You know those Monday mornings when you should be springing out of bed, putting on your productivity hat and getting. shit. done….? Well then you also know, sometimes when it rains all night, and your dog gets cold, and comes and curls up next to you on the bed, the productivity hat you’re after has fallen off the nightstand and is out of reach. 🎩 So, I’m just gonna post this instead. It is cold. It is rainy. Take the extra five minutes to sleep in. Snuggle your dog! Have a cup of tea! And for goodness sake, light that triple wick candle you’ve been hanging on to. It deserves to live its best life, too. On Tuesday, it can be one way, and by Wednesday, your outlook might have completely changed. As you know, Tuesdays and I have never gotten along, but I had a nice visit with someone I actually ✨wanted✨ to see yesterday, and that simple thing seems to have changed things. An arrangement I thought was on the rocks will work out. A thing I thought ended really badly in fact, didn’t. A vacation I was stressed about taking for lack of a dog sitter, has worked itself out and Max is going to win over new hearts for a few days in July. 💕 Today, Max still needs to lay low for a bit with his sore paw, so we kindof will. He’s guilty of being such a typical dog and following me around everywhere, but today he can learn how to stay in one spot while we take a break from everything else to paint the kitchen trim. May you also have a half decent Wednesday, and if you started this week in a tough spot, I hope your new outlook is making its way to you. Thank you for being here with me. Hi. 👋🏻 If you’re new here, I’m Sandra, and that’s Max. 👆🏻 I make a lot of concrete stuff, and a really tiny little bit of clay stuff in my basement workshop. Max spends a lot of time in the basement with me. 💕 Five years ago, when my day job wasn’t exactly paying me, I needed an alternate income, so I started making candles. As things evolved, glass candles kinda got the boot, and concrete entered the chat. 💬 Now, I primarily make concrete candles and planters, but since September of last year, I’ve been playing with clay a bit.
