Skyrim SSE mod list for new playthrough.

This is the modlist and loadorder for my new Skyrim SE playthrough.  Some of the ESP are not active because they are included in a merged plugin to save space but left on this list to show they have been included. There are also a few mods showing up in the load order that aren’t in the plugin list because while I wanted to include them, the build wasn’t stable enough while including them. (That doesn’t mean these mods are bad or that you shouldn’t try them, just that my load order has far to much going on in it to support that many resource heavy mods.)

Diary of a Fox - Mostly Coherent Ramblings

Variety streaming is a tough nut to crack and, if I could go back and do things differently, I would.  

Don’t get me wrong, I love (and hate) not having a plan for the day.  Love it, because I can play whatever it is that I want on any given day. Hate it because people come and go with the games.  With no ‘main’ game to build roots from, it’s difficult to build a solid foundation of viewers.  

So what do you do? 

Networking comes to mind - find individuals, like yourself, that enjoy various games or even join a stream team of like minded individuals.  

Sometimes this comes with growing pains - old friends decide that because you’re networking with people outside whatever friend bubble you started in that you’ve changed, even though what you’re doing is a perfectly logical step in reaching a larger audience.  Maybe they stab you in the back, talking smack and putting a negative spin on what you’re doing because they see it as doing something wrong.  

No one needs that drama and I straight refuse to tolerate it.  If you bring that sort of drama to me, I will enact the ‘Scorched Earth Policy,’ as one of my housemates so eloquently dubbed it.  Simply put, I will no longer have anything to do with you, regardless of what our past relationship might have been.  

I try to ignore numbers, and, for the most part, I mange this successfully.  The only statistics visible on my Twitch dashboard are uptime and bitrate.  None of the rest matter. However, on days when I’m not having as much fun, that wiggle of doubt creeps in and after stream I do look at what the average viewer count was.  In contrast to this, when I’m really enjoying myself it might be weeks before I look at what my averages have been.  

It’s during those not so fun days, when the wiggle of doubt is there knocking, that I feel the most demoralized.  It is then when I wonder if I’m just spinning my wheels.

We’ve all been there.  If you claim otherwise, it just means you haven’t been there yet.  Don’t worry - it will be your turn soon.   The unfortunate thing is that, when in this state of mind, it’s easy to talk yourself into a self-defeating circle.  Questioning yourself about every little detail, wondering if what you’ve been doing has been worth it, and considering alternatives.  

Anytime I get to this point, I always ask myself - Why do I stream?

To some it might seem an obvious answer, while others aren’t quite sure.  

For me, the answer is always the same - I want to give one person a smile each day.  I want to have a space on the internet where everyone is welcome, where they can forget about their troubles, if even for only a moment.  And I want them to know that no matter how bad things might get, or how difficult things might be for them right now, there is someone who is going to greet them and be happy they are there because the most important thing on Twitch isn’t your follow count, it’s not your sub count and it’s not your death count.  It’s those people right there in your chat that show up when you go live and spend their time with you.
