okay so I've been playing a bunch of No Man's Sky, a game whose main unique feature is its mind-bogglingly huge universe of procedurally generated planets, most of which have still never been encountered by human players. when you make first contact with an undiscovered planet, it starts out with a random name. just today I've discovered Snesfin, Inkiew, and Roranbu-Anuki. but a minute ago I landed on a planet with, and I must stress this again, the randomly-generated name of:

Jokes aside, did Gen 5 actually have an answer to the whole “weather and the changing of seasons working without magic” situation?

I guess it’s really more of a nitpick than anything else, but still, it’s hey another stick on the ever growing pyre of “reasons that G5 doesn’t make sense as a direct continuation of G4”

The only piece of g5 that tried explaining it was the comics. To no surprise, the comics came in clutch. According to them, Cloudsdale was abandoned and the cloud factory was left on autopilot when pegasi couldn't fly anymore. It's the same comic where THIS happens.

Hooray!!! Rainbow Dash died unhappy and incapable of doing what she loved most!!
