I've recently started using Twitter as a new tool to generate more traffic to my newest blog. Last year, I've done the social media challenge with a group of blogger friends, and it showed promising results.
Today, I'm more amazed than ever by how fast you can get results from Twitter.
Depending on the niche, I suggest Instagram, Pinterest, or Twitter. For me, I've chosen Twitter as my main platform (even though I also use Pinterest but that's a slow, long-term strategy right now).
Okay so focusing on Twitter every day for 2 weeks now - what have we got so far?
593 Profile Views 24 Link Clicks 4% CTR
I am sure many of you have better results than this... Personally, I was struggling A LOT to open up on social media. I'm somewhat of an introvert in this regard.
But I finally started by simply talking to active accounts, joining in on existing conversations, and just being my friendly self overall.
What blows me away is this:
This is INSTANT traffic! And my account is TINY - now imagine doing that with a large following. I could kick myself for not getting out of my comfort zone earlier!
It is very similar to what I used to do with forums and how I've gotten tons of traffic by helping people on forums. But right now, Twitter seems even faster. I know from others that they've had similar results on IG or Pinterest - I can only share my Twitter results (for now).
Let's see how this develops in the future. But right now, I'm amazed.
Are you using social media? Please follow me on Twitter @fromclicktosale!
Let me know in the comments below which platform you are using and how it's been going for you!
Thanks for reading and please leave a like on this article :)

Movies
You know that part in movies where a process is cut together into a 2min sequence with dramatic background music?
And then the "hero" is ready for the final challenge?
They just skip over it in movies cuz showing years of the same daily routine is "boring".

How To Stay Committed Long Term
I find that when you can't stick to something it's usually because you feel overwhelmed.
It's okay to tone it down, as long as you keep at it every day.

Like any project or business, your affiliate marketing blog needs a plan. And sticking with the plan eventually turn into a routine. We don't necessarily think of financial freedom as a routine... after all we're trying to build our independence to escape many mind-numbing routines.
But routines will make or break our affiliate marketing business.
Especially in times like these, where the whole world seems to change - or stand still (depending on your point of view). Your days probably feel different than they used to, for many reasons. (And maybe you even question some life priorities.)
It must surely be an emotional time for many of us... But this time will prove one thing to you: Is your current blogging routine bullet-proof?
The Life Of An Online Business:
The life of our online businesses will always be going up and down. Whether it is external factors (like right now), or personal circumstances (health, family, new goals), we have to be prepared for bad times.
A good blogging routine is a strong insurance against such bad times. We have to continue:
Creating content,
Finding keywords,
Networking in our niche,
Helping prospects and clients,
etc.
I'm not trying to use this worn-out wisdom of saying "everything bad also has something good". That's really not what this is about...
What I am saying is that right now, whatever our blogging routines are, they are being put to the test for many of us.
Can we stay focused?
Do we keep pushing our online business forward?
Is our current blogging routine bullet-proof, meaning does it work even in TOUGH times?
Because if our online businesses are to survive and thrive, we must be able to push through hard times. When emotions go wild or time is limited, it is our routines that save us.
Current Situation:
For me personally, I'm doing quite well with most of them - except for one: Content creation. It is a clear sign to me that I need to focus on further developing daily routines that create content consistently.
Judging by my surroundings, I think that many of us are falling back into old habits (watching more TV, talking too long on the phone, downloading that game...)
Do your current blogging routines benefit you and your online business, or not?
Has your affiliate marketing business slowed down meanwhile?
I think these are interesting questions to ask ourselves right now and they give us clear feedback on how well our blogging routines are working for us (or against us).
Where do you stand on this? Let me know in the comments below!
Stay safe and stay healthy everyone. All the best to you all, James

The Perfectly Crafted Offer (Example)
I recently came across this squeeze page for Seth Godin's Freelance Workshop and I thought it was a great example on how to craft the perfect offer.
I want to go over the points why I think it's such a well crafted offer & landing page. As a matter of fact, I saved it to my swipe folder. (Do you have a swipe folder with examples like that? Let me know in the comments below!)
Now obviously, if it's from a pro like Seth Godin it will be amazing. But that doesn't mean we can't use it as an example... After all, we should learn from the best!
Video Introduction
The first thing on the page, located at the very top, is a short video of Seth Godin giving an introduction to the offer.
The video is only 1:18 min long but very professionally created. He's well dressed, sitting in an office or library, in front of a large bookshelf that covers the whole background.
Almost any landing page, squeeze page, or offer is better with an introductory video like that, for several reasons:
Adds a personal touch.
Prospects can see and hear the person making the offer.
Adds more trust.
Makes the page more interesting overall.
Many people will at least start watching, simply out of curiosity to see who's talking into the camera.
Amazing Copy
The copy of this page is simply amazing, in my opinion. It speaks directly to the target audience (freelancers) and addresses their core issues (how to find work and get paid well).
If you've been freelancing for a while, with all the ups and downs that come with it, you'll read this page and think "THAT'S ME"!
I think anytime your prospect can identify with your offer on that level, you've got great copy.
Clear Offer
The page is also very clear on what the offer exactly is: Online workshop with 12 lessons over the next 60 days. After going over this page, there's no question about what you will get. This is very important on a sales page or squeeze page.
If you leave people confused, they have a hard time signing up. Yes, it's true that by being so clear and specific, you will also turn away all the people who wanted something different. For example, if someone wanted an e-book, or a video course that is already fully available now, they'd be disappointed. That's not what Seth Godin has to offer here.
But only thanks to this clarity can all the prospects, who are truly interested in this offer, sign up safely. It's exactly what they were looking for!
On that note: You don't want to trick people into signing up for something that's not for them anyways... It will only cause refunds, complaints, and hurt your reputation.
Call-To-Action
The background is white, the font is a kind of black (similarly to here on WA). However, the CTAs (Call-To-Actions) are highlighted in orange - clearly marking them and drawing attention to them.
There are two CTAs: One in the top-right corner in a box, which follows the reader down the page when scrolling. The second one is at the very bottom of the page, occupying the full width of the page with an orange background.
The point is this:
The CTA is clearly worded, just like the rest of the offer.
It's highlighted with colors and clearly marked so it's easy to find.
And there's one at the top for "fast action takers" and one at the very bottom after reading the whole sales letter.
Money-Back-Guarantee
To further gain trust, there's also a money-back-guarantee, which says: "If you find that it hasn't met your expectations, simply drop us a note after you've participated through all the lessons in the workshop and we’ll refund your entire tuition."
I love the wording of this guarantee and it also ensures a committment on the side of the student. If a prospect has no interest in completing the course in the first place, then why even bother signing up?
This guarantee is also great for people who are on the edge: It looks like a good workshop, but is it really for them? With this money-back-guarantee, they can sign up and see for themselves, completely risk free.
Do you like this breakdown of an offer / squeeze page? Let me know in the comments below!
And if you've read until here, please don't forget to give this article a like. Thanks!

Out of all the social media networks, I've always liked Twitter the most. I never really knew why, though! I think it's because of the simplicity: It's easy to type a short tweet, or reply to someone. I like simple things, and Twitter feels simple.
Instagram for example is much more work for me because I don't like taking pictures. And Facebook has way too much stuff happening on the screen for my taste.
Alright so I've enjoyed Twitter the most... however, since the social media challenge last year, I haven't been reaching out to other people much. I've gotten rather quiet on Twitter.
That was until a few weeks ago...
And this week was an great week on Twitter for me! Several amazing bloggers & online marketers have reached out to me and I've racked up more followers than usual. For my current position, that's really good!
What happened? I looked at my tweeting history to figure it out!
A few things surprised me:
I used very minimal hashtags.
I wasn't so shy anymore to share my opinion.
If someone linked to a new blog post, I would leave a comment on the blog post and reply to the tweet, too.
Hashtags are important of course. But they don't automatically get you attention on Twitter.
It seems to me that people are much more interested in opinions & personal experiences. And if we combine that with one or two fitting hashtags, that's all it takes to connect with others on Twitter.
The important thing is to connect. I've never really thought about it in that sense. These two replies particularly made me think about it:
Connecting with other people means communicating on a 1-to-1 basis. Since online marketing is about scaling your business, such 1-to-1 interactions are oftentimes neglected.
However, these types of 1-to-1 connections are very powerful and a great starting point for any new affiliate marketer! Think about it this way: How do you want to influence 100, or 1000 people, if you can't even connect with 1 person online?
Even the biggest influencers stil reply to DMs and comments, for exactly this reason: 1-to-1 interactions make a difference, they have a lasting impact.
I think not focusing on 1-to-1 conversations was my biggest mistake on social media so far!
So I've decided to track my Twitter progress again. For this purpose, I've created this spreadsheet here - feel free to track your own progress, too! Or just stalk me as I try to grind it out haha.
I like seeing numbers going up, even if it's only by 1 point per day on average. I know from my previous blogs that on the internet, things start very slow... But once things start scaling, the snowball effect takes over and it can grow very fast.
If you use Twitter, please follow me @fromclicktosale - I'll be happy to retweet you and check out your posts.

The last few weeks I've been thinking a lot about how to get my brain back into "content creation mode". Especially when your blog still has low traffic numbers and the comments section is quiet, it can feel like talking to a wall.
Once you get a consistent feedback loop from your audience & followers, creating content gets a bit easier.
But until then...
We need a solid plan to come up with fresh, new content ideas even when we feel completely drained of all ideas already.
Even if you're burned out today - I think the list below will help you! At least it's been working for me so far.
Luckily, I've been doing better than I thought at finding content ideas - without even noticing that I've created my own little system for it. That's how my lengthy hands-on guide was born, which I've published on my blog FromClickToSale.
In this article here, I want to share the current list of ALL my go-to resources to come up with new content ideas - at a surprisingly consistent rate.
This list is in no particular order, which means that all of these resources can work equally well. Most likely however, you will find one or two that work particularly well for you personally.
At the end of this article I'll talk about my favorite resources. For now, let's go over the list:
Quora,
AnswerThePublic,
Forums,
Social media networks,
Product reviews,
Interviews,
Personal spreadsheet,
Questions.
The most important thing when searching for new content ideas is that you let your mind wander a bit.
I cannot stress this enough: Even with a step-by-step process like this, this is still creative work and you must not be overly strict with yourself.
You never know what piques your interest! But when something does, follow it until you say to yourself: "I want to write about that."
But it all started with the above list of resources, poking around, and then letting my brain do the rest.
For me personally, forums & keeping a personal spreadsheet with ideas have worked especially well.
You might do better on social media or any other of the resources from the list above - so try them all out!
Do you also have a process for finding new content ideas? Let me know in the comments below!

This video is about my daily or weekly routine to repurpose my blog content for different platforms and drive more traffic back to my website.
The main repurposing ways are:
Blogging,
Web 2.0 platforms,
Video content,
Podcast episodes.
The most important thing when repurposing your content is that you avoid duplicate content and make sure that each recycled piece of content is interesting on its own.
This way, you can ensure that you're dumping trash content onto all these other platforms and eventually get punished for it. Not only by hurting your own reputation, but also by building a spammy backlinking profile that Google will punish your rankings for.
Watch this video to discover what my process looks like and why I've chosen to repurpose my content in this way.

The internet is full of possibilities. To connect with friends, to learn new things and even to earn money. All you need is a laptop or phone, an internet connection and the know-how to start making money.
Here is a list of free methods to make money online.
There are two distinct ways of making money online. One is with an active business, where you get paid for doing or selling things, the other is passive, where you build a one-off service that generates income without you having to do anything more.
Passive businesses are all the rage now, but both ways have different pros and cons.
A mix of both types will be the best.
First of all, you have to get an audience. People have to see that you’re selling something before they can buy it off you.
The easiest way to get an audience is to go where they already are. The quickest way to start earning money online is by selling a service.
UpWork and Fiverr both allow you to sell services, such as creating a logo, and have an audience fr you already.
Starting out on Fiverr is best. But you’ll have to get the attention of your audience in a crowded marketplace.
Set up your profile with a professional looking, friendly picture. People buy more when they can see a face attached to a profile.
Make your description focused on what you can do for people and why they should trust you to do it. Add any previous work you’ve done as part of your portfolio.
Add a video to get even more attention.
Set up can be a long process, but it’s worth it in the end. It’s all about making a good first impression.
You can do pretty much anything on Fiverr from writing articles, generating backlinks, creating logos or even voice over work. Once you’re comfortable on Fiverr, with small contracts, you can get bigger ones on UpWork.
A passive income stream can be set up using social media marketing.
There is a lot of hard work involved at the beginning, but it will be worth it.
Pick a topic your social media account will cover, create beautiful images and content for it with Canva, make sure you’re using the right hashtags with Hastagify, post two to three times a day, every day, and interact with your audience.
Once you’ve got an audience use affiliate links to promote products and earn commission.
Another way to make money is with video marketing. Using your phone or laptop camera you can create content on a particular topic, just like social media marketing. Consistently upload videos to YouTube, around 2 or 3 a week, and keep doing it. Your audience will grow and you can use affiliate links to make money.
I’ve not included blogging here as it isn’t free. But you need a blog as somewhere to keep all your content. Free accounts can be shut down and all your hard work will be gone.
With these strategies you can start making money from the internet right now.
I've created a step-by-step guide to making money online! It is a completely FREE guide that any beginner can follow along: Click here to discover all the steps.
