some jason haters are that brazen unfortunately, but it's worse when they like to attack others in reblogs (thinking of one that's also big on the titans) or send askbox hate. so much grief could be spared by them properly tagging their hate posts and keeping it out of the main tag, or them blocking and filtering people. but it's more like some of them want to fight or bait and it's a shame.

Thankfully I've never come across those types of jason haters. It's honestly so easy to just block people and use appropriate tags, like it makes your fandom experience so much better but yeah like you said some of them might just want to fight.

Of course, how much sense she has at the moment is debatable at best because he went and fucked her brains right out of her skull.

Forget pipe- The man laid infrastructure earlier and it’s already screwing with her head. Making her really have to try and talk herself out of the urge to see where things go. The only thing she needs to see is where the fuck her drawers went. Getting dickmatized is a real struggle and while she doesn’t often go out, she lets the soldier sweet talk her on the expectation that there would be a fair degree of “get in, get done, get out”.

Post nut clarity is nowhere to be seen on his end, as he’d tucked her into the spot next to him with the promise of breakfast in the morning. A well deserved reward on her end for all her hard work.

Maybe her brain just likes to torture her but she starts to think that she’s just not meant for casual hook ups like this. He is kind and respectful and a phenomenal lay and her brain is already trying to twist this to justify finding a way to wrangle down another night with him. She just needs to rip this bandaid off and go.

Chalk this up as go-to spank bank fodder the next time she’s lonely.

It’s easier this way, she tells herself as she peels back the bedding he’d cocooned her in.

Less humiliating this way, to sneak away in the night as the cold bites at her as she gathers her clothes. All the while he’s snoring up a storm, assuring her that he’s still out of it and unaware of her escape attempt that is delayed by not being able to find her damn bra.

There’s a small part of her that somewhat feels bad for planning to sneak out in the middle of the night, but there’s a larger part of her that doesn’t want to hear whatever is his go to prompt when it’s time to kick his partner out of bed and back to the rest of the world.

She fixates on locating her wayward bra to the point she doesn’t notice the lack of white noise as he -John- stirs at the loss of her. She doesn’t see the way he gropes blindly at the space she was occupying not five minutes ago, nor the way his expression screws down into a scowl as realization sinks in when he fully awakens.

She does hear his huffed “The fuck are you doing?”, lacking any bite to it despite the phrasing. What she’s doing is fairly obvious given how her clothes are gathered in her arms as opposed to rifling through something she shouldn’t.

“I, um,” she blinks stupidly. He’s a gorgeous man, just enough moonlight filtering through the window so she can see him even in the dark. “I’m getting dressed,” finally her brain clicks into place.

His eyes are squinting at her as he blinks back sleep, shuffling partly up to get a better look at her, the blanket pooling at his waist. Christ her knees are already weak just looking at him again. “None of that,” he dismisses firmly, “it’s too cold, love. Come back to bed. Promised you breakfast in the morning anyway.”

She has a decision to make, she realizes- if she’s adamant about leaving it’s not like he’s going to keep her hostage. He has to let her leave.

But, her thoughts trail off, it is fucking cold. And that bed is incredibly warm. And she still doesn’t know where the fuck her bra is.

“Come on then, back you get.” He prompts with a pat to the spot she’d previously occupied, and that’s enough to make her fold (she can’t deny that she’s been lookin for a reason to fold all night, even if a part of her knows this is a bad, bad, bad idea). Setting her clothes back in a neat pile rather than them being strung all over the floor-still sans bra-, she returns to the bed and slides back under the covers he’s lifted for her.

Immediately his arm bands across her torso, pulling her in snug against him. Well, there’s certainly no sneaking away now. After a bit of shuffling as they settle in against each other, John ensuring there will be no more half hearted attempts to flee.

He doesn’t snore-likely keeping an eye on her to ensure she’s not going to run again- until she’s securely in that half-awake-half-asleep limbo. It’s incredibly easy to slip into. The room is cold, he is warm and the bed is so incredibly cozy. The math is very simple and the end result is her dozing in the arms of a man she can very stupidly see herself getting attached to- even if he snores like a bear.

Come morning, John makes good on his promise for breakfast.

She doesn’t end up needing to find her bra until two days later.

Hi guys!! Kind of a long post here, but it’s actually pretty important, so give it a read if you’re a writer and you’ve got the time!

Please be careful when tagging your fics/posts. I know many people are new to Tumblr/fandom around here, but Tumblr’s tagging system is not the same as Instagram or AO3. You can’t filter posts to show only certain things while simultaneously avoiding other tags. So using the tags that are only relevant keeps things all tidy on this website, and makes it easier to navigate.

Also, cross-tagging clutters the tags. Sometimes I’m only feeling like reading a Zayne fic, but his tag is full of Sylus fics because people incorrectly tag their works. I know we all want more people to read our works, so cross-tagging is a sure-fire way to get more people to see it, but trust me it’s only harmful to the community/fandom because it causes readers to be unable to find the stuff they’re actually looking for amidst all the clutter☹️

Another thing: please, for the love of everything good, tag your smut fics as smut fics only and not fluff. I myself am on the ace spectrum, and my relationship with sex (even when written!) fluctuates daily. Sometimes I’m completely sex-averse and reading anything remotely sexual icks me out, and sometimes I’m perfectly okay with writing and consuming sexual content. That means that I can’t just block out the smut tag since I do occasionally seek it out, so instead I’d normally avoid searching it up until I want to read it. But now, I end up searching the fluff tags and find straight up porn lying there, which I’m definitely not in the mood for. It’s jarring, to say the least.

And for the people who do want to read smut specifically, tagging your fics as smut only makes it much easier for them to find your work!! This way, you’ll curate your audience and make their reading experience go more smoothly. You avoid attracting people who don’t want to read smut, and you bring in the people who want more of it!! It’s a win-win situation🙏🏽

One last thing: please clarify if the seemingly-innocent thing you’re writing about is a kink. Whether it’s in the warnings prefacing your fic, or in the tags, I’d much rather not be jumpscared mid-reading by things turning sexual when they weren’t remotely so at the start. I’ll be reading a cute little fic about tickling or something, then I’ll find out that this writer has a tickling kink😭 Enjoy whatever you like bestie, just make sure to correctly tag that/add warnings so that others don’t unknowingly consume content that they’re actually not into.

when he teeters forward, unbalanced and inelegant from the blood loss, wolfwood isn’t there to catch him. the shouts are getting louder. death is coming.

“time’s up,” burrs a deep voice in his ear, “let’s get the fuck outta here, human typhoon.”

and he has to. doesn’t he? because wolfwood was the only one who understood him and now the only life wolfwood has exists inside him - in the memories that make up the ghost vash carries in his ribcage like a second set of lungs.

“run.”

and he’ll keep running. he’ll keep running until there’s no more planet left, and then he’ll run some more. if it keeps this piece of wolfwood alive…

he’ll run forever.

so he does, leaving cigarette smoke and whiskey in his wake, the shape of his spilled blood like a cross in the sand.

Still more applied fork theory:

Problem: Sitting at a computer is Bad For Me for a variety of reasons, including back problems caused by arthritis/EDS/scoliosis, clotting risk caused by genetic clotting disorder, fatigue caused by ME/CFS. Also I have migraines and sensory issues and really need to control the light around me.

Solution: Instead of using a chair/desk setup, I use the following:

A twin XL adjustable bed (I got mine from Amazon but the quality has been so-so, I ended up needing to prop part of it up on jack stands because the legs were not Up To The Task. The motor is good? IDK, shop around.)

With a cheap extra firm memory foam mattress

a softer memory foam topper (very cheap: I ordered a queen and cut it into 2 pieces, one for my wheelchair and one for the bed)

Tencel bedsheets (sensory GOOD, Brielle are not terribly expensive)

1 overstuffed memory foam bits pillow that came with the mattress covered with a dark colored tencel pillowcase goes under the mouse hand

2 squishmallows, one under my knees and one that goes between me and the bedrail to support my elbow (the big ones from costco)

A squishy memory foam travel U-shaped pillow for my neck to keep it well aligned (cheap cheap cheap)

And a bedrail that straps around the bedframe to hold it in place.

My kids mounted a rail system to the ceiling and we hung blackout curtains from it, so I can shut out all external light if need be. This was surprisingly inexpensive.

In the winter, I use one of those big old fake sheepskin rugs from costco under my head and shoulders for cozy. And sometimes an electric blanket.

The room is air conditioned with a window air conditioner, and I have a remote

There is an air filter running 24/7 in this room because I spend so much time here and am allergic to my cats who I love very much.

This bed is next to the wall, daybed style. The computer setup is as follows:

A desktop computer on a shelf. I built the computer in a dark case with no RGB parts and did not plug in the LED front panel sensors.

A monitor on a monitor arm.

A metal shelf that mounts between the monitor and the monitor arm that I attached my speakers and webcam to.

Another shelf above it for miscellany.

A little basket over my shoulder for sundries

A gooseneck clamp for my phone mounted to the shelf (I have one of these upstairs mounted to my headboard, too. They're very easy to move the clamp, very secure, and sturdy as heck.)

A Logitech k360 wireless keyboard rests on my belly (and sometimes on a pillow on my belly if my wrists are being tetchy)

I use a vertical mouse (sometimes Jellycomb, currently this one) on the stiff pillow next to me. The wrist position is extremely neutral. I set my mouse sensitivity to high so I don't have to move my wrist very much.

I use Edifier noise canceling headphones when I need to block out extraneous sound

creative pebbles speakers and a Logitech c920 webcam, but that's not mission critical

To make it easier to turn my computer on and off, I got a magnetic button to stick to the side of the case so I can reach better from the bed.

This puts my whole body in a neutral, optimal circulation position where the monitor is well aligned to my head and neck and my hands and wrists are aligned and supported and I need to expend minimal energy when at the computer. Everything is close at hand and I can easily control my environment for light, temperature and sound. I raise the knees and head of the bed to a "zero g" position and use the squishmallows and pillows to further support things as needed. The wireless keyboard and mouse are very helpful.

For me, the logitech k360 is a combination of lightweight, relatively small while still being "full size", light touch, and "soft clicky" as well as widely available and cheap as fuck. It's also pretty resilient to being dropped or spilled on, and if it does break, it's cheap and fast to replace at a nearby store same-day. Preferences for keyboards are highly individual, this one just works very well for me. When my hands and shoulders were bad due to RA, I got two of them and (using both dongles plugged into separate USB ports) put one under each hand in the most neutral positions possible for a cheap-ass version of a split keyboard. Two of these are half the cost of most split keyboards.

This is going to be long.

HOOK.

What can I say. I’m in love with this bastard. And I call him bastard because he’s not always one but has always the potential.

Hook is hands down my favorite Constructicon. I do project onto them. He is a strange mix: a construction vehicles, an hard worker, an engineer, a PERFECTIONIST. He’s snobbish and he sounds cultured which is a nice contrast with other details of his persona (construction vehicle). Of course in canon we know he’s snobbish and a perfectionist and that he is well mannered but we can embellish that even more.

Where does his perfectionism comes from? Why is he so above everyone else? Is it for a lack of empathy or for a large presence of it, not well processed?

I see him as methodic, but with a not-so-subtle emotional sphere. He does what he does because he needs that. He is not simply looking for the best, he is trying to be the best. Those two efforts are travelling the same track. He’s putting pieces of hard work out there and little blocks on the inside too. He is highly intelligent (to me, he is downright genius) so some things may come easier to him but that’s not how he is living them. That’s where his snobbish attitude comes from. He demands and he’s often arrogant because he is feeling that. Far down, in a dark region of his mind, he is insecure. He doesn’t acknowledge that because he is looking out for the pleasure that only something perfect and clean can give.

In all of this, he is also so strong, because although he is favored by a huge brain he was not lucky enough to be granted the means to have an emotional education. He is trying every day and, arrogance apart, he is doing his best. When he cannot, he compensates. Overall I just want to squish this mf in an embrace. Also, honeslty, he looks so damn fine.

SCAVENGER

Alright. This little guy. I call him little because to me, although not being lost at all, he has BIG feelings. He has a main problem: despite his competence and being liked, he is somewhat detached from reality. He cannot connect with what others may think or feel, especially when in regard of him, because he doesn’t want to fail them. He can accept failing himself – and feeling absolutely bad about it - but he cannot stand the other option. He fights this filter every day and the existence of it is the same reason why he doesn’t completely depend on the team. In shorts, he feels alone. He has to do it on his own. It’s kinda obvious he feels bad about it most of the time but he cannot fight it. He is looking for his own independence and he suffers for it. He could survive on his own but he found in every member of the gestalt those little details he needed to bear his hurdles. Also Scavenger is very much needed in a group of nutcases because to me he is the only sane mech around. Maybe LG makes him company in this, but not as much.

LONG HAUL.

I honestly took Long Haul’s main feature - his whining - and transformed it into something more sarcastic and goal oriented. I know, he does whine in G1 but I kinda see him as a pillar. I’ll explain.

He does recognize everything that he cannot stand, he huffs and he grumbles but in the end? He says his bits. In the millennia and more, his need to just say whatever came to his mind morphed into something more constructive and steady; if he doesn’t like something he doesn’t just lament it with the bot ahead of him, he says them what and idiot they are being and what they should do or, more importantly, shouldn’t (a fine example is Bonecrusher, I kinda see them as sort of brothers – not related - and LG is always reprimanding him because he cares, a lot). I really like the potential that LG has. He is secretly Scrapper second SiC (in the shadows) because he says what he thinks and he is leve-headed. When something doesn’t work has it should? Trust Long Haul to know what to do or to say. He may be a tired bot but he knows what he is doing.

MIXMASTER

Right, we know he is not sane, ok. He stutters and he is a mad scientist and blah blah.

First of all I see him as stupidly competent. He is a GREAT chemist. There’s no competition, he is the best. As much as Hook he has a big brain and he had to find a way to make room for his emotions too. Always talking about AUs, to me he stutters because in the beginning he didn’t have the means to fight the world and the people that were around him. He is often secluded in his own mind, speaking to himself, always looking for things and thoughts and jusssssssst talking. He is fast in that brain. Too fast.

I also like to imagine him as someone who makes people uncomfortable when joking, when he is in his most vicious moods.

He also has a couple of tics, his optics are often wide open and he ducks and jumps when he hears loud noises.

Among all the constructicons, he is the cutest. C’mon, look at that face.

BONECRUSHER.

Last year? I didn’t give a damn about him. I couldn’t care less for his alt mode.

I don’t remember what happened. He crawled his way up and is now one of my favorites. Which is, thinking of it, kinda strange, because he has not that much space in the show. He is Almost a nobody.

Almost. You can take your pick when thinking about the adjectives that describe him. Most of them are about him being violent, or rough or whatever. I mean, most of it comes from him being called B-O-N-E-C-R-U-S-H-E-R.

So when I talk about him there’s also a lot of what I want to project on him. I’m making him a narrator in things I write because I want to justify this violence, this apparent lack of intelligence (laziness). Really, between him and Hook I don’t know where to start.

Violence and carelessness always come from precise places. He has a story to me, he his deeply wounded and he is not fighting it while crying. He tries to Suffocate it because he knows what the alternative is and he doesn’t like pain. He surges when he feels it. He had enough time in his life to refine some pretty hard skills but not enough to understand those are in fact useful. They are a survival kit to him and nothing more. He is into vices. Maybe you won’t find him stumbling in a hallway but he will surely try to get a different emotion from any living being that crosses his path. He won’t completely destroy them because he needs them to build his own self, through them.

He wants to devour and he wants to consume, processes bots around him mistake for desire for destruction. Sure often the result may be the same but everything he makes his own gets to be reborn as something else. Ask his gestalt members who always have to deal with him.

He takes everything seriously and he doesn’t; he is waiting for something to utterly destroy him. Destroy or rebuild. He would flip that coin.

Yeah this is almost all AU. But I saw a couple of features there and I thought: why not?

He is Something.

Also insanely attractive just because I say so.

In the end I think it’s pretty obvious I have sooo much more to say – especially about my specials lovely mf – so I’m always happy when I get the chance to talk about them. People, just ask me!!

I’ve been up for almost 3 hours aggressively researching the cheapest but best stuff to get rid of urine odor and enzymes so my cat won’t pee on the couch anymore. I have $30 left in my account now.

I hope this cat knows how much I love him and am desperately trying to help him and make him feel better.

In total so far we’ve spent about $600? Ish? To get him everything we can to make things easier for him and help him feel better.

Between the vet, internet, and reviews all over the internet, we’ve got no options left.

Setting up a totally different litter box/litter/litter mat today once the boxes come in. Deep cleaning the room the boxes are in and the couch to maybe get rid of the smell. He’s got calming treats and a collar, urinary tract specific food and drops, and a water filter bowl.

He’s finished his antibiotics and pain meds. Dr told us what to look for in case he’s blocked. Going to remove all boxes left from unpacking. And put him away while I do it sense the boxes freak him out.

If in about 24 ish hours after all that he hasn’t started to calm down, taking him back to the vet like she said, which will cost so much more, and have to go on a credit card.

So- this is more UnderStretch! Lore…because I can mwah hah hah!!

Once upon a time there was a young goat boy. Son of Toriel the Sentry and Asgore the Royal Scientist. The young boy was sweet and curious as he always was learning something. Often surprising his Dad who had once been in the scientific field himself. The two loved their son very much, as well as his friends. One day two humans fell into the underground. All in the days before the royal split. So they lived their lives with Asriels family becoming closer friends. Their small group traveling everywhere together. Mk and Dummy always in tow. Everything was great…until curiosity killed the goat. Well not killed…but scattered. When playing in the core that he had helped his Father build…something odd caught his eye. A golden locket was on a lower shelf. He asked his friends to lower him down….but he slipped and fell into the core. The explosion throwing his friends back and they all vanished. With no trace that they ever existed.

Asriel was lost for a long time….

But his friends found him again.

Things changed in the underground immensely from that day.

Sketch - I wanted it to be a scene of Asriels followers telling him all about the underground and interacting together. I think they would have gab sessions since Asriel can’t see that much of the underground. Only bits and pieces. Chara of course talks the most as she had the closest bond with the goat.

Line - I went with the ink bleed pen for this one as I wanted to try doing a new style of 90s anime filter I had learned. So I wanted a more hand drawn look

Color block and alpha lock - still my least favorite part- but it was easier since the color palette was smaller

Details - I just like adding all the silly bits and pieces that make it come together. I still always recommend hiding your signature somewhere AND having an obvious one plus adding noise. Prevents art theft!

would it be possible somehow to use your End Is Nigh fixes without the adjustments you've made to the masculine and feminine tags? i super love all the fixes, but i try to keep my masculine and feminine tags associated with presentation since it makes me easier for me to quickly make feminine men and masculine women and i usually don't mind distortion too much. would simply opening it up in Sims 4 Studio and changing the tags myself work? tysm for all the work you do, i've recommended most of your stuff to my friends!!

You can also delete the merged file and keep the unmerged files or keep the merged file and only keep the unmerged files you've modified. My filename format keeps the individual files above the merged file, meaning the game will load the individual files first and show your adjustments over those contained in the merged file. It's up to you.

If you unmerge, you can safely delete "sej_CASOvrd_EP16.package". It is a hidden-from-everything CASPart used to keep track of my release/update version. I haven't decided if I'm going to include it in future merged packages.

What are you trying to accomplish? I just woke up so my brain isn't fully functioning. I ask for two reasons:

Because you already have access to all female-frame and male-frame clothing via the Fashion Choice filters. I've unrestricted all clothing because not all clothing items were made with female and male variants and sometimes the simmer might want something only available on the opposite frame. My sim is Male/Feminine Frame and has both female-frame outfits and male-frame outfits.

I can just upload an alternate file next time with the changes you're making so you don't have to go through all those files again, or if you don't mind making your own adjustments, I can upload the unmerged individual files in an archive. I intended to anyway.

As I'm waking up while typing this, I think I understand what you mean by "presentation" and maybe an easy example is how the Masculine Fashion Choice filter now shows skirts and dresses and you'd prefer them under the Feminine Fashion Choice filter?

I considered doing something with EP16 and future overrides, and it's using ROFrame on the items that have both female and male variants and flagging them for the appropriate "traditional" Fashion Choice. That way on a male sim, you'll see the dress or skirt under the Feminine Fashion Choice and I could leave Randomization enabled and it would be the frame-appropriate variant and you won't see both variants, and vice versa with female sims.

Honestly, if EAxis had made female and male variants for all clothing, I wouldn't have needed to remove ROFrame from all clothing and I might have kept the "traditional gender clothing" thing intact with the Fashion Choice filters. It's because EAxis has made such a mess of everything by not giving us both variants and by using inconsistent and incorrect PartFlags, specifically incorrect ROGender flags which block transframe sims from accessing the items, that I washed my hands completely of how they do things.

Hey I love ur amvs!! I was wondering if you had advice for someone that's interested in making their own? I'm not sure what the best programs are for editing or getting clips. Ty! :)

this is so flattering thank you so much!!!!! I LOVE making amvs…… favourite thing in the world to do so this is gonna be probably longer than you wanted…..

I’ve bounced around just about everything in the last couple years so I can give you a few different ideas!!

For clip sourcing:

initially, I used episodes that I had downloaded as supernatural was airing so the quality was iffy and there were logos on a lot of them… THEN I went the screen recording route (for when I was on my phone, I’ve never tried this on desktop but I know this works well for others!!) but I found that the quality still bugged me AND I ended up with nearly 2000 supernatural clips on my phone…… which was a nightmare to sort through… NOW I use this which is very fabulous and easy to use… you can select which eps to download if you don’t need all of them!! (and no vpn needed)

For editing:

I’ve used a lot of different programmes til I found one that worked well for me so definitely shop around…. youtube tutorials are your friend…. when I started, I was using sony vegas pro…. which worked fine even though my laptop was the first one ever made… but I didn’t want to pay for it and it got blocked on my laptop forever and windows would notttt let me get it back…….. SO, as I mentioned, for a while I was editing on my phone which I would personally nottt recommend for full length amvs… smaller edits would be completely fine!! I used splice which was very basic but it got the job done!! actually. looking through my videos- everything from mr perfectly fine to dean movies was made on my phone which is about 30 videos- so this works!! it’s just much more difficult and harder to polish up…. I personally make amvs much quicker and cleaner on my laptop.. and noticed a big big difference in my own quality since I switched….. NOW I use capcut since it’s free and my laptop can run it without any issues. I’m genuinely very impressed with it as a free software- lots of really good tools and effects, I find it so easy to alter colours and subtitle as well!! which I struggled with on other platforms!! very user friendly too!!! would be very beginner friendly!!

fun stuff :)

PLANNING is my absolute favourite part of making an amv…… normally I hear a song and can very easily picture shot by shot how I would amv it - once I’ve got the song and general theme I’m going for- I normally print out the lyrics and annotate them - jotting down timings, voiceovers, season, arcs and clips.. I can sometimes skip this if it’s just a simple video but if it’s anything complicated I HAVE to write it down. I also find it’s easier to make a video have a ‘point’ if I do this??? idk.. I think it helps but idk if this is something everybody does :)

there’s the spn transcript searcher which is very useful as well if there’s a line you’re looking for but can’t remember where it’s from!!

and of course homeofthenutty which is great for thumbnail stuff!!

editing things:

honestly… I don’t think there’s a wrong way to do this if you’ve got a really fabulous idea….. timings are the trickiest thing to get the hang of- I do dashes on my printed plan to kind of show where I need cuts and if it’s fast cuts I write down how long each clip should be so it looks cleaner. I find that my videos don’t really look finished until they’re subtitled either- so that always helps!! everybody kind of does that differently so definitely play around until you find a style you like!!

I wouldn’t worry too much about colouring when you’re just starting out- sometimes I find that filters can be distracting but I know others who swear by them so that’s just personal preference!! I really just tweak certain clips to make them less saturated or green-looking….

for posting:

I really recommend posting simultaneously on tumblr and youtube!! I have videos with basically no notes on tumblr but did really well on yt and vice versa!! the yt algorithm can be funny- I find that as long as it has a custom thumbnail and a few comments it does alright!! on tumblr- I always link the yt video since the tumblr player doesn’t always work for everybody…. also don’t be afraid to use taglists!!! I’m sure your mutuals would love to be tagged and please definitely tag me in anything you make!!! genuinely owe so much to my mutuals for their support 🫶🫶 and also don’t be afraid to self-reblog!! chronological dashboard means people WILL miss things if they aren’t online!!!

but genuinely the most important thing is to have fun…… I seriously love amvs…. I think they’re the best thing in the world and spend probably at least half an hour minimum a day watching amvs…….. and we need more of them!!!!! so thank you!!! and please please tag me when you make one!!! and feel free to dm me if you need anything at all!!! like all technical aspects aside… an amv made with so much love and to a fabulous song is a gift to the world…… 🫶🫶

You and Me (Part 8)

The day began with a rare kind of stillness on the Mile. The usual tension in the air seemed to ease, and for once, it felt like the weight of the walls wasn’t quite so suffocating. Paul, Brutus, and Dean had made a quiet decision the night before: Y/N could walk the Mile, unshackled and unguarded. It wasn’t protocol, but in their eyes, she’d earned their trust.

Y/N’s first tentative steps outside her cell felt surreal. She kept close to the walls at first, as though afraid to take up too much space, but the freedom, however small, was a relief she hadn’t realized she needed.

Brutus was watching from his desk, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “Just don’t go making me regret this,” he teased.

Y/N glanced back at him with a soft smile. “I’ll be good. Promise.”

Her steps grew bolder as she walked the length of the Mile, her fingers brushing lightly against the bars of the cells. She felt eyes on her—Del watched her curiously, while Harry pretended not to notice. But it was John Coffey’s voice that broke the silence.

“You walk real quiet, Miss Y/N,” John said, his voice low and warm.

Y/N stopped by his cell, turning to face him. There was something about John that always set her at ease. “Guess I don’t have much practice,” she said with a small smile.

John tilted his head, studying her with those impossibly kind eyes. “You see things, don’t you?”

Her brow furrowed slightly. “What do you mean?”

“You see the little things. The pretty things most folks don’t stop to notice.”

Y/N leaned against the bars, her arms folding loosely. “I guess I do. It’s easier to focus on those than… everything else.”

John nodded, a slow, deliberate motion. “That’s a good thing, miss. World’s got a lot of ugly in it. Gotta hold on to the pretty when you can.”

They talked quietly for a while, their conversation touching on simple, almost childlike joys: the way sunlight filtered through leaves, the sound of birds in the morning, the scent of rain. It was a connection born not of shared tragedy but of shared appreciation.

John’s presence was grounding, and for the first time in a long time, Y/N felt like she wasn’t carrying her burdens alone.

Later that day, Y/N was sitting at the desk, sketching again. The guards had let her keep the pencils and paper Brutus had given her, and she’d been quietly working all afternoon.

Dean entered the block, his footsteps echoing in the quiet. He paused when he saw her, her head bent over the page, her fingers smudged with graphite.

“You’re getting spoiled,” he said lightly, leaning against the doorway.

Y/N looked up, a playful smile on her lips. “You think so?”

Dean nodded, stepping closer. “First pencils, now you’re walking the Mile like you own it. What’s next? Gonna take over my desk?”

Y/N laughed softly, setting her pencil down. “I wouldn’t dare. Your desk is a mess.”

He grinned, crossing his arms. “Fair point.”

They fell into a comfortable silence, Dean watching as she resumed her sketching. He couldn’t see the page from where he stood, but he didn’t need to. There was something calming about the way she worked, her focus unbroken.

“You ever think about showing these to someone?” he asked after a moment.

Y/N shook her head. “They’re just for me. Keeps my mind busy.”

Dean didn’t press, but he found himself wishing she’d let someone else see her work. It felt like a piece of her—something honest and unguarded.

Before he could say more, Brutus called out from the other end of the block, pulling him away. Dean glanced back at Y/N as he left, a small smile lingering on his face.

That evening, as the shift wound down, Brutus and Dean sat in the small office, finishing up paperwork. The quiet hum of the Mile filled the space as the two men worked side by side.

Dean glanced toward Y/N’s cell, where she sat quietly, her sketchbook open on her lap. He hesitated, then leaned back in his chair, his voice low. “She doesn’t belong here, Brutal.”

Brutus didn’t look up, his pen scratching against the paper. “Don’t go soft on me, Dean. You know what the court said.”

“I know,” Dean replied, his tone firm. “But I’m telling you, something about her story doesn’t sit right. She’s not like the others.”

Brutus finally looked up, his eyes meeting Dean’s. There was skepticism there, but also something softer—an understanding that Dean wasn’t speaking lightly.

“You’re not the only one thinking it,” Brutus admitted quietly. “But it’s not our place to decide, is it?”

Dean leaned forward, his elbows on the desk. “No, it’s not. But I think she deserves more than this. Someone’s gotta see it.”

Brutus sighed, his broad shoulders slumping slightly. He glanced toward Y/N’s cell, watching as she carefully tucked her sketchbook under her pillow. “She’s got a calm about her. Don’t see that often in this place.”

Dean nodded, a faint smile playing on his lips. “That’s what I’m saying. She’s not who they think she is.”

Brutus didn’t respond, but the silence between them was heavy with unspoken agreement.

The lights dimmed for the night, and as the guards made their final rounds, Dean couldn’t shake the feeling that something about Y/N’s presence on the Mile was changing things—not just for her, but for all of them.

2-I have made up certain species/things for some characters, if you have questions about them feel free to ask

3-I made a post covering Maxie and Stella in a way that gets most of their story across, so I will only be covering everyone besides them, if you want more of Stella and Maxie I will give you more, just ask.

4-Some smaller details might change later as I'm still working out stories for some characters

5-Theres a little inspiration from almost every fandom I've been interested in/actually in (TSBS, TMNT, LMK, etc) so if something sounds familiar thats likely why

6-My characters are unrealistically tall so most have the ability to alter their height if it's beyond a humans ability to be how tall they are.

7-Most characters have complex relationships that I'm not sure how to write all that well, so excuse me if I explain it horribly

Let's get into it :D

Raegen Caballero aka Radioactive :

Raegen Canallero was mentioned in my last post, to sum up their backstory, the non-humans and humans in his universe had a war where the humans flat out took the non-humans to scientific research facilities for testing, Raegen was a victim of this type of abdution, earning him the name Radioactive for the Radioactive poisoning his breath caused to humans. Raegen works for an organization called the Elements, which, obviously, consists of people with Elemental abilities, Raegan oddly being favored in this organization due to their awe inducing slight of hand and special abilities. Raegen wears a belt that has two drills attached to it with cords, making it easier for him to break into buildings. Raegen is often seen wearing a cropped jacket with shorts and blue boots, with, of course, the belt and some gloves. His eyes are green, and ones radioactive green with a lime colored pupil, the other eye is a deep dull green color with a blue pupil. Raegen is in a friend circle with their (before mentioned) sibling they lost. They just don't know it yet. If you want a good feel of his character, try to associate with him with "Drift away" from SU. Raegen is very easily manipulated, being forced to stay in a facility for a good portion of their development years. His name means "King(R) Soldier(C)". His hands are calloused from climbing, grabbing, and often touching rough surfaces. They live in the woods in a small shack, which is essentially a hide out for them, they keep all their possessions there. His lungs have developed to have a negative reaction to Radon (Radon is a radioactive gas that has no smell, colour or taste. Radon is produced from the natural radioactive decay of uranium, which is found in all rocks and soils. Radon can also be found in water. Radon escapes from the ground into the air, where it decays and produces further radioactive particles.) Which causes them to pass out soon after inhaling it, which their gas mask filters. Raegen has a lot of knowledge about chemistry and science. Raegens abilities include - Breathing toxic gasses, can consume toxic liquids(his lungs immediately processes it and makes his breath have the same affects/smell/taste as the toxin for a limited amount of time depending on how much of the selected Toxin they drink.), Teleportation, slight super hearing (can hear everything thats about in a 50 foot radius around him), height alteration. Raegen, whenever he has free time, goes to lost to time/dead dimensions and helps the souls in there pass on to the afterlife, allowing the dimension to finally Decay and the souls to Finally rest. Raegen once found an alive child in a dying dimension, and helped them out, giving them to Maxie and Stella in secret.

Celeste Kanth Novaflare :

Celeste is Maxie and Stella's biological daughter. She's about sixteen and helps around the casino at times, not being allowed to stay in the heart floor for long amounts of time. Celeste looks like both her parents in equal parts, her main color is blue, being a mix of green(maxie) and purple(stella). Celeste has abilities she hasn't yet learned to control, so she refrains from using them. Celeste knows how to use a bow and arrow. Celeste has a passion in Ballet and performing, both her parents attend all her Ballet performances. Celeste has the same half space type of face Stella has, with the constellations instead being blue but still connecting to make a spider web around the eye. Celeste's abilities include - Teleportation, elongation of limbs(from maxie), floatation, spawning weapons from the constellations(from Stella), being able to make a person blind for a selected amount of time in turn making them extremely sleepy, being able to spawn a cloud to ride on and or use for transportation, and being able to spawn limited Portals. Celeste is a eccentric child, being very nice and forgiving which gets them in bad situations at times. Celeste is homeschooled because most schools around wouldn't accept Celeste due to Stella and Maxies track record. Celeste could be called "spoiled", but shes very humble, she loves giving gifts. She's about 6'1 at the moment, she grew quickly which her parents were surprised but quickly adjusted to. Celeste has one best friend called Gelatin. Celeste has curly hair just like Maxies natural hair. Celeste has one green eye with a yellow pupil and one purple eye. Celeste is a germaphobe and is often cleaning or wiping down counters by her own will, cause she knows it's dirty. Celeste realizes if people are trying to manipulate her quickly, and catches it before they can go on. Celeste doesn't have a whole lot of backstory, since she just grew up being homeschooled by her parents and hasn't really experienced anything bad. She's very warm and welcoming to people in the casino.

Alix Caballero aka Lix :

Lix, after experiencing a similar situation to Raegens, was placed in a facility where she was kept against her will, as her abilities developed and she was given minimal amounts of food and water, clothing was white long pants and white long sleeved shirts, she was deprived from human contact and assumed her sibling was dead. After so many years, Lix got a chance to run out and took it. She quickly left the place, burning the walls down as she ran, helping everyone else in the facility escape. Lix eventually evolved to be a Harley-quinn type person. Lix is very sarcastic and rude to most, but at times, she can be funny. Lix's main colors are a light cyan Color, Grey, and black. Alix has naturally brown hair but dyed her hair to have some sections be Ice blue and others being Grey, and putting them up into spikey Buns. Lix's main weapon is a baseball bat, but she also knows a bit of magic next to her abilities she naturally has. Lix has a spikeball tail, she's unsure why it looks how it does, but it's there. Lix's abilities include - Pyrokinesis(blue fire), hypnosis with his voice, able to turn parts of his body/skin into a malubale kind of putty and can shape it into different things, Teleportation, super speed, and Kryokinesis/Cryokinesis(manipulation of ice). Lix talks in a very sarcastic and dramatic voice, mocking people most of the time. Lix has shark-like teeth, which also work like actual Sharks teeth to(grow back after falling out), do at times she'll pull a tooth out for an occasional trick or for scared/horrified reactions. After getting out of the facility, she built up muscle so she could protect herself not only with magic but also with just their general strength. Lix's seclaras have a light tint of blue, and it's noticeable from afar. Lix has visual snow and didn't know it until later on in life when he told some friends about it.

Palin Rockfeller aka Invert :

Palin grew up in a black and white universe, the universe slowly started to gain color(watercolor type colors) as time went on, though once they got the chance to leave the universe they took it, and never went back, due to this, the portal messed with their colors, making half of their body/clothes inverted, anything they wear becomes half inverted and goes back to normal after she takes it off. This didn't affect her much, so she lives with it and usually goes by the name "Invert.". Palin found a handful of friends in this new dimension and met a girl named Lila and her twin named Maya(both are down in this list, Lila is right below palin), Eventually Lila and Palin grew close and started hanging out with only eachother on weekends instead of the two of them with Maya, at some point Palin found Raegen and enjoyed talking to them so eventually added them to their friend group. One day, Palin was going down the street when she heard some screaming. She quickly located where it was from and went down a dim alleyway. This led to her finding Lila's body, She was shot in multiple different parts of her person, Palin took Lila to her place and hoped she could take care of her, since there weren't any local hospitals. Palin eventually realized Lila was going to die if she didn't do something, so Palin attempted to make her into a robot of sorts, but kept her personality and memories in her code, so she wasn't completely different(that's where I'll end the backstory). Palin likes making robots cause she has a passion for design, so she draws in her free time. Palin's abilities include - Being able to split objects into two of itself(one being inverted the other not), short range teleportation, being able to change other people's vision/their vision to see everything with inverted colors, being able to make something the opposite of what it is (eg: medical supplies becoming something that causes harm), being able to visualize words outwardly(like projection, she usually does this when reading stories to children). Palin collects powerful artifacts from across universes and keeps them safe. She has dark brown hair, green eyes, tanned skin, and half of her entire body is inverted.

Lila [Gear] :

Lila grew up in a good home, her parents and both her and her twin sister all were an 'ice family' in their universe, meaning all of them could manipulate ice. Lila's a twin sister to Maya. Some of the few memories she has are of Palin, Maya, and right before her death. Lila had some alteration in code from Raegen to kind of make her a bodyguard robot for Palin. Lila's main weapon is a hammer. Lilas abilities include - Cryokinesis, Super speed, decoding computers (by plugging them into her head), heightened senses, being able to sense when someone's(Mainly when Palin's) in danger, Scanning Wounds/DNA samples and finding how to take care of it/matches for the DNA. Lila has white skin, black hair with a cyan ombre, black & cyan horns, a halo, and black eyes with cyan pupils. Lila has a phobia of Clowns, so she can't hang around Inky for too long until her fear starts getting to her. Lila is like Molten from TSAMS or Jack from TSBS, she'll attack a set target/go after a set target unless Palin (In the TSBS case for this, Moon/Solar) tells her to stop. Lila is quite fond of Raegen, she doesn't remember him but enjoys his company. Lila's code evolves and learns constantly, just like how humans do, so her code can't be permanently hacked cause it's like manipulation to Lila, she'll eventually realize it and leave the person. Lila has a handful of favorite universes to travel to when she needs to clear her mind (Palin's universe, dreamcore-like universes, anything peaceful like that). Lila has artifical lungs and organs, so she can physically get sick, but it's like 10x worse cause her heightened senses cause her to succumb to the sickness more, so she usually acts dramatic and acts like she's going to die when she's sick. Lila loves jazz music and loves dancing. At times, she and Palin will dance to jazz music around the house they own. Lila can adapt parts of her body to become weapons and / or Sheilds, which helps a lot in fights. Lila has a passion for singing and music. She loves giving people vocal training/vocal classes. Lila loves trying to figure out what instruments were used in songs from movies/shows. Most of her main story is in Palin's section, so sorry I can't put it here :,3

Nova Starstruck :

Nova's actual name is flare, but that's been erased from their memories. Nova grew up in a dimension where everyone had shadows over their faces/bodies, making their eyes permanently white and stuck in place. Nova was chosen as a servant for a multiversal creator. They left their original dimension to pursue this job and new life. They go to various dimensions and note down anything they notice or anything important, making up names for the dimensions based on the notes. Nova has gone to various dead dimensions that usually end up in them just walking around for a bit, taking in the amount of Ashes and taking notes about what is there(that hasn't died yet) or what could've been there. Nova's very devoted to her work and tries to avoid making connections to anyone in the universes they visit. Nova dresses like a pastel Clown to make themself somewhat blend in at some points as a street performer. Nova is extremely tall and looms over anything or anyone they meet. Nova has red hair, a shadowed body/face, and white eyes. There are various other versions of Nova, they were one of the two options the Multiversal creator was going to chose, and the creator chose them for one significant difference, the ability for them to leave their life behind easily. Novas abilities include - Height manipulation(on themself), Illusion/Major image/Minor image, teleportation, a remarkably flexible neck(/ref), can know someone's name by looking at them,

Inky Inkwell :

Inky comes from a dimension called Geometricks where everythings made out of shapes. Inky is very docile and not intimidating. Inky carries candy in his pockets to give to children(upset children or just children who want candy). Inky was/is a juggler at their carnival ("Once upon your wildest dreams") and used Shurikens/Ninja stars in their juggling acts (at times also juggling both objects with Party favor in their hands). Inky's abilities include - Telekinesis, Shapeshifting, Teleportation, Disconnecting limbs, Making matter out of nothing, moving molecular structure, electrokinesis, human cloaking(being able to make himself look human). Inky doesn't talk much about his universe but it's suspected by others(Maxie, Nova, etc) that they left it forcefully. Inky looks legitimately like 2d animation when walking around, they dont have any shading though, so he's just flat colors and some outlines. Inky has Tear marks on his face(look at drawing on my profile if u haven't seen it ^^), when he's actually crying the tear marks turn green and yellow. Inky has a gap between their teeth(which are naturally off white). Inkys neck & waist frills are from the universe theyre now in, unlike the rest of their outfit. Inky keeps poloroids of their close friends (Their Carnival friends and Party favor), they haven't managed to get a picture of Nova yet. Inky's human form is pale with green hair and blue eyes. Inky loves the cuphead universe for the rubber hose artstyle it has. Inky has never been seen angry, they're either bored or happy. Inky can consume his juggling shurikens/daggers, it's a trick they've learned from some of the swallowing-sword's people in their old Circus.

Ricin aka John Doe :

It's suspected that he was the cause for his universes death.

Party favor :

Party favor is Inky's closest friend. Party favor is actually a monotonous nightmare-dream eater, though they've stuck around Inky because of the amount of nightmares they have, so Party favor gets to eat nightmares regularly. Party favor has extremely long pointed limbs and a very odd face when in their natural form, the form they're usually in is a compressed version of their form (I might have to draw their monstrous form sometime). Party favor didn't like much of the "Once upon your wildest dreams" crew but tolerated them since Inky got him a kinda-job-sorta at the place. Party favors abilities include - Confetti spawning, Mind manipulation, minor image/Minor illusion, Hallucinations, human cloaking (Same thing as inkys ability). Party favor likes using Sparklers as a distraction at times to get away from people. Party favor doesn't talk about the (now dead) "Once upon your wildest dreams" crew infront of Inky, which they're usually near/around, so they just don't talk about them at all. Party favor has various hats they wear at separate times. Party favors "Eyes" can also be a mouth, the middle of the X is where the mouth pops out of, like a demogorgon sort of.

Jimson aka Clementine :

Ricin is a dead, unidentified body. He died from a workplace accident and fell onto a pipe, busting his head open, before falling into a vat of chemicals, completely burning his skin and Eyeballs out of their sockets, no one was brave enough to get his body out of the vat so they gave him the nickname "Chemical vat John Doe". Ricin is a vengeful spirit and Haunts the company buildings, causing more workplace accidents (which bodies have been identified from), and trying to get people to figure out who he was, it upsets him that he just got the name "John doe" then they went on. Ricin's abilities include - Teleportation, Hallucinations, Portals. Ricin was smoking right before he died, so his spirit has a cigarette in its mouth, the fires unextinquishable. Ricin has purple hair, one green eye, one red eye, slightly tanned skin, and is wearing a black suit with a red tie. Ricin doesn't often make friends with other spirits. He's very rude and reclusive(like EaPs Eclipse!). He consistently tells any new spirits that the police aren't going to find their bodies, and they'll also be known as a John/Jane doe. The only person he sorta gets along with is Jimson(who isn't a spirit, but can see him). Ricin was supposed to get sent to hell, but his spirit escaped, keeping his soul in the factory(that's now been long abandoned [he died in 1920.]). Ricins soul is physically stuck at the factory, he can only go 150 feet away from it before being sucked back to it.

Jimson is a 2d-looking character, similar to Inky, except they're actually 3d. Jimson loves gardens and helps Kaede(an oc that's not on this list) out with his garden! Jimson can see spirits and often helps solve Jane doe/John doe cases, but also is a murderer of sorts. He uses dead bodies he finds for compost. Jimson has a sun mark and a rain-cloud mark under each of his eyes, his eyes are green and his hair is brown, his bangs are a somewhat-pastel indigo, his skin is tanned, and he dresses in overalls, short sleeved shirts, and boots. Jimson is very pushy, which often makes most people steer clear of becoming friends with them. Jimson convinced Ricin to tell them where he died so they could maybe help solve a case (from over 50 years ago? Yeah, good luck, buddy lol), he ended up not being able to help, but he could talk to Ricin better at the factory since Ricin's soul was stuck there, so they talked more. Jimson eventually would find that Ricin can possess an object they have, but I won't talk about that much yet :) Jimson can eat/consume/smell poisonous food/berries/flowers/etc, they have a immunity to it. Jimson quite literally sprouted out of the ground, which is why they have a sprout on their head. Jimson doesn't seem to have a mouth, but when they open their mouth they have teeth like a lamprey(if you guys know what that is, if you don't, Google it, they're pretty metal /pos). Jimsons abilities include - Geokinesis, ghost-seeing/spirit-seeing, being able to consume poisonous things, being able to suck out blood like a Vampire, can sense how far along a plant is to being done growing.

Lydia Summers :

Maya Chrome :

Lydia is the leader of the Elements(the organization Raegen works for). Lydia comes from a Fire family (like in Lilas thing, a fire family means a family that can manipulate/control fire). Lydia is very manipulative and overly pushy. Lydia is good friends with Maya from childhood. She has red-orange-yellow ombre hair, pale skin, fire-like eyes, a small crown on the top of her head, and a fire tail. Lydia dispises Lila a Lot, even though she's Mayas sister, Lydia never got along with her no matter what. Lydia's abilities include - Pyrokinesis, melting/welding/bending metal to her touch, being able to make her whole body fire. Lydia's hair spikes up in Flames (think like redson from LMK) when she gets mad. Lydia's clothes mainly are made out of non-flammable material, so she doesn't burn them. Lydia hates when she's not able to get in on any fights. Lydia is power-hungry, so she has most of the people under her control gather powerful multiversal weapons so she can use them all to rule the world (classic villian). Though Lydia's whole organization is about the main elements/Elemental powers(though there is one using electricity- shshshsh) she still put Raegen in the organization despite him not having any Elemental powers, he's just kinda the barbarian of the Organization (aka the only one like REALLY physically strong). Lydia grew up incredibly spoiled, in a wealthy household, which didn't help much with how power-hungry she got later on in life.

Relationships (main) [Relationships you guys should know about] :

Maya is Lila's twin sister, she doesn't know her sister died(technically) and thought she just went missing. Maya is incredibly reluctant to help Lydia with her goals, but does anyway since Lydia is her best friend. Maya admires the "Casino crew"'s (Maxie, Stella, Palin, Kaede, Gacey, etc[most I haven't wrote about here]) work, but knows they're a threat to the Elements organization, so knows she has to take them down at some point. Mayas abilities include - Cryokinesis, Teleportation, Water manipulation, minor Illusions. Maya has black hair with a light cyan ombre, light cyan horns and tail, cyan eyes, black diamond pupils, and pale skin. Maya respects most of the Element's people, mostly respecting Raegen for dealing with Lydia's bullshit most of the time. Maya loves fashion and includes it in her everyday outfits. Maya often wears a chrome belt on her outfits, liking the look it gives against her skin. Maya often leads buisness meetings since Lydia hates doing them. Maya's one of the kinder people in the Elements, most are insane or just need to go to a mental hospital or therapy. Maya is very gentle with people, and usually when talking to Karen's uses gentle parenting techniques.

I need certain people to understand that it’s okay to dislike something, or to feel disgusted by something

No really, it’s okay! Disgust is a natural response from our body that protects us from potential harm. But a disgust reaction alone is NOT EQUAL to harm!

For example, some small children think greens (veggies) are disgusting. However, the existence of veggies alone and feeling disgust doesn’t cause harm

now apply this to fandoms

it’s okay to feel disgusted by fan works

it’s okay to have squicks

it’s totally fine to have “do not wants” and “do not interact”

it’s okay to block whatever and whoever. You don’t even have to give a reason why!

it’s also okay to criticize fan works (if someone consented to it or if you rant to a friend about it or make some vague mentions about it)

But what will never ever be okay is to tell someone that their and the works they make/published are disgusting and harmful because you (general) feel triggered.

It’s also not and will never be okay to be the nastiest person to someone else either. I don’t care how disgusted you feel, but I bet most people do this because angrily beating something down they think causes harm feels good. Getting those likes retweets for telling someone “hahaha kys pedo!!” gives a sense of (fake) justice and moral superiory

But also, why surround yourself with things you dislike when you could surround yourself with the things you like? Isn’t that so much healthier? Doesn’t that bring more joy?

Stop being an asshole, stop reading the fanfic if it’s not fitting your tastes, mute and block accounts and terms, and definitely use filters to weed out things you don’t like

thanks to a robust tagging system, avoiding something has become easier than ever. The internet and social media will never ever cater to one person alone, and definitely not to you. It’s your job to curate your own internet experience and if you can’t do that, then ask your parents, other relatives, teachers etc

Ok, you can hate "horny artists" if you want, but no need to announce it to the world and be a mean bully bitch about it. People do this with straight ships too. God forbid someone ships fucking JaneSeth in zzzero. People will throw a fit because they headcanon her as lesbian and that means their hc is the only one that matters apparently, despite Jane flirting with men and women in the game. I remember when headcanons were these fun little things in fandom that you had without being like "Well she's ACTUALLY a lesbian and if y'all don't agree, you're lesbiphobic". People need to learn to block and move on more. Instead of being a dickhead to ppl, curate your online experience. Commenting on something you hate all the time is actually gonna make you see it MORE often, but they're not ready for that conversation.

Some accessibility ideas I’ve had:

A collapsible box in the body of the post for image descriptions. It is first open by default, and the user can change that in settings.

Spoilering like on Discord, so that something in the middle of the post could be spoilered without having to spoiler everything after with it — especially when you need to spoiler something several times.

Community label for eyestrain (saw that a community label for flashing was already suggested, yay!!! I have. So many variations of flashing and eyestrain warnings in my filter)

Oh heck yeah, this is what I'm talking about! I love the image-spoiler feature on Discord so much! It makes it possible for people without sensitivities to post content and for me it's still safe to visit certain channels! I would love this on Tumblr! It would also be a great multi-purpose tool. The box thing sounds very good! Idk how well this works with screenreaders though, but a settings option to collapse them by default would be a great solution!!! V creative idea! Community label - for simplicity i think flashing + eyestrain should be one label. Wether it is called both, one or the other or something else, I don't care, but it should definitely be used for anything that may be triggering to photosensitive folks!!! I also have quite a few variations for flashing lights + eyestrain blocked, and I think a community label would make it easier to streamline tagging/moderating User Experience. @staff @wip If tumblr became a fantastic accessible plattform (and would also fix the issue for screenreaders + text formatting), it would positively stick out amongst all other social media platforms!
