NEED👏THAT👏MAN👏PREGNANT ROUND 6 POLL 6
Tumblr media Tumblr media
PROPAGANDA:
[Dr. Doppler]
"Deleted dialogue says he gave birth to his and Amelia's children. If Disney weren't cowards, they'd have kept the mpreg dogman."
Important Note: @megers67 has come forward to say that the 'Mpreg Doppler' thing is actually an unverified claim that they have accidentally perpetuated in the past, but they still put their support behind his candidacy in this competition. And yeah, if Disney didn't consider mpregging the dogman after all, we can still fix this by gettin' him pregnant now!
[Garak]
"Because he would be soooo annoying about it and it would be funny."

We gotta start telling people “you don’t actually like TTRPGs you just like critical role” more. Like if somebody joined a martial arts class and kept talking about signature moves and catchphrases and power slams and rivals like its pro wrestling that would be pretty fucking annoying to people who like to practice martial arts right

No it is not John 8:7
You can't kill your way to a better world.
No matter who is killed, no matter why, and no matter what they have done to deserve it, wherever an act of killing has taken place - there has been a miscarriage of justice.
Violence is not the solution, violence is the problem.

also. this is gross. but i'm quitting smoking and what no one tells you is that for awhile, i saw some ppl online saying up to a year even, that means you're just hacking up like mucus encased tar. cuz apparently there's these hair like things called cilia in your lungs that slowly move stuff upward so you're able to cough it out, and smoking like. 24/7 365 for the past 5 years had my cilia all fucked up, so now it's finally coming back online and being like holy shit you need this out of here NOW.
anyways don't smoke kids. smoking weed is still smoking and your lungs hate it. fuck vaping too. just eat a gummy or make your flower into a delightful little tea this shit sucks so bad yall

This is an asymmetric game with three roles and little cooperation. The Fates are a player who run the background world, events, and keep track of the rules. This is the GM sort of role. The rest of the players are divided between one Dictator and two or more Senators, each with different rules and goals.
Players will fight, scheme, plot, and lie under the watchful eyes of the Fates but not everyone can win. Cunning and a sure hand are needed to steer ones destiny in the chaos of the late Roman republic. Good luck, and watch your back!
We should totally just stab Caesar is LIVE!!

LD50 of water is 0.09 kg/kg, average american weighs 80kg 0.09 x 80 = 7.2 liters for 50% of people to die Trump released 2.2 billion liters of water of Californian water into the ocean for no reason
2,200,000,000 / 7.2 = 305,555,555.55 repeating so if it is an LD 50 for 305.556 million then 152,777,778 Americans were saved by Trump heroically protecting Americans from this dangerous water lurking in their reservoirs.

I played increasingly complex in rules games of imagination in elementary school without ever putting it to paper or using dice. Very weird, very fun. I must have explained this at some point to my dad, who had played AD&D when he was in highschool, and he got me my first ttrpg the Christmas before I went into middle school. And I've been playing ttrpgs ever since
we need to talk abt the power scaling problem in playing pretend :/

As a Cis man the ability to consider if I was trans or nonbinary was deeply helpful for me. It helped me reject the patriarchal bullshit pushed on us by other men. If manhood is a choice, then I can choose only the parts I want.
Saw a cis (I think) woman talking about how cis women need trans women because if trans women don’t exist then being a woman isn’t a choice and is instead just something you’re consigned to for life.
I’ve been thinking about it all day because I agree but I feel like there’s more to it than that.
Idk. Gotta think more.

Just want to throw in here that the same famines and same policies also were used against the Kazakh people at the same time. Despite there being many settler colonists in Kazakhstan at the time, few died while the ethnic Central Asians died en masse. An estimated 38 to 42% of all Kazakhs died. I say this not to undermine what happened to the Ukrainians but reinforce it. What was done to them was not done to them alone. The Soviets used the same hunger in the same way to try to crush the independence of the Kazakhs the way they did the Ukrainians.
Ukrainians are stronger than me. I see one idiot try to claim that Holodomor was a made up lie pushed by Neo Nazis and I want to go insane. I think Ukrainians should legally be allowed to beat up tankies. I mean this doesn’t even get into how awful they are about the current invasion they are under.

This is the plot of Dark Lord of Derkholm, one of my favorite fantasy novels. A normal earth human hijacked this fantasy world decades ago using the loyalty of an ultrapowerful demon. He now has coerced everyone into running a horrifically damaging epic fantasy larp through their plane, treating it as an amusement park. The main character and his family have been selected to play the role of Evil Dark Lord tm for this years batch of horrible real world tourists
So many fantasy TTRPG stories are about "People/creatures from X plane are coming to our plane and causing problems!" I want to see the reverse now. The fae are pissed because the humans keep coming in and extracting resources. The angels are pissed because humans keep trying to make a resort for the wealthy. The axiomites are pissed because humans keep invading Axis and trying to introduce capitalism.

Something I don't think we talk enough about in discussions surrounding AI is the loss of perseverance.
I have a friend who works in education and he told me about how he was working with a small group of HS students to develop a new school sports chant. This was a very daunting task for the group, in large part because many had learning disabilities related to reading and writing, so coming up with a catchy, hard-hitting, probably rhyming, poetry-esque piece of collaborative writing felt like something outside of their skill range. But it wasn't! I knew that, he knew that, and he worked damn hard to convince the kids of that too. Even if the end result was terrible (by someone else's standards), we knew they had it in them to complete the piece and feel super proud of their creation.
Fast-forward a few days and he reports back that yes they have a chant now... but it's 99% AI. It was made by Chat-GPT. Once the kids realized they could just ask the bot to do the hard thing for them - and do it "better" than they (supposedly) ever could - that's the only route they were willing to take. It was either use Chat-GPT or don't do it at all. And I was just so devastated to hear this because Jesus Christ, struggling is important. Of course most 14-18 year olds aren't going to see the merit of that, let alone understand why that process (attempting something new and challenging) is more valuable than the end result (a "good" chant), but as adults we all have a responsibility to coach them through that messy process. Except that's become damn near impossible with an Instantly Do The Thing app in everyone's pocket. Yes, AI is fucking awful because of plagiarism and misinformation and the environmental impact, but it's also keeping people - particularly young people - from developing perseverance. It's not just important that you learn to write your own stuff because of intellectual agency, but because writing is hard and it's crucial that you learn how to persevere through doing hard things.
Write a shitty poem. Write an essay where half the textual 'evidence' doesn't track. Write an awkward as fuck email with an equally embarrassing typo. Every time you do you're not just developing that particular skill, you're also learning that you did something badly and the world didn't end. You can get through things! You can get through challenging things! Not everything in life has to be perfect but you know what? You'll only improve at the challenging stuff if you do a whole lot of it badly first. The ability to say, "I didn't think I could do that but I did it anyway. It's not great, but I did it," is SO IMPORTANT for developing confidence across the board, not just in these specific tasks.
Idk I'm just really worried about kids having to grow up in a world where (for a variety of reasons beyond just AI) they're not given the chance to struggle through new and challenging things like we used to.
