and Levi was left alone in his room.
He sat still for a moment, just staring at the ‘level failed’ text that taunted him. It felt awkwardly quiet without (Y/n) in his room. Not that he’d ever admit it. Cause it wasn’t true.
He sighed, hitting the re-spawn button and watching as the level loaded again. He made his character run around (Y/n)s in circles, fingers itching to get back to the fight. He glanced toward her beanbag. Her controller was just sitting there. He wondered if he could play two at once.
His gaze shot to a sudden light beside the controller. He realised that it was (Y/n)s DDD. He couldn’t read the notification from his spot, but he could tell it was from Mononoke Land.
He hadn’t believed his luck when he found out the exchange student had been interested in video games and anime. The first person in this forsaken house that may understand his hobbies. Though of course he didn’t have high hopes, and it caused him some strife. They were still human after all… but he guessed so was Henry, and he was still friends with the Lord of Shadows. But so far everything had turned out fine. Maybe a little better than fine…
The DDDs screen fell to black, yet Levi found himself unable to tear his eyes away from it. He swallowed, the saliva feeling thick in his throat. He just wanted to know…
He hesitantly reached over, scooping up the device. It was warm in his hands, and he realised she’d probably have been sitting on it. That thought brought a blush to fruition on his face. He quickly banished the thought. Was this bad? It was her personal property… but also it was just her lock screen, which was the one thing strangers were technically allowed to see. He clicked the on button, the light illuminating his face. He was correct, she’d gotten a notification from Mononoke land. He swiped it away, eager to see her lock screen in full. He wasn’t sure what he was expecting, but a strange sense of pride flooded him when he realised it was a scene from one of the anime he’d showed her.
It was one of his favourites, and he’d quickly sat (Y/n) down to watch it. They’d binged it in a day, and (Y/n) had very quickly grown attached to it and fallen in love. They’d gushed about the art and animation style for hours.
He caught himself smiling and quickly cleared his throat, turning off the device and leaving it facedown on his leg.
That’s it. He’d looked now. Curiosity satisfied…
And then another thought popped up into his head.
What was his contact name?
He’d input her name as “His One True Friend”, and knew he would rather die than let her see that. But he had the chance to see what his was in her phone. Hypocrisy be dammed.
He whipped out his own DDD, quickly typing a simple “hey” in a text and sent it.
Even as her DDD was facedown against his leg, he could see some of the light seep out as the screen lit up with the notification.
He paused, glancing toward the door. He strained to listen for any indication she, or anyone else was nearby, but heard nothing.
He chewed his lip. This was dumb.
He flipped the phone over anyway and his eyes shot to the name of the notification.
Reaper 💕
What the hell did that even mean?
He read over it again, checking if he’d hallucinated it. But it remained the same.
The word Reaper…. With hearts!?
Becoming beet red, he hastily chucked the DDD back onto the beanbag, smothering his face in his hands.
And of course that’s when she came back. He heard the crinkle of various packets first, then her quick footsteps. He slammed his hands down, staring straight at the screen, pretending to act as normal as possible.
How the hell does someone act normal?
He snatched his controller up, going back to moving his character around in circles.
His door swung open and (Y/n) stumbled in, kicking it closed with her heel.
“I HAVE RETURNED!”
She hurried over, dumping then collection of food onto the floor. She didn’t even notice Levi’s shaking hands.
“You better be grateful. I had to fight Beel off for this stuff.”
She plopped back down into her beanbag, collecting her controller and off handedly glanced at her phone. Seeing a notification, she quickly checked it.
She quirked a brow, turning to look at Leviathan.
“Why’d you text me?”
She squinted at him when he didn’t respond, thumb still moving in circles and eyes locked on the screen as if in a trance.
“Leviii, is there a certain snack you wanted? You could have just yelled-“
He suddenly snapped to face her, eyes wide and cheeks pink as he dropped his controller into his lap.
“What’s with-with my contact name?!”
She stared at him, mouth hanging open as she processed his words.
She glanced at her phone, and then to him.
“Oh- I- uh-“
Now it was her cheeks flushed pink.
“Well, yknow. I wanted to give you a nickname…”
She trailed off, hoping maybe he’d drop it.
“Why Reaper? And why where they hea-“
“Ah! The reaper thing!” She cut him off, nervously laughing as she rubbed the back of neck and sunk ever deeper into the beanbag.
“When I first heard your name… Leviathan- all I could think of were the Reaper Leviathans from a human world game. They’re really cool, and big serpent sea beasts… so I thought it would fit…”
Levi swore his heart beat right out of his chest. For one, she had wanted to give him a nickname, and two, she thought whatever the thing was were cool- did that mean she thought he was cool?
“Wait- do you know the game? I’m sure you’d love it, it’d be right up your ally.”
Levi shook his head. He did not trust himself to speak right now.
She hastily scrambled up, kneeling beside his gaming chair as she awkwardly leaned over to type on his keyboard.
She tabbed out of the game, instead pulling up his browser and searching ‘Subnautica’.
Leviathan was greeted with images of the ocean- or at least, underwater. There seemed to be various alien like environments, all underwater and ranging in colours and flora.
She added ‘reaper leviathan’ to her search and up came what apparently she had thought of upon hearing his name.
It was a huge sea serpent, with 4 massive mandibles that looked particularly menacing.
“That’s what you put as my contact name?”
“Well if you don’t like it, I can change it-“
Levi quickly smacked her hands away from the keyboard.
“No! I mean, no. It’s fine. It’s pretty good for a normie idea…” He trailed off, using the back of his hand to hide his face.
“You know, if you can download Steam from somewhere, we can play it.”
They spent the next few hours lost in the sea, yelling and cursing as even a small peepers jump scared them. Leviathan was adamant on the fact that this game was stupid-  because in real life, all of these beasts would listen to him!
And why wouldn’t that damn warper leave him alone! No, I’m not going to grapple it and drill it’s face in, who the hell does that!?
(Y/n) was going to make sure to take her DDD with her next time, and was definitely going to make sure she saved that heart emoji for somewhere else.

Distractions
Tumblr media
Pairing: Leviathan x Fem!Reader Content: Fluff, Comfort Warnings: None Word Count: 1000~
Tumblr media
Hearing a knock at his door, the otaku third born slowly turned his head toward the sound, only to keep his eyes on the screen as he continued to button mash. The knock sounded again- it was quiet, quieter than any knock his brothers had ever done before. Eyes still trained on the glowing screen, he called out.
“Password!”
He grinned as silence followed, no doubt it was Mammon or even Asmo trying to be a bother.
So when a quiet, wavering, broken voice spoke back, he nearly fell out of his chair.
“Le-Levi? Can… can I come in please?”
(Y/n). He knew it was. But that was besides the point. Why did they sound so sad, as if they’d been crying?
In his attempt to sleuth the answer, he happened to forget to answer.
Hearing the dead silence from the other side, (Y/n) curled in on them self, eyes downcast as they sniffled again. They knew they could order him to open the door, but there was no point in that. They’d be better off going back to their room. Anxiously rubbing their arms, they spoke again, voice cracking more times than they would have liked.
“It’s fi-fine. Sorry to-to bother you.”
They vainly wiped the tears from their stained cheeks, dropping their head as they prepared to wander back to their room.
But if anyone had been inside Leviathans room, they would have assured you that was the fastest they’d ever seen him move.
He sped to the door, vaulting over whatever littered the floor in his way.
He unlocked the door, hauling it open with such force it hit the wall and shuddered.
(Y/n) stared up at him with wide, teary eyes.
“I-uh-you-do you-I mean-“ Levi scolded himself mentally for not being able to speak. But not much else would process besides the human in front of him.
They looked cold. Standing there in their pyjamas, curled into them self as if trying to look smaller than they were, eyes red with a few stray tears sliding down their cheek.
“You can come in.” He finally managed to sputter. He stood awkwardly to the side, rubbing the nape of his neck, other hand still on the door. He watched as their shoulders dropped, as if they’d finally let go of a breath. They shuffled in, yet stopped beside him. They didn’t dare look up at him. Their shoulder was close enough to brush his chest if they leaned just a little. But they took the opportunity to just calm down, absorb the comfort that just came from his presence.
Then, without a word, they shuffled away. The two continued in silence, Levi closing the door and sitting back at his desk, whilst (Y/n) perched on the rim of his tub. Neither met each other’s gaze.
Leviathan knew he wanted to do nothing more than scoop them up and hold her close until they were better… but they were a normie, right? He couldn’t possibly taint himself like that…
His gaze was drawn back to them. They’d moved onto the floor beside the tub now, knees tucked up to their chest and head buried behind them, they were nothing but a ball.
Was he meant to say something? Was he meant to wait for them to say something? Was he meant to wordlessly go and comfort them?
This was so much harder than his otome games- he had pre-determined options and guaranteed reactions...
“You can go back to playing. I don’t mind…” he snapped his attention back to them. They raised their head, their gaze soft as flower petals. His mouth opened and closed a few time, unable to coherently form any words. “Are-are you okay?”
They were obviously not okay.
Hesitantly, they nodded. “I don’t want to talk about it… I just…” they trailed off, letting their head fall back to rest against the cold tub.
“Sit over here and watch me play this instead then.”
The words had come out of his mouth before he could stop them, so in a vain attempt to save himself, he tacked on a “you’re a normie so someone has to teach you about this stuff.”
He felt his cheeks flush when (Y/n) brought their head up, smiling at him softly. They got to their feet, quietly making their way over to him as Levi turned back to his desk and picked up the controller again. They hovered by his side for a moment, then awkwardly kneeled down beside his chair.
Levi was thoroughly distracted. He blamed it on the fact (Y/n) kept shuffling and moving around to try and get comfortable.
Heaving a sigh, he turned the chair toward them and took hold of their wrist. “Levi? Wha-“
He ignored the burning feeling on his face.
“You obviously don’t know how to sit properly.” He scooted as far back as he could, tugging on their wrist to guide them closer, then sat them down on the chair with him.
(Y/n) sat stiff as bricks, leaning to one side to make sure Levi could still see his screen. Levi slouched back into his chair, controller nearly under his chin.
He was very much too late to realise this was infinitely more distracting.
Time ticked on further into the night. (Y/n) felt their eyelids droop, muscles becoming heavier. They considered getting up and going back to their room, but they didn’t particularly want to… Levi’s silent company was pleasant.
Giving in to their body, they hesitantly lent backward, expecting a reaction from Levi, most likely a shout or push in protest- but when they came flush with his chest and let their head rest under his chin, he didn’t even flinch.
On the inside Leviathan was way beyond freaking out.
Even slower than (Y/n) had moved, Levi carefully lent forward, snaking his arms around them as to hold the controller in front of them both, even propping his own chin atop their head.
Both cherished the warmth and security, and (Y/n) took note of how nice Levi smelt.
Finally closing her eyes and settling down, they let the mindless, uncensored words slip past their lips.
“Night Levi, love you.”
“Love you too.”

A Hit and Run
Tumblr media
Pairing: Ryuji Sakamoto x Fem!Reader Content: Fluff, Mild Angst, Hurt with Comfort Warnings: Mild Injury Word Count: 1200~
Tumblr media
(Y/n) didn’t move from her desk. The bell had rung, sending students into a flurry to leave. Despite her body’s plea to get up and go, her conscious was so far from that idea she simply sat there, staring down at her desk.
In a dazed manner, she began packing her books away, one at a time and slower than a snails pace. The room had fallen silent- even the teacher had long disappeared- leaving her even more lost in her own world, the muffled noise from outside sounding distant.
Finally pushing herself to her feet, her body felted weighted. She couldn’t help it. Every passing day seemed to hold another pressure. Another cloud to add to her growing storm. She subconsciously pulled out her to phone to check her messages, seeing but not reading them. Heaving a sigh she began toward the door, wanting nothing more than to just sleep. She reached for the door handle, her reaction times far to slow for her to do anything when it suddenly slid open before her.
“(Y/n)-“ the delinquent calling her name cut himself off as the two bumped into each other. Taking a step backward, she caught a glimpse of blonde hair.
“There you are, what’s taking ya so long?” He rubbed the back of his neck, other arm propped up against the door. Feigning perfection, (Y/n) grinned, waving her hand dismissively. “Nothing much, Ryuji, just was finishing taking up some notes.”
Even being known as the dumb-ass of the group, he could tell something was off.
He raised a brow, not quite buying her attitude, but not sure on how to prompt her to drop it. “C’mon, our lunches won’t eat themselves.” She gently pushed past him, heading for the steps to the roof.
The two sat in silence. Which they both knew was unusual. Even if the others weren’t there, the two were perfectly capable of holding a conversation on their own.
“So…” Ryuji trailed off, mind going blank on any topic for a conversation. (Y/n) glanced at him, the first time she’d broken her gaze from staring at her shoes since they’d sat down. He could see the strain in her eyes.
He lowered his voice, leaning ever so slightly closer to her. “Are… are you… okay?”
He hated how stupid he sounded. Why couldn’t he just say what he wanted? Why did it have to be so hard?
He caught himself getting distracted and immediately turned his attention back to her. All she responded with was a dejected sigh.
“I… I don’t know. Just a lot of stress…” she trailed off, crossing her arms as if to shut herself off. Ryuji sat back. He was never the best with this stuff…
“God I wanna punch something.”
Wide eyed, Ryuji turned to stare at her incredulously. Her gaze flicked to him, confused for a only a moment- before she realised she’d admitted that out loud.
“U-Uh- I mean- I just- I want to get my frustrations out, y’know? And I-I used to take lessons- so uh-“ her face was flushed red and she’d sunk into the chair.
Ryuji only grinned- this was something he could help with.
“Punch me.”
The girls rambling stopped. Her mouth hung open at his declaration.
“Wha- what do you mean ‘Punch you’?” She looked near mortified at the prospect.
Ryuji stood up, balling his fist and slamming it into his open palm. “You said you wanna hit somethin, yeah?” He widened his stance and put his arms up, palms facing her. “So punch me. I can take it.” He took a few steps backward away from the cluttered group of tables. He rolled his eyes as she continued to sit there dumbfounded. He jerked his head to invite her over. “You don’t have to hit hard if you don’t wanna.”
He felt a wave of accomplishment as (Y/n) hesitantly got to her feet, making her way over. She cautiously took a rough looking fighting stance, raising her hands up in front of her face, loosely balling her fists. Shaking herself of doubt, she threw a punch, albeit it lacked any real power. Her right hand connected with his left, and Ryuji let out a chuckle. “Yeah that’s it! Throw some more!”
Egging her own seemed to work, she slowly began throwing punches more confidently, and Ryuji was left surprised by the speed and power she managed to put behind some of them. She’d long since stopped looking sheepish and checking his face every time she hit. Her own features were set in a determined glare, silent frustration fuelling her hits.
And then he made a side remark about how badass she looked.
- - -
Ryuji, for the umpteenth time, assured (Y/n) that he was okay. Sitting on one of the tables with pack of ice to his cheek, he watched as she refused to look at him. “This is exactly why I didn’t want to do this… now you’re injured… and now only more rumours of your delinquency are going to spread.” She let her eyes fall back to him, but seeing the skin begin to bruise only caused another bout of guilt.
“I told you, it doesn’t matter! I’ve been through way worse. And it was a dumb accident, okay? No need to get so worked up about it.” He really didn’t care that he’d been punched, if anything it gave him more reason to respect and admire (Y/n), but he hated seeing her feel so guilty about it.
“Come here.”
His demand made (Y/n) freeze up- he sounded almost mad. She shuffled over to him, hesitant about what he was going to do. Keeping a straight face, and not breaking eye contact, he ever so gently punched her in the arm. She looked to the spot, then back to him, brows knit in confusion. Ryuji just grinned. “Now we’re even.”
(Y/n) scoffed, finally letting her arms drop to her sides. “You dork.” The insult was paired with a smile, and Ryuji was glad she’d finally given in.
“Can… can I see? Please?” Her voice was soft, no higher than a whisper as she lent closer to him, trying to peak under the the ice pack. Begrudgingly, the blonde peeled his face away from the the icy relief. He watched as (Y/n) sucked a breath in through her teeth, gingerly reaching up to touch it. Her fingertips ghosted his skin, which has begun to become painted by yellow and purple. He didn’t flinch at her touch, simply keeping his brown eyes locked on her face. She was frowning, eyes lit by worry.
“…Sorry.”
He huffed, now rolling his eyes.
“How many times do I have to say it-“
The rest of his words caught in his throat. Against his bruise came the sensation of warmth, just light enough, and long enough, for him to register the sensation, before it was gone.
(Y/n) stood back up, using the back of her hand to cover her lips, the immense bloodrush reaching even her ears.
“T-To make it feel better…” She managed to stammer.
And much to her relief, the bell rung, signalling the end of lunch. She bowed her head, sweeping up her stuff before making a dash for the door with only a “See you later.” Over her shoulder.
“Ye-yeah… later.”
Ryuji was left alone on the rooftop, with only a bruised cheek as proof of the events that had taken place.

What’s This?
Tumblr media
This blog is here to share the nonsensical fanfics I write. They’ll be whenever, with whoever, doing whatever. I’ll jump from fandom to fandom, from character to character.
The only thing for sure: There will be NO NSFW content. You can request things; drabbles, headcanons, just be polite about it. That, and understand that I’m not obligated to answer it. I’ll write with what inspires me! I  MASTER LIST  I
Tumblr media
So, scroll a while and see what you find, I’m hoping there will be something you like!
As long as I can bring a smile to your face, let you forget your troubles for a moment, or make your day just that little bit brighter, then I’ve done all that I set out to do.
I may also share my OCs and the few bits of art I do, but we’ll see~
