some jason haters are that brazen unfortunately, but it's worse when they like to attack others in reblogs (thinking of one that's also big on the titans) or send askbox hate. so much grief could be spared by them properly tagging their hate posts and keeping it out of the main tag, or them blocking and filtering people. but it's more like some of them want to fight or bait and it's a shame.

Thankfully I've never come across those types of jason haters. It's honestly so easy to just block people and use appropriate tags, like it makes your fandom experience so much better but yeah like you said some of them might just want to fight.

Trying to kill tim did not happen. I thought it was clear enough, but I guess some people just don't care that it was a fight between two vigilantes of similar ages and not a grown man beating a two year old with a hammer. BFTC is its own thing and I don't even consider it in arguments because when other characters are ooc it's fine because the writer hates them ☹️, but with jason it's suddenly extremely true to his character. Jason does not blame dick for anything, has no problem with him despite the contempt dick has shown towards him on occasion. People like to explore their connection when in canon it won't happen unless jason is a certain way(non-lethal and molded in a way that fits interactions with the rest of the bats) and that's fine, it's fandom. He has paid for the things he's done, heavily in fact, and it's been a while since he's killed last so I don't know what people expect him to do. Go to silly crime jail in your head? So he can pay for his crimes? Get beaten up within an inch of his life? Happened before and will probably happen again. Brainwashed? Wow also happened. Guess it's off to silly crime jail for him.

Forever thinking of how lonely jason was (and still is). He was supposed to be surrounded by people, friends and teams and both. He didn't have anyone, never had a team to call his own, barely had any friends, and was just there for such a short time that he didn't even get the opportunity to have anything meaningful. Then he dies and is remembered as a failure and all the things he isn't, comes back and finds everything changed but remains the same, no one was there to remember him in any way that mattered.

Hey just a reminder that jason had every right to feel angry and his anger at being replaced is again one hundred percent justified. He wasn't forgotten but he was remembered as something not as someone. He was reduced into a concept used as a cautionary tale, trash talked by people who didn't even know him, and brought back to a world that moved on without him. Just because he wasn't brain washed into being "bad" doesn't mean he isn't justified in his anger.

Yes of course jason should be that characters "joker" yes absolutely what a wonderful idea truly. Especially since he's obsessed with them and very much gives weight to their moral differences how could we forget about that?? Let's make him into an antagonist for a character he at most acknowledges the strength of and at worst doesn't give a shit about. But you didn't hear that from me ;)

My favorite thing about the silmarillion is that I've been a fan for so long I don't even treat it like a fandom anymore. Discourse does not exist in it for me. My favorite characters? Yeah they did that. They committed many crimes indeed. Ships? Call me one of the teleri after the kinslaying the way I don't have any. The only thing I will even remotely discuss seriously is why it's amazing that Melkor is scared shitless of Varda. Like that's something that's just so important to me for some reason.
